NYC TV Mounting

NYC TV Mounting is an excellent, professional service.
It took Joseph and his partner no more than 1/2 hour to mount a 60” flat screen TV in an office space. They brought the proper mount and asked questions to make sure the installation was done how we wanted. They also followed building protocol for COI and left no mess.
Highly recommend.

We've gone to the NYC TV Mounting team twice to install our TVs and sound bars. My husband is picky with his set up, so it means a lot to hear how happy he is with our results. The first time we used this company, we needed to have a TV shifted after we didn't install it well ourselves. We were very happy they could wrap the wires for us, too. (We didn't want the wires behind the walls, though this is an option they offer.)

This second time, we wanted a TV mounted in our home office and another in our bedroom, plus sound bar. They did both in about two hours. Looks great, much easier than trying to do it ourselves, since we're not a very handy couple. Amazing work and amazing experience! 5 stars.

Ralph and Jordin were very professional and highly skilled. The wall the TV is mounted on is made of concrete and the TV is 55”. I was beyond satisfied. I am so happy that I chose NYC TV Mounting they are truly the best. I would definitely recommend and will be using them again. Thanks

I highly recommend NYC TV Mounting. I hired the company to mount two TVs and two fireplaces in my new apartment. I had one of the worst moving experiences in my life and the NYC TV Mounting company made a bad situation a little better. I dealt directly with the owner of the company, Joe, who is an amazing guy. Joe and his team did an amazing job, we’re reasonably priced, and a pleasure to work with. I ended up hiring the company to do additional work for the apartment. I recommended the company to all of my closest family and friends.

Great mounting service, the guys came on time and were very professional and knowledgable. The mounting was done quickly and cleanly and met our specific needs. No smudges on tv screens unlike other mounters that we’ve hired. We would definitely hire them again for our future mounting needs.

Very professional and efficient! We had this company come to mount our tv and hide our microwave in a cabinet (requiring a complicated maneuver) and they were able to accomplish both tasks in a quick and professional manner. They also don’t overcharge which is a huge bonus when you live in NYC. ??

This company is amazing. Joe (the owner) answered my call and was here within a week to mount my tv. I’ve used NYC TV Mounting on several different occasions for things such as mounting multiple TVs on different wall types throughout my house and outdoor area, surround sound system setup, shelves, lighting features and they set up security cameras for me as well. They were always non time, efficient, work was super clean and they did not leave until they made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. I’ve recommended them to plenty of friends and family already and plan to continue to do so. Highly recommend.

Fairly priced, great customer service, skilled and knowable employees. Much better experience and value than calling Task Rabbit or Handy. The appointment was easy and the gentlemen who arrived were experienced, fast and knowledgeable. I had a few complex mounting tasks to be done on freshly painted walls. NYC TV Mounting is the best group of professional, down-to-earth, honest, hardworking tradespeople I've ever worked with in the NYC area. Coming in from LA for a quick turnaround project of mounting a dozen TV's in a day (and routing all the cable beautifully!) for a gallery event – these guys knocked it out of the park like true champs. It's not often you get to work with one person who takes their job seriously and makes sure to deliver 100% quality – this came from the whole crew of half a dozen gentlemen. Joseph and the NYC TV Mounting team are the best in the business. I’ve used them for three different mounting jobs and not simple ones at that. Whether it’s dropping pipe from the ceiling to fit a tv that wouldn’t fit on the wall, or mounting TVs right next to each other with no room in between, the team always delivers and goes above and beyond. I recommend these guys to all my friends, and when I inevitably move apartments again, I will call these guys and have them come back out to do another job. Definitely recommend for all mounting jobs.

Ralph called 15 minutes prior to coming over. He was on time, professional, friendly, and handy. He mounted our tv and connected the cable box quickly and without any issues. He makes sure the tv is at the at level you want it and hides all the wires. Such a perfect job. We highly recommend him for mounting services!

On time, knowledgeable, pleasant crew. Joseph the owner is very accommodating and Anthony, our technician taught us while he was installing! Fair prices, lighting quick service, clean and meticulous. What more could you want? I've never said this before and meant it: don't look any further. Not to mention I only called 3 hours ago and we're sitting enjoying our new setup. On a Friday!!!

They have mounted two TVs for me in the past 6 months. Both times they did a great job and they completed the job quickly. Both people who helped me were friendly and respectful. I shopped for a good price and found this place to be better than many other professional mounting services.

Highly recommend! Joe was incredible responsive, diligent, accommodative to my schedule and professional in all regards. I had a very tricky mounting situation which required some creativity and assistance and Joe was just the man for the job.

Joe arrived on time for our appointment, surveyed the situation, took measurements and immediately came back to me with ideas and a proposed solution that included a custom fit box to hold the mount (which he also found for me). He even did some required electrical work to activate and move power outlets on installation. The work was done incredibly well and when finished they cleaned up all of the mess from installation and made sure that everything was functional and as I wanted it before leaving. I highly recommend Joe for any and all of your TV installation needs.

Originally thought I'd try to save a buck going with TaskRabbit, they ended up mounting my tv at the wrong height off center and hitting me with a hidden fee. NYC TV Mounting helped me remount the tv in the correct position, clean up the wall marks from the original job, and also mounted my sound bar. Should've called them from the beginning. Couldn't be more pleased with these pros. Sometimes cheap is expensive and I learned that the hard way.

Joe and his team were great! They provided a number of service for us and executed on all of them! They mounted our 58” TV and re-wired the cables for us so that we could mount the TV over our fireplace. They also mounted and set up cable in our bedroom, installed sonos sound systems (for TV and apartment) and setup WiFi extenders through out our apartment. We recommend them for any of these jobs and will definitely be using them for future projects! Thanks Joe and team!!!

Used them to hang two TVs in my new apartment. It was a bit confusing cause they had to move an outlet but they made it look easy. Friendly and very professional service.

Working with Joe was a great experience. The pricing was great and the process was extremely fast from getting the COI for the building, and the installation appointment was all done within 24 hours. We will be doing business for many years to come.

Flakiness and lack of accountability. After they rescheduled and pushed back my small commercial mounting project several times, I was finally stood up a 3rd time, with no apology or a follow up from either the supervisor or the receptionist. If you decide to hire this company for your mounting needs, try and get reassurance upfront that your job is not going to be too small for them, and that they are not overbooked before asking them for a COI. Also, you have to make sure that the supervisor (or person doing the work) is going to add your job to their freakin' smartphone calendar, and that they won't leave you hanging. Additionally, I also found it very uncomfortable to have the supervisor cc'd on emails without acknowledging any of them when he was involved directly in the work. I personally believe that it's important to hold yourself accountable when you miss an appointment. As for me, I'm taking my business elsewhere. The receptionist is bright and mindful (hence the 2nd star), and I think she makes a good attempt to masquerade the supervisor's lack of professionalism and flakiness.

Responsive and great work. They not only mounted 2 large TVs perfectly, they also mounted our shelving unit and some hard to reach art high over a difficult staircase. 100% recommend Joe and his team.

I spoke with joe via text to schedule a mounting of a 65 inch and a Sonos bar. Joe was very professional and helped me schedule a time that worked for me and also was Great when I had to reschedule. Bill (I think) was on time and we briefly discussed what I wanted and he got straight to work. He walked me through placement and any questions I had. When all was said and done. He cleaned up and made sure everything was working. Even cleaned my tv. He did a quick overview and fixed anything he noticed. He was very friendly and professional. Tv looks great. Hired to mount 2 Frame TVs and soundbars. First visit, left without mounting anything. Second visit, one of the technicians wouldn't properly wear a mask, mounted incorrectly/crookedly to the naked eye, and had to reinstall the work. I now have extra, visible holes in my wall -- something we could have managed by doing this with friends and not spending a significant sum with this company. Mounts are otherwise not totally secure. Owner reached out and offered to refund a de minimis amount given photos of visible holes and pandemic experience, but, of course, even that wasn't sent after repeated follow-up. BUYER BEWARE.

Bill and joe were really great and helpful. Bill mounted my tv and even spackled holes from where my tv used to be mounted. I had to call joe after and let him know that I needed to switch the cords behind the wall- he offered to have bill come back for no additional costs! Very easy to deal with

Very very poor response time, filled out their project submission form for 2 t.v. to be wall mounted on 7/19 received a response on 7/21 Sunday evening from Anna Carter
Client Success Manager, responded on the very next morning 7/22, requesting to schedule an appt and more info. I received no response and I patiently waited and waited. I finally needed to know if I could get this done by next week so I emailed again yesterday 7/25. During that time of waiting I added another t.v. to be mounted. Now that is 3 t.v.'s with wire concealment and possibly brackets to be included, so not a small job, roughly about $1,000 worth of work to mount 3 t.v.'s. Today is 7/26 and you guessed it, still no response. . Luckily I called another company yesterday whom responded asap with all the information and they are scheduled to do the job next Tuesday. Side note, my husband called independently twice and they never returned his call. Maybe you'll have better luck not waiting for days with their Client Success Manager.

Joseph is wonderful! He is prompt, extremely knowledgeable, fair, and gets everything done, and hides all those messy wires. He is also very patient with anyone not tech savvy!

I can't comment on their actual service so i won't give just 1 star. But i contacted them for a service twice and they never got back to me either time. I reached out online and via phone. Online it said I was booked but they never showed.
I went with TaskRabbit instead.

They are definitely not open 24 hours. I have called them at 3am the last 3 nights to get a quote and no one answered.

What a change of pace to find a company that truly delivers everything they promise. NYC TV Mounting came to my home to mount my 65 inch led tv. They were timely, showed complete respect to my home and even were able to help out with a few electrical projects i had to get done also.

It would not do this company justice to merely say they go above and beyond for their clients. They are honest, straightforward, don't promise what they can't deliver, and deliver superior craftsmanship and service excellence every step of the way! Best company in the business hands down!
