Best Contractor Service in New York NY

They came to my home within the hour of me calling him when the power went out in my basement. He spent 5-10 minutes. He informed me that electrical wires and the box were old and probably rubbing the wrong way. He reorganized them and said to call him and he would come back out and replace the box. He charged me a discounted fee. I haven’t had anymore issues but plan to call him if do.

Great people and superb service. I needed an electrician for an emergency situation and they came right away.

I had base lamps that needed to be installed and switches that needed to be replaced in two apartments for a production company. The response time to emails and calls was very quick and the electrician who completed the work was very efficient and friendly. He definitely found the right solutions to my problem (another electrician kept giving excuses on why the work could not be done). Very pleased!

I had an electrical emergency in my apartment on a Saturday. I called countless electricians. Most never called me back. Some said they were sending someone, but never showed up and didn’t return my calls. Rich responded to me in a timely manner, and guaranteed that he would send someone in two hours. He showed up, troubleshooted the problem, and corrected it in about an hour. He charged a very reasonable price too! I cannot express enough how helpful and professional he was. Best electrician around!

Ilya was awesome. He replaced my electrical panel, grounded the wires, replaced a whole bunch of outlets, installed recessed lighting as well as an outlet and a switch. He was professional, his guys worked very hard (even ran to home depot to get parts/do an exchange when I bought the wrong light), and he was responsive to any issues that arose and made sure we passed the inspection (and took care of the logistics). He also got someone out immediately when we discovered an emergency situation. His estimates were right on target and there were no surprise charges. He kept me updated through the process. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

We worked directly with Dave, President of Daven Electric, and he offered fast professional service at a reasonable price for a project other electricians didn't have a solution for. Dave helped us diagnose why a large piece of machinery wasn't powering up...unfortunately it involved upgrading our electrical panel but Dave made it as painless as possible, took care of all communications with CON ED and had our machine back up in running as quickly as possible. We definitely felt Dave and his team went above and beyond.

I've hired York Electric for two separate jobs at my condo in LIC. They installed recessed lighting in my living room and bedroom. They did such a great job that I hired them again to put in a vanity fixture in my bathroom. The team was very professional - they were thorough, clean, and organized. I would highly recommend them.

Our home is around 60 years old. Unnecessary to say there have been various changes that have been done to the electrical system over this time. We were looking to wrap up the basement inevitably, and as we examined what was down there, we found leftovers of knob and tube and way as well numerous junction boxes, clearly far from perfect. Besides, the crew came in and settled everything. They were professional and knowledgeable, gave us many great recommendations, were courteous, and treated the house as if it were theirs.
