I was very pleased with Alex & Alex (family business). It was actually junior Alex who took my call and ultimately made the repairs. On the phone I explained my problem (flickering lights in two different rooms) and Alex explained what the service call would cost and what they would do for that price. When I asked when they could come out, he shocked me by saying in about an hour, after his current job. Shocked at how soon he could come, I booked him. Sure enough, he arrived in about an hour, diagnosed the problem (bad switches), replaced both of them, and: took a look at another non-working light and made a suggestion for repair or replacement, recommended I replace my existing under cabinet halogen puck lights with LED lights to save electricity, and gave me the link to the bulbs I could install myself. He also pointed out my current (40 year old panel) needed replacement (something I knew from two of my neighbors), and gave me an estimate for the job. The actual repair for the two switches was only an additional $25, and I was satisfied with the total price. I compared his price for replacing my electrical panel and it was competitive with what my neighbors paid, so I'll probably use Alex & Alex.for that job too.

Have used West LA Electric for several years. Over that time, they have rewired my pool filter, pool light and patio lights. Put in the electrical for a cabana and a waterfall pump for my pond They have changed my whole electrical service when the line from the DWP pole hung down on my roof on the way to the box at the back of my house. Put in all new circuit breakers and changed the electrical service to a more convenient location. Rewired my kitchen for new electric oven, then again for a new microwave and a third time for a new dishwasher. Rewired garage when I put in an air conditioning system. Installed a garage door opener and the sensors. When I sold that house the home inspection had ZERO faults with the electrical. Lived in that house for many years.
Also had West LA Electric put in the electrical for modular workstations at 2 of my new offices, and dismantle them when I retired.
All in all, extremely satisfied with the work, I know it was up to the legal requirements and that is why I am currently having them upgrade the electrical at my newly purchased house.

We had a great experience with Branover Contractors. They were extremely responsive and reliable. We had our electrical panel upgraded from 100amp to 200amp, a Tesla charger installed, and wiring run to a new gate we put in. The price was great and they handled all backend work with LADWP.
