Best Emergency Repair Service in Los Angeles CA

Same as J De Nuccio's review. One of my recessed lights wasn't working. $76 to show up, inspect it and give me a bid. About $900 to replace with an LED ballast or $499 with a regular one. I usually don't mess with electrical problems myself but that seemed ridiculous so we sent him home. About 10 minutes of googling and I tried something myself. Literally as simple as unscrewing the bulb, pulling down the little brass piece with needle nose pliers, putting new bulb in. Done. Fixed. $0 and 2 minutes. The guy was either incompetent or a crook. Unacceptable either way.

A few days later he and his crew show up on time and did a good job to make a new outlet, upgrade a breaker in my unit, and install new breaker and wiring through my unit to my parking underneath to install a ChargePoint EV charger on the wall. The job was well done professionally, and Alex take care of all the permit and inspection from the City. No need to shop around for EV charger installation, call Alex, and he will solve all the electrical problems for you.

This company has great service and personell. I had an emergency to restore power in my house on a Saturday evening and as soon as I diled there was someone live on the phone. I explained the situation and they promised to show up within hour and a half....the technician show up on the spot with a well equipped vehicle to get the job done. Ken was quick to explain my options and once I made a decision, he got to work on it right away. The problem was resolved in roughly an hour. I also like the fact that they send you a text with the picture of your technician so that you know who will show up at your door step. Pricing was fair as well.

I requested dual GFCI switches replaced over the phone. Offer was for $99 one-year charge or $79 service fee. Electrician came over and said another $189 diagnostic fee. I told him it should not cost over $300. After 2 hours he could not replace the switch and blamed wiring. The company charged me $600 for putting in standard switch and not GFCI in the kitchen wet area. Not only did they not do the correct work but over charged and said member ship was included. The company charged me on 2 credit card accounts. One over the phone and one at home. They did not give me a written estimate before starting. Everything was on his tablet.

We installed a Jacuzzi at our house and after hiring 2 different electrician we were referred to OCA. When you're in a situation where 2 professionals can't figure it out you start freaking out. So once Jack came out and checked all the wiring and control panels he started to do his magic. First he explained to us that it's not common that electricians work on Jacuzzis all the time and said don't blame the electrician which was very nice and professional of him. He also read the owners manual and figured the problem out. He explained everything A-Z and got the Jacuzzi to work. I will refer anyone I know to OCA and make sure people don't waste there time and money.
