First time using this service. Found on google. Reviews are positive and I second this. First impression was that customer service was responsive and on top of communication. They responded to a repair need quickly and kept me up to date when they experienced delays. I like that the business is tech savvy and has a team of pros. They have their business together and seem to be top tier in professionalism.JR Hernandez quickly diagnosed our problem and was very clear and articulate when communicating the problem and presenting the tiered options for repair. Once we selected our option, he was able to do the work swiftly, efficiently, and was friendly all the while. I felt very comfortable and would use these guys again. They’re not cheap but they know what they are doing and you get what you pay for. I would use these guys again for any major problems or projects.

I am very happy with Express Electrical services! Hector recently repaired an electrical outlet that I used for my garbage disposal. I had been dealing with this electrical issue for awhile until it completely went out and I had to get help from a professional. Hector did a fantastic job! This was our first time using Express Electrical Services and I was very pleased. Lamar called before arriving (which I had requested) and he was professional and knowledgeable. He went over options with me and I was extremely impressed with his honesty. Work was completed quickly and Lamar made sure to show me how to remove the cover so I would be able to change lightbulb in the future. He even went and got an almond colored toggle switch since all he had on the truck was white. A+ service.

Truly one of the best repair experiences I’ve had. Their appointment service was great and set me up ASAP to help me get my power back on. Their electrician Lamar was able to diagnose the issue and get my power restored faster than me and my family could imagine. I’m usually skeptical when calling a repair service but really trusted their advice and appreciate them not trying to oversell me or offer unnecessary repairs. I had a beautiful experience with Express Electrical Services. My contact person was Jesse. He’s an amazing individual. He is thoughtful, caring, compassionate, experienced and knowledgeable. He indicated that my father needed an upgrade on his electrical panel. The only problem was, I was leaving to go out of town the following evening. He suggested coming early (7:00am) the next day to complete the work before I had to leave. The following morning he arrived with coffee and muffins for my Dad and I. It was so thoughtful because this was during the extreme cold weather we were having and he knew we were going to be without power for a couple of hours. He continuously checked on Dad (89yrs) and myself, until he was able to complete the work. It was again a beautiful experience. I highly recommend the Express Electrical and Jesse.Renée

We moved to a new home with a seriously outdated breaker box. Al came to the rescue right away and worked diligently to repair everything like new. I can rest easy knowing that we won’t be in a blackout! He even repaired the fan ventilator in the bathroom saving me some money from having to replace it. Al was efficient, kind and very neat. He cleaned up his work space without a trace and his work was very professional. Now I just need to share his contact with my neighbors who were trying to poach him while working on my place! I could not be happier with the service I received from Express Electrical Services. I needed them to install recessed lighting in my daughter’s room, refurbish my breaker panel, and install an outdoor outlet so we can finally put up some holiday lights. Alex did a fantastic job diagnosing the issues with my electrical panel after a faulty breaker caused the panel to catch fire and burn out. He was very communicative and always on time as he upgraded and replaced the panel with a new one. Was the service cheap, no, but in my opinion when it comes to the safety of my family it is worth every cent to know we have been taken care of by an extremely experienced professional who has no interest in cutting corners!

Had an issue with our hallway light. Technician Saul arrived on time and was very thorough. Besides troubleshooting our problem, he also pointed out some other issues. The power in my garage has an issue so I cannot open the door or connect the heater correctly yesterday. I randomly googled online and call Express Electrical Services because they work 24/7. Barbara, the lady who answered the phone was really patient and helpful. Even my English is not good regarding the terms, she still tried her best to understand my problem and scheduled the technician for me today (due to the President Day holiday). Then I received the text message to remind me about the time and confirm the address for the service.This morning, I first received a phone call from Barbara, to verify the schedule again and let me know the technician's name. Then I received another text message from the electrician George Correa with his photo for safety. He arrived my house on time, wearing the uniform and the mask on.After he heard about the issue, he checked all the outlets and wiring in the garage carefully. He explained all the potential causes and let me know the solution. He showed the pricing clearly and emailed me the cost estimate before I agreed with the installation and repair. Then he started to fix the problem.During the process, I asked a couple of questions regarding the issue and some other electricity questions. George answered every single question with full of details. He is really nice to work with, especially for the ones like me that is not very familiar with this kind of knowledge.The pricing is not CHEAP, but reasonable to me. I always want to find the company or service that is trustful, with clearly written warranty and policy.Due to this situation, I highly recommend this company in entire SoCal area. Their work is very efficient and clean, especially if you have a big project, such as installation of charging station. We are going to purchase a clean car sooner or later so if I need super power, I will definitely reach our Express Electrical Services again!

We had water leaking through a light fixture during a pretty heavy rain storm. Express sent out George who was very courteous and professional. He assessed the extent of the damage (thankfully minimal) and replaced the light fixture right there on the spot! While George was there, I happen to remember that we had a faulty outlet outside the house. George took a look at it and replaced the outlet and applied a waterproof seal on the cover. Problem solved! We were very impressed with the quality of service and will definitely use Express Electrical services again in the future.

Alvero Nunez, was very helpful in troubleshooting a breaker issue. He offered a several alternatives to the final repair. One thing that stood out was that he observed a safety issue that was overlooked during our final home inspection and brought it to my attention. Not only did he complete the job quickly he also provided additional quotes for work that I will need to have done in the future. I will request him again specifically when I have the future work done on my home.

Alvaro was my electrician and did an amazing job. He is kind and courteous. He Explained and showed me the issue and was comprehensive on what needed done to fix the issue. I highly recommend him.

Do your research. Called them on Saturday morning for a bad fuse box and breaker. Was quoted 3519.50 for two breakers and a new disconnect at the A/C. I decided to get second opinion, was quoted $550.00 for the work, second opinion also mentioned that the beakers they were using were not correct for my service.Would not use or recommend. Punctual, and polite, but then most professionals smile right before they screw you.

Adam Anderson helped us determine what was happening when some of our switches and plugs were no longer working. He determined that the issue was at the power line, which helped us take the next step in getting the problem fixed. Adam was super professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us. Just a HEADS up from people coming from TESLA Website of Recommend of electrician to install Wall chargers. The amount of 5 star reviews this company has is a MAJOR Red Flag. Check YELP for the more legitimate reviews! No way any business can nearly get perfect 5 star reviews from this amount I can guarantee that as a business owner myself. I called them and they want $89 for an inspection and they try to get you use their service to waive the charge. Sounds pretty suspicious if you ask me. What is even more suspicious is that they WILL NOT GIVE you a QUOTE or ESTIMATE of how much they charge an average electric vehicle charger installation from other clients they have. If you try to push that topic they will play it off is that they don't know and contract other people for the job which is WTH aren't they hiring electricians associated to their company how do they not know the pricing for average residential home. They will try to push you to schedule a electrician to come over and charge you for sure $89 just for them to take a look. Find another company and create a list of questions to ask them so you don't end up like those people in YELP reviews. If you are able to see this review from the massive amount of suspicious 5 star reviews from this company congratulations.

I called Express Electrical with a wiring issue on a weekend, and they were able to send someone same day. We need help right away with our electricity. We were only getting 1/2 power in the house Jacob was the technician that come out and he was honest and helpful. We will be requesting him in the future.

Saul arrived right on time and was very professional. He asked questions all along the repairs to make sure we were doing exactly what needed to be done. Had several hard wired smoke detectors replaced along with some light switches. I appreciate that I was given options and never felt pressured to choose the most costly path. The little details were noticed - use of shoe covers when entering the house and vaccuming up the areas after finishing. Everything works great. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this company. I would give them a 12/10 stars. I woke up today panicking not knowing why my outlets on the roof had stopped working, which also controls our tankless water heater. I was trying to switch the breaker but nothing was working. The friendly woman at the front desk ensured me all would be okay.They sent out George Correa SAME DAY who could not have been more friendly, helpful, and patiently explained to me what was happening, why it happened, and my options to fix the problem. I personally know nothing on how electrical panels work, so the fact he was extremely patient in explaining everything meant a lot. He really went above and beyond so I would understand what needed to be fixed, he even showed me the wire that melted into the other causing the fuse to switch/affecting another outlet in the same area, causing the breaker to flip. Very informative actually. I would HIGHLY recommend George Correa.Electrical success aside, he was very sweet with my two dogs and we had some good laughs about his own dogs at home. (We both have mini golden doodles). Overall, I can’t say enough good things about George’s knowledge, quick ability to assess the problem and provide a solution with a friendly, upbeat attitude. If you want an overpriced solution to your electrical problem, these are your guys. Plugged in a hairdryer that then blew the power to multiple outlets. Express Electrical Services sent out a tech who said we'd need to re-wire the whole house & put in a new panel, a $9500-$16000 estimate, and he had problems re-assembling the main breaker panel after pulling it apart for his research. We called another electrician for a 2nd opinion (not even telling him we went with Express 1st) & it just needed a new outlet, granted it was a special outlet, but the job was only $300, and he could put the breaker panel back together no problem. $300 or $9500 take your pick.

Alex was the gave the best service and educated me on the options. Unfortunately, you were out of my price range but as Realtor I will refer you to my customers.

Did not use. Wanted to. I manage a building in Los Angeles and in order for them to conduct work on the property they wanted a power of attorney from the owner to give us authority to hire them for the work. So an agency agreement as a property manager is not sufficient.

Jesse was extremely responsive, professional, and friendly. He and his colleague Nick worked quickly and effectively. They replaced our fully messed up panel and left it 10x better than they found it. No details was spared. Jesse explained each step along the way and patiently answered all of our questions. They were also highly respectful of our space and time. Highly recommend!

Our technician Carlos was very friendly and efficient, and explained exactly what he was doing and why, so we always felt informed. He even needed to cut into drywall to do the job but he cleaned up afterwards, so the place was left in the same condition as before he arrived. Plus this company patches up any drywall that is removed as part of their service so it’s so much easier than calling in a separate company.

Raul, the electrical technician is a great credit to the company. Very professional. He gave a very thorough diagnostic of my electrical panel and excellent suggestions concerning the placement of new light fixtures in a bathroom remodel.Very punctual and kept my house clean while doing the work. I know the next time I have work needed I will be calling Express Electrical again and asking for Raul to do the work.

Blew up my phone with dozens of calls over a short weekend, to which I kept replying I will call back on my lunch breaks, to eventually have them cancel my estimate saying they can’t work in buildings over 2 stories? That’s literally all of Orange County, but ok. Thanks for the 20+ phone calls

George recently did electrical repair/rewiring at my home. He was excellent! He explained in detail the company policy, the pricing and what my repair needed. Upon his initial assessment, he advised us of the additional work needed and give us several options and we chose. He worked very hard and completely corrected the faulty outlet. He left the area clean and tidy (actually - cleaner than it was to begin with!). I asked him how long he was with the company and he informed me it was 5 years and how much he enjoyed the company and well respected and treated the employees are. So nice to hear of a family run company that does good work and treats employees properly. My son in law had occasion to stop by and I told him our family now has a GREAT electrical repair company to call upon for electrical work! Keep up the good work!

The work he did was neat and clean and he was thoughtful about where to place the conduit on the outside of the house so it would look good. We were happy with the service and will call again when we need something in the future.

Today, my husband and I had the pleasure of having an electrical wiring issue repaired by a Technician named Saul. What a pleasure!!!!! Saul was not only extremely knowledgeable at his kraft, but was also a very pleasant, warm individual. I have already referred my other family members...and yes, we will request Saul for our next visit. (I am quite sure the other technicians are equally as personable) A definitely positive experience!!!!!

I would welcome him in our house for future work.(I’m going to edit my review to say that what I said above is 100% true but the company he works for charges farcical rates but when you have a dangerous situation on a Sunday and you have called ten companies and no one can come but you have nowhere to go and a child in the house you don’t really have a choice. You should know the charge for ‘troubleshooting’ our fuse box was $1800. These aren’t hourly rates)

Jorge and Adam rocks! Very up front and honest! Explained everything they were doing and letting us know at all times when there was a change in action. We called them out for a simple installation of a laundry fan to hooking our dryer plug to a new breaker. Finding out we needed a whole new breaker panel. I always read reviews before i do business with a company but I was a bit desperate because my AC unit was tripping my powerstrip the tech show and spent a few minutes looking at my electrical panel. Began talking for what seems like an eternity. I then told my wife this isn't going to be good. The guy was talking too much. He did not even enter the home and told me he would be back with my quote. About an hour later he came back with some ridiculous sums of money. The guy wanted to rewire my entire home for $32,000 with a 10% discount lol. The other options were $25,000, $15,000 and $9,000 I almost had a heart attack since another company had charged me $165 for a similar problem with my washing machine and dryer. I gave this company their $89 show up fee and quickly send him on his way. I do not recommend these guys for simple jobs. Maybe if you're rich and money is not a problem then by all means call them. I will just have to suffer in this heat until I find a reasonable company. These guys are for millionaires.

If you want the job done fast and done right, then this is the company. I had a switch that was not working properly so I scheduled an appointment with Express Electrical services, they reached out with the name and ETA of my assigned electrician(Raul H.) They provided me with many affordable and fair prices to choose from after answering some questions and checking out the issue with no pressuring for a decision that benefited them. It was all catering to me and only the things I need fixed. Raul was extremely professional, presentable and an all-around outstanding person to speak with. I called Express Electrical because of the reviews. I was skeptical at first thinking a firm cannot have all these positive comments but I did anyhow because I needed an electrician, ASAP. My outdoor GFCI needed to be replaced because it shut off power to other receptacles in my kitchen and would not reset. Called after hours and luckily a live person took my call and information. Received a call the next morning to tell me that Robert, the electrician, will arrive in the afternoon. Robert explained my options and replaced the bad GFI outlet. Robert was very professional and down-to-earth and understood my financial situation. The cost of the project was fair and reasonable.While he was there I asked him to provide an estimate on cost to replace my recessed lighting because I will be calling this firm when I am ready. You have good workers. My message to the owner(s) is to make sure you treat them well.

When our faucet started leaking onto the outlet that powers the garbage disposal we had to make sure to act quick.Quick isn't a good enough word to describe how efficient and professionally lightning fast Aaron and the folks over at Express Electrical Services were.Within 24 hours he had come twice, given more than reasonable quotes for not just the emergency but for other things he had noticed could improve the overall electrical situation at our house. He reviewed the problem with me then studied the electric panel and explained the problems he found there.He then reviewed four possible solutions and the cost for each. I chose the one I preferred and he verified with a third party that I had chosen the service of my own free will and understood the work to be done. We called Express Electrical Services out to install a new light and switch in our laundry room of the house we just moved into. In addition, we discovered our outlet for the dryer wasn't working. Jorge came out and discovered we needed to replace our circuit breaker box as it was outdated. We also needed grounding rods installed. Jorge was very up front and honest about what we needed to complete our upgrade and told us step by step what would be done. Jorge and Adam were the best! They worked hard into the night to ensure we had power before they left. The next day they installed grounding rods and went through the trouble of labeling each breaker for us. Oh by the way, they installed that new light and switch in the laundry room along with replacing the exhaust fan. Our technician, George, did a great job quickly diagnosing the problem. He then offered 5 options to take of the problem. Complete refurbishing and restoration to quick fix options. Obviously refurbishing is the most expenses and probably the best option to solve the problem as permanently as possible but he didn't put on a hard sell. We went with option 2. He also offered a senior discount without us having to ask.

I had the technician named Al. He was very polite unlike the phone operators that work for this company he was working under very hot conditions and I did not hear him complain one time. Be careful of this company! They make you pay for a consultation cause they have no idea what they are doing. Our fuse went out and they tried charging us $9k to install an entirely new box when all we needed was a new switch. I ended up calling Legacy Electrical and apparently i had a switch that wasn't even being used. Legacy switched it out and didn't even charge me because it was a simple task.

I had Express Electric come out after receiving an insane quote from Mr. Electric at nearly 400% higher price. Not only was my technician, Alvaro N. Extremely professional, he was polite, patient, made sure to take his time explaining things to me with each step, and he was generally pleasant to speak with while he was getting the work done. I had a very complicated video doorbell installation setup and he handled the whole thing with ease. They have won me over permanently. If you need any electric work done, this is the place to go.

I have used Express Electrical Services and specifically George Correa twice now and WOW is the service amazing. Truly the best electrical service I have ever had. As a business they are HIGHLY responsive, ready and willing to help within 24 hours. George was so professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He explained everything to us in great detail and gave many options for how to proceed with major electrical issues we were dealing with in our home. He went above and beyond to check/test everything in the house in connection with our issue and in each case helped us resolve what was going on. I trust him and Express Electrical implicitly and would them over and over again!!! They are the BEST!!!!!!!

Oren was the electrician. He is excellent. Seems like a good company. I have no reference for price competitiveness, needed an outlet installed for a dryer immediately and they were able to do the work within the timeline. Thumbs up.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. they are unscrupulous and took advantage of an unknowing customer. They first quoted $1410 + $195 to replace a main breaker turned out the main breaker was a $50.00 double 100amp breaker that took less than 10 minutes to swap. When asked for a discount, they easily gave 20% off. When I found out what they did and called them on it, they dropped price again to $928.00 and dropped the trip fee. This should have been no more than $300 to $400 even with a Sunday fee.They only provided a written estimate AFTER the work was done. The manager asked me to agree to an item no. 7 on a document that had not been provided. Renee' said it was a recorded line so maybe the owner should check this out for themselves.

Jesse could not have been nicer or more professional. He explained everything in great detail and definitely instilled a great deal of confidence in me. His assistant Nick was also very nice and they completed the job really quickly . I would highly recommend your company !

Gabriela called me back very promptly after I left a message she was so nice and professional and listened to my electrical issue and got me connected to a professional right away. Working with electrical technicians, Oren, has been a great and refreshing experience. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND requesting Oren. Your house will be in safe hands. Fast, professional, respectful, good listener, very proactive to work with City inspectors and other utilities officials to meet safety requirements.... The details: He rewired the electrical, that means he had to go under the house to get everything connected correctly. He also updated the electrical box to be compatible with the new rewiring. In addition, fixed a problem with dimming lights. In short, Oren upgradeted all electrical aspect of the house to be compatible with all modern home electrical appliances. He was always on time, very explicit at explaining his diagnosis, was very patient, was always available. He walked me though the every aspect that was about to work on. City inspectors were part of the process, so Oren was very proactive to work directly with the city inspectors so he could meet every requirement. He spent a lot of his personal time working with Inspectors just to make sure the job was done to perfection. Inspectors were not easy to work with but Oren handled the very well.The overall, service was very professional: from the very first call I to the Express Electrical Services, to the follow up with with appointment, and of course to Oren.I certainly can sleep peacefully and know that my home electrical work is working safely. Called Express Electric to install a ring floodlight cam. I previously had the first generation lasted me a good 5 years . Unfortunately it went out on me and had to replace it with the latest version. I quickly realized that the new version is not as easy to install as the first gen. I called another electric company that previously installed my doorbell camera . The price was reasonable at the time . Unfortunately their quote was almost $1000 to install and run new wire to the camera . I tried to do it myself but without the right tools you’ll just end up getting frustrated . Joe from Express Electric came out was very friendly on time and professional. His price quote was way lower than the previous electrician . Joe I highly recommend . I would definitely use his services in the near future for any type of electrical work in my home . Btw his truck had all the tools and equipment to get the job done on the spot . Other electrical company didn’t want to do the work the same day . Despite having a big cargo van . You would think they would have all the parts and tools needed. Joe came in a little Dodge van and had all the tools and parts needed for the job . Excellent service and excellent employee .Thank you Joe !

I’ve used express electrical twice now and will continue to in the future. Everything was fixed and done correctly the first time..I didn’t need to call back and ask questions (like I unfortunately have to do when others work on my house) because I felt confident everything was done thoroughly. Upon arrival electrician spent too much time talking about himself. We needed to ceiling ballast replaced & he quoted us $3000! He also tried to talk us into supposedly other repairs we needed! I wouldn’t have paid him the $58 show up fee, but my husband did pay him $60 cash. And as expected electrician did not have change!!!! So we ended up paying Express $60. As Senior citizens on fixed income, my opinion of this company is a (negative) -10. We do not recommend unless you have money to waste!!

The worker George Correa was the best electrician I've experienced this year my house has never had any electricity or panel box upgrade he came in gave us the reality to do the whole property would be 48,000 but he also said there's a smaller option that we can do and that's only $4,000 and some and that's more manageable I like that he gave me both options he was kind courteous on time really cared about our situation and didn't just blow us off because we couldn't afford the larger job I like that he seemed very knowledgeable of his job made us feel comfortable with him being an electrician and doing the job one and done without having to come back and keep trying to do things on the slide he's the best electrician i ever come across so far in my lifetime please give him the best review possible if I could give him 10 Stars plus I would I also like on the day of the consultation he was kind enough to make sure that every circuit breaker was safe no wires were torn no circuit breaker was overheating and that everything was safe for the job whichever we chose to do and he seemed very very knowledgeable and once again he was just the kindest young electrician I've ever come across in my life so please give him this really good review

We are a Real Estate Team in the Porter Ranch area and Our Sellers contacted Express Electrical Services to address a few items that came up in the home inspection. After the initial job was completed there was one item that was one item we discussed over the phone with Express and they contacted their technician Hector to discuss and immediately rescheduled for the following day to come back to the property without any additional charge. Hector and Oscar were great! They came back to the property today and did a very detailed review of the issue and provided the Owners with two options. One was far less expensive and there was a great chance that it would resolve the issue so the owners were going to try this first. In the event the first option didn't resolve the issue Hector & Oscar provided a more detailed repair that they felt would definitely cure the problem if option #1 didn't work. Both Hector & Oscar arrived on time in a professionally wrapped company vehicle and were dressed professionally and treated both the home owner and myself with respect and tool the time to answer all of our questions. The final experience with Express Electrical was very good and much of this was due to dealing with Hector & Oscar who went above and beyond to make sure the owners understood the 2 options and were clear on the details. When you call into Express you speak with a main office and when we reached back out they are easy to reach and the scheduling department was able to connect us back with the tech so we could discuss the concern prior to him coming back out. Sometimes these situations just take a little understanding and team work and I highly recommend this company. You should request Hector and Oscar as the were fantastic. Thanks guys!

I am very happy I chose this 24-hr Express Electrical Services to service my mobile home partial electrical outage. They told me they would contact me as soon as a window was open.. Someone called the next morning. I received a text message with a picture of Oren. My home had to be rewired & circuit breaker box main switch was rusty & broken. On occasion by plugging in my portable heater in my bedroom.. No one could use the microwave in the kitchen or the lights would go out. Oren my technician listened as I was telling him the repeated problems. He explained the details down to the root of my issues. He gave me price ranged options all typed on his tablet explaining each one. He had all the parts to fix the problem. He knew exactly what he was doing. I built my trust in his work in less than 15 minutes. He let me know he was going on his lunch break & he will be right back. We lost all power except for two circuits in our home right after the recent rains. After having SCE check it we found that we were I going to need an electrician to fix whatever the problem was. I called Precision because of all the recent great reviews on Google and they did not disappoint. George came out and diagnosed the problem, clearly explained it to me and gave me three quoted options. George worked around our work schedule and still got our power back on very quickly. I called express electrical and they where very punctual on sending someone out as soon as possible. The technician they sent was Wallace Mejia he was very professional with his work. He came and inspected the whole house and told us he was going to give us numerous options on how we can go about our electrical problem. I was very impressed he gave us about 10 options and each was a different price. We ended up going with the one that best fit with our budget. He did a fantastic job and went beyond what he said. SCAM ALERT. I called them after my tenant reported an issue with their bedroom lights. Technician came out and offered three different options to repair. Pricing ranging from $1500 to $8000. All proposed work was insanely overpriced and not needed. This is not how electricians are supposed to be. Very predatory and unethical. Called another electrician and got the problem resolved for $150.00. I don’t write reviews but had to for this I feel I had to warn people. This is not me just having a bad experience, it’s a legitimate scam. Please stay away!!

Wanted to charge $800 to replace a fluorescent fixture for my elderly mom. Unbelievable! Cost me $50 and took me 65 min with travel time to Lowe’s.

I used this company today and while I believe they did the work correctly. They were grossly over priced. High end lawyers cost this much. Three and a half hours of work was about $1100. On the positive side they showed up the day after I called. I was told 9am and they arrived at noon though. The technician Aaron was great. My wife described him as professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. If he was an independent electrician I would use him again.

Frank did an excellent job in diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical wiring. Jenny helped me in getting a quality electrician. Hope, the manager followed up very professionally. Great work, though the charges of $591 for a 30 mins job was quite expensive. But I had to pay to assure my safety. Hope the company could lower the charges for future repairs. But I feel well served; I feel safe. Thanks again.

Incredible customer service - Very thorough work. Jesse and George came to our house, quickly diagnosed the issues, and clearly explained all our options. They were knowledgeable, very friendly, and miraculously had every thing solved that same day (we needed a full panel replacement and a short fixed - on the way the found another short, fixed that too, and were still done on time) A great and trustworthy team!

Well, the person that helped me was very professional and kind. But I mus warn you, that hindsight I realized I was overcharged at least by 700 percent. A simple replacement of electrical switches that took less than 20 minutes should not cost $760. dollars. In addition it was bogus when they said that they would apply the 70 dollar assessment fee to my final charge. This was total blatant overcharging, very similar to how a car mechanic will completely rip you for fixes you need. I needed my power back, so I could not wait, so I had fork over this ridiculous overcharge. I actually found out that I could have done it for less than $100. dollars.Yeah, if you want to be overcharged with ridiculous repair rates, that can run into thousands, then go ahead and hire Express Electrical Services and be prepared to have your wallet electrocuted. They will milk your funds dry if you are in a desperate situation.This was NOT the serviceman's fault, it's the company he works for. Lesson learned - this is why it pays to learn how to repair things like this yourself so you don't get milked. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

George spoke with my husband, who is an electrical engineer and explained the repair options and pricing. I only wish all service providers could be as timely, thorough and friendly. George offered to get food for my 92 year old Mom who lived in the unit without electricity for 12+ hours. On a rainy night, the main switch on our panel turned off and we couldn't get it back on. I called Express Electrical and Hope (who answered the phone) worked hard to find a tech to come over (at the time, all the technicians were busy). Shortly after, Aaron came and explained everything clearly to me, gave me options. It turned out our electical system was outdated and unsafe. He offered the option to fix the main switch (temporary solution) or get an entire new panel installed (and fix up/replace everything that was not up to code). My wife and I decided to go with the new system. He arrived the next morning and worked hard ALL DAY. He informed me when he was about to go on a lunch break (even offered to pick something up for me!). The next day, he arrived at 6:30am to continue the project, and finally on the third day (arrived at 7am), he worked over 12 hours to get everything just right. Aaron was extremely curtious, always took the time to explain what he was doing, and made sure I was satisfied with his work. There was a time in which he had to cut the power off from our home, but after explaining to him that it would be more convenient to us to do so when we weren't home, he arraged his work to match our schedule. He went above and beyond what we hoped for. I am very impressed by Aaron's work ethic!

I just have to leave this review of Express Electric. I called at 4:30p on a Saturday. They were very nice and understood my situation. 5:30p Aaron arrived to save the day. Aaron was very professional, polite, knowledgeable,and very confident he would find the problem. Electrical issues make me very nervous and Aaron was able to reassure me that he made safe until he returned the next morning to do the work. The Electrical box was arcing and overheating and 2 shorts in the house. He arrived and got to work. His work was clean an neat. Our family called Express Electric almost a year ago when we needed a new swamp cooler installed. We had called a few other places prior. However, Express Electric has a quick response time along with the required experience. Swamp coolers are becoming a thing of the past here in California as most people have central air so it’s not easy to find a company that are experienced with them.They sent Jay out from their team. Our experience with him has been absolutely wonderful! First off, when he came during the pandemic he did take safety precautions by wearing a mask and keeping his distance. He is very polite and is very clear and attentive about the work that needed to be done.He completely redid our electrical system panel as well as install a new breaker to our swamp cooler so that it wouldn’t interfere with our panel causing any trips- which we were having an issue with when my father installed the motor. He labeled everything making is easy for us to navigate when needed.Jay has gone above and beyond to help us. Unfortunately my father ordered the wrong motor so we could only use it on “low cool”. Jay then went online and sent us a link to order the new motor so that we can use it on “high cool” since we had no idea what to order. He old us once we had that part that he would come back to reinstall the new breaker (upgraded/ high voltage) that would coincide with our new motor.Almost a year later we got the correct/upgraded motor and called Express Electric to help us .We were nervous that he may not even work there anymore. Luckily, he does as he says that he enjoys the company that he works for. They sent Jay out the following day and he has kept his word and has done a great job working on our electrical issues and we couldn’t be more grateful.The company operating staff is also very friendly, quick, and responsive which I appreciate. The technicians were curious and professional. However the company overcharged us by over $3,000.The company refuses to give our home insurance adjuster what they continually asked for. I spoke to a Christina who was more then rude and basically stated it was my problem. They wanted to charge me $17,000 to replace our circuit breaker that got damaged by a faulty light socket. Instead they acted like they did us a favor by charging us $9,000. We had to go through a financial company they use to get the work started. Express Electrical got paid the $9,000 they quoted and now I have to fight them to give my adjuster the simple information needed so I can get some of the work covered. Express continually refused to give the information needed that our adjuster based on the info they did provide informed us we were overcharged more then $3,000. How is that not right!! I will never recommend them not even to my worst enemy. They're thieves and take advantage of people. I'm going to continue to call them and soon going to get legal representation. All my adjuster needs is a break down of the work done to determine that in fact a faulty light socket caused our breakers to burn out. My home was in danger of causing a fire. I have 2 young children living in the home.I don't recommend then to anyone. Who overcharges a customer by $3000? That's just wrong. If I have to find the owner I will do so. Or if my attorney gets a court order for them to provide my adjuster with what he needs I can finally put this nightmare behind us.

George was very profesional and nice. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of questions in detail. George fixed a breaker and labeled our panel completely. His work was very clean. He took his time to ensure everything was labeled properly and walked us through everything. We are very happy with Express Electrical Services and with the work George did. Aaron came out to fix some outlets (a short apparently) and he was so nice! It took a while to fine the short (as it always does) but he fixed it quickly and even fixed a minor issue that we've had along the way. Would love to have him back for any future issues we run into.

Alex.K arrive early in the morning, installed all of the wiring and new panel in less than one day. He explained everything he had done and what w needed to do to follow up with the city. We are very happy to have everything working again. The wiring was 70 years old and now everything has been upgraded to new condition. We are happy to have taken care of this so rapidly.. We recommend him highly.

My tenant called them to fix an electrical switch at my rental house in the Hollywood Hills. They charged a $79 service charge to come look at the problem. Upon inspection, they advised that the dimmer switch needed to be replaced and they quoted me $600 to replace the dimmer switch. I checked online and the dimmer switch itself is $25 Retail. It would have taken 15 minutes longer MAX for him to replace the switch. My regular electrician (licensed) charged me $150 to do the job. You tell me - does this sound like a reputable company? The electrician who works for the Company apologized but said that is what they charge for the job. I guess they charge $500/hour for their work. Sorry - this is just not right.

I went online and found express electrical services to rewire and update my entire home. The rating was, impressive I gave them a call. A previous company abandoned the job, whereas express electrical came in and did an outstanding job! Robert Duran came to my home with an awesome personality, he showed great leadership in explaining the job and gave a thorough estimate. They were professional, timely, efficient, and courteous to answer the many questions I had. I truly admired them on how neat their work was. I recognize exemplary customer services experience with Robert, Jesse, and Ramon their work was excellent. The quality of their work showed in the attitude they represented together in teamwork. Alex was great.. the prices not so much. Alex identified the issue and made the repair. Really good guy. The prices are exceptionally high but when you need it fixed now and have been shoved off for a couple of days by others. It all comes down to getting the lights back on and not catching fire.

Jesse and Frank were terrific!. They did everything quickly, competently, and neatly. We thought we would be without power for ages, but actually it was only one day. They were very professional and answered any of our questions. They were more than willing to help with moving boxes in our garage to get to the areas they needed. We highly recommend them, and will be asking for them if we need any other electrical work.6/23/21 As a follow-up, an outlet that originally was installed was the incorrect voltage. When notified about this, the company sent out George Carrea, who was fantastic. He was prompt, knowledgeable and a very hard worker. He worked all day to complete the job and added the necessary breaker, wire and 240 outlet at no charge. This company clearly stands behind its employees and its work.

When I would turn on too many appliances at the same time it would shut off my whole kitchen over and over again. When Robert opened the panel he realized that there were only 5 circuits for the whole house!! And the problem that kept shutting my kitchen off was not only burning the wires, but burning the panel also. Very Dangerous!!!! Robert then gave me multiple options so that I wouldn't be obligated to one price. I really liked that he had 6 options that I could choose from. I chose the price that was best suitable for me. So he and his very kind and respectful helper, Jessie, were able to add more circuits to my kitchen area to prevent the problem. Has anyone else in West Hollywood had service refused after an appointment was booked b/c the live in condominium building? After spending a fair amount of time on call explaining the job, explaining the building size (24 condo), and scheduling the appointment we received a follow up call saying they don't accept job in condo buildings. It was definitely very odd, especially b/c it was just a job to install two outlets.

Called after hours and was helped by Hope and other very nice ladies. Had an appointment for the next morning and response time was great. Wallace made it out to my house and was able to assess and take care of the issue promptly.

Technician Josh was very attentive and made sure he explained thoroughly what was causing my breaker to short out. He also made recommendations to upgrade based on home additions I plan to made in near future. My home is 110 years old and his recommendations were well received.

Jacob and his crew arrived as promised at 10am, they made sure to wear masks and shoe covers. They had everything in place and started working within 20 minute of arrival. They didn't waste any time and worked all day to complete the job. They made sure to clean up everything that needed to be cleaned up. They installed a dedicated line for the outlet that needed to be replaced and installed 4 new switches. They even finished early; I would recommend Express Electrical to anyone that needs electrical work done.

The repairman Jesse did an outstanding job in our home. We had a bad wire that burnt a hose that caused an explosion and burnt the wall. He replaced wires, put in a new plug, put in a electrical sub panel. When he was done he not only repaired the wall, put stucco and an outstanding job but he painted it!! I was very impressed with his workmanship, integrity, he was very nice. When he arrived at my home I was skeptical because so many workers in my past did such a bad job but when Jesse was done I wanted to cry because I was so happy with the job he did! I lost power Father’s Day weekend which was just terrible timing for the heat and I was unable to get anyone to call me back let alone show up for an emergency call and then I found Express Electrical Services. They came out same day and confined my mains breaker was dead and presented me with options. They then hardwired the power to get me back online and started work that evening. They returned each day after bright at early and were super professional. The new box is great, they labeled everything, and even took time to play with my new puppy on breaks. Still waiting for city inspectors before they can really finish the cleanup work but I have faith they will do just as good or a job there. Express Electrical Services did an excellent job both in analyzing our system breakdown and refurbishing our electric panel. Their responsveness and the quality of their work are outstanding. Unfortunately, their prices are ultra-expensive, even in the current super-charged environment.

Express lives up to their name. They sent someone here within an hour. Alex was great. He answered all of my questions very thoroughly and explained everything very clearly. We had to have our entire breaker panel replaced and relocated, and he and his team did so with us going very little time without power. We absolutely plan to call them again next time we need any work done.

Very pleasant and easy to work with, walked me step by step through what they did which involved completely replacing the whole house surge protector. They explained that it was necessary because not only was unit at maximum age but had been installed incorrectly by the original people. The only reason for my 5-star review was Raul. Raul was freaking awesome. Great rep, did great work. No complaints there. My issue was the cost. Because I was in an emergency situation, I had to pay what it cost to get my power back on, and feel I was grossly overcharged. I spent 2-weeks salary on a fix that took 35ish minutes. If you are not in an emergency situation, do yourself a favor and shop around first.

We had an emergency in a very old home. I called Express and they were at our home within an hour. Carlos was professional, kind and thorough. While there is a lot of work needed, there was no pressure to commit. He had our electricity on within 2 hours and the fee was quite reasonable. Highly recommend!

Alex.K was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about my electricity needs. He came out the next day after half of my home power shut off. He took the time to explain every detail so I had a good understanding of what was needed, and presented it to me in ways I could easily understand. I needed to upgrade my entire panel and relocate it to meet city code. I never felt rushed whenever I asked questions or needed clarification. Alex.K made sure he didn’t leave me without a running fridge (he connected an extension cord so my food wouldn’t go bad, and he taped it to my floor to prevent anyone tripping) and followed up with me the next day, just as he promised. He also called me the evening before he was scheduled to work to confirm his arrival time, which was exactly the time he said it would be. This was an emergency repair of a fan that was out of control and we couldn’t turn it off. We called at 11 pm and immediately got a response that was professional, friendly, and supportive. While there was no one available (it was almost midnight) an electrician contacted us first thing in the morning. He arrived promptly, was courteous and attending right away to the problem. He wore a mask and dust covers on his shoes and was respectful of Covid protocol. After assessing the problem he showed us three options on his iPad (including the costs involved) and once we chose he left to purchase a new fan. He was back in a quick fashion and installed it for us. His work was clean, expertly installed, and he explained the operation of the fan to us. The electrician’s name was Oren and I have saved his card because he will be our electrician of choice from now on. I highly recommend this company.

Daniel did an excellent job on my bathroom fan replacement and the installation of some track lighting. The track lighting had a couple of potential challenges that we didn't see going in. But there he came up with a smart workaround.Daniel even helped with stuff that was above and beyond what I asked. He followed up with a basic cleanup of the plaster dust. So I'm giving him 5 stars.

We had an emergency situation resulting from a small electrical fire. We needed a company that could help us fast as we have 2 small children. Alex K. and his team were fast and efficient. An electric outlet repaired by Powell Electric last April failed. I called Powell, who referred Express Electrical to do the work. Hector and Oscar from Express arrived quickly, and their first question to me was whether there was a warranty in place? It had not occurred to me, and they could have proceeded to do the work for Express at a cost to me of several hundred dollars when the Powell warranty was, indeed, still in effect for just one more month. Words cannot express how impressed I was with these two gentleman and the ethics they exhibited, both personally and as representatives of Express Electrical. I recommend them highly.

Had an amazing experience with Express Electrical Services, our tech Jay provided us with an easy to understand breakdown of the problem and 7 different solutions (varying in price).Our dishwasher somehow overloaded a circuit in the kitchen and caused an electrical fire, no break went off or anything, very scary to think what would have happened if we weren't home. Express Electrical were able to come out the next morning and investigate to find out the previous owners never hooked that circuit up to the breaker or layed a ground wire. After picking our repair option Jay got to work and completed an amazing job fixing our circuit, panel, and installing a new ground wire. REVISED REVIEW: They started out great but there was a miscommunication when it was time to get the city inspector to sign off and approve the work. The scheduling team didn't notify the workers on the schedule, the inspector came without us knowing and we didn't pass. We made several attempts to contact the workers, or dispatchers and only after a scathing online review did they respond. Once we got their attention, they came and finished the job. We got the work approved by the city inspector.They did great work, but there were some moments of frustration. In the end, it all worked out.UPDATE: Several years have now passed and we had a power issue. I called them back up and they did a complete recheck. It turned out to be the power company- loose line. Back up to 5 stars!!

Franco and his team were amazing for me. My house was built in the 1960s and had an addition that was done very poorly so the wiring was quite a mess. I did go for the higher end option for 200 on panel and that everything was going to get up to code but I think by far that was my best investment I’ve done in years. Uknown to us, we were experiencing a short in one of the switches in our panel. We didn't realize what was happening until we had multiple days of issues with our electricity turning on and off in our kitchen and in our living room. I found Jorge and this company through the internet. Jorge was at my house with in 3 hours of my initial call and had the problem diagnosed in under 30 minutes. He then outlined his plan for how he would repair the breaker panel and gave me an estimate right away. We got to use the 20% discount that is listed online and set a time for 7:00 a.m. the next morning. Not only was he here by 7:00 a.m., he had originally said it would take until almost noon to get all of the work done. He was finished by 10:30. Completely finished. The new panel is beautifully organized and clean. He increased the amperage on our breakers. This is especially important because we have a hospital bed and oxygen in our house. The entire time, Jorge maintained mask wearing and glove wearing. He was careful to wear booties over his shoes when he entered our house. He did everything he could to protect us while he had to do his work. I'm truly blown away by his professionalism and how quickly he did his job. I highly recommend Jorge and his services!

We are literally just finishing up a visit and I cannot get on here fast enough to give feedback. We had discovered one of our carriage lights were out and it turned out the power was out on that outlet. Our regular electrician was not available until Monday so we tried getting someone out sooner! The technician came out and quoted us $2200 to fix the main issue but told us our whole system was bad. Quoted us over $17000 for the full fix. Although we may need an upgrade the electrical was upgraded in the late 90’s, so it’s not terribly old. He also left didn’t put everything back as it was. Very disappointing!! Sad part is that we have two neighbors who are looking for an electrician to set up charging stations and where waiting to see the results of this visit and the estimate! Sorry Express, you cost yourselves more than what you were trying to squeeze out of us!! The reviews here are a bunch of BS, if this is the service they provide!

Fast, efficient, friendly, expensive. They record your call at the end to make sure you don’t come back and complain about price or anything else later. Makes me uncomfortable but the job got done quickly and the electrician was friendly and safe.

Franco came to save the day and our night! Our main circuit breaker gave out on us at 6pm in the middle of the week. Could not have been at a worse time, after hours when everything is closed! Express Electrical Services were there just when we needed them. We were very cautious about who to trust to do electrical work on our house. We gave them a call only after reading all their stellar reviews. They did not disappoint, everyone from the customer service desk, to dispatcher to the electrician were extremely professional and made us feel like we were in good hands. Franco came right away and had our house up and running in 2 hours. He was courteous, professional and extremely thorough with explaining to us what had gone wrong and the work he had done. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any work. And if your lights go out after hours when all others are closed these are the guys you can trust with your home.

Superlative service from Mr. Kavoosi. Prompt, on time, on task and extremely helpful in explaining any and all details of the job. Mr. Kavoosi was as scrupulous and aboveboard this time out as he was last time. He explained how the installation we had done was so shoddily assembled it was in violation of a number of safety codes. We learned a lesson about better vetting general contractors and Mr. Kavoosi helped ensure our mistake would be short-lived. We cannot praise his work enough. Five stars.Update (1/14/22)This last job was for installing new lighting and ventilation for our two bathrooms. Once again, the work was impeccable. Express Electrical gave us a two hour window for the electrician to arrive. They sent the name And picture of the electrician and Jesse arrived shortly after the beginning of the window. It was a great pleasure working with Oren! He was able to identify the source of my power failure within 15 minutes and gave me a detailed explanation, including pictures he took of the damage. He fixed the probelm within a couple of hours and thoroughly checked the house to make sure everything was working properly. He wore shoe covers while he was in the house and that made me very happy! Rob was very helpful and professional. He checked the light ballast to verify that it was working properly, replaced the fluorescent bulbs and recommended some different size that work better than the ones that I have currently.He also fixed a porch light that had been installed incorrectly.Rob is a great person and I truly appreciate his work.

Our technician was George Correa and he was absolutely amazing. The main breaker went out on our panel late on a Saturday afternoon, so no power at all. We called Express Electric and George was at our house within the hour. Our panel was an old one but he was able to locate a replacement breaker and drove two cities away to pick it up, he installed the replacement main breaker which involved some challenges due to the age of the system. He also saw that one of the sub breakers was also broken which explained why our dryer connection had no been working, so he fixed that too. As a courtesy he checked all the outlets in the house to make sure they were connected properly and on his way out he noticed that a heavy duty switch face plate in our garage was broken (had been for years) so he fixed that too!. He explained everything and the costs were very reasonable for the work that was completed. George was friendly and professional, we will definitely call Express Electrical in the future.

We used Express Electrical Services to upgrade our electrical panel and run replacement 240v wire to support a new electric range we purchased. Carlos and Hector from Express were very professional, friendly and thorough. They walked us through every step of the process and the end result is outstanding. The fit and finish of the new panel upgrade is great, and each breaker was mapped out to document where the power goes to. When we realized that the electric range delivery service gave us the wrong cord type for the range, Carlos and Hector went out of their way and obtained the correct one. They installed the cord, new 240v outlet and also replaced a 120v GFIC that had an issue too. The entire job was accomplished in a day.

It was very nice to have the options available for our consideration before making any decisions. George came out about 2 hours after we called for a faulty breaker. We decided to change the faulty breaker and add one more dedicated 20 amp breaker to decrease the load on a single breaker. The Electrician that came out on Tuesday was extremely helpful and seemed very knowledgeable. Express even offered 12 month, 0% financing, it all worked out very well. As for the work that was done, it was top notch and I am extremely happy with all of the fixtures that needed to be installed.The Electrician I had that day was Franco and he was really nice and accommodating. Even returned a few days later at no extra charge to replace a faulty lighting fixture. I would have no problem recommending this company to family and friends.

Our power went out in our kitchen and our attempts to flip to breaker back on like we’ve done previously were in vain because it kept triggering. We called Express Electrical Services and J.R. Hernandez came to our home just a little over an hour after our call. Our initial faulty breaker problem turned into some much-needed electrical work and J.R. did a superb job. I hired Express Electrical on a Saturday night to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems my handyman found when I wanted all electrical outlets and switches replaced in my 40 year old condo. Rob with Express arrived the next morning— on a Sunday. The price was much more than I anticipated, but I’m extremely satisfied with the service. I could have found someone to repair it at a lower cost, but I wanted it done RIGHT and there were various problems that needed remediated. I had faith Rob would fix everything. He arrived when he said he would, he was thoughtful, thorough, and explained what needed to be done. He took a long time evaluating the problems before he calculated the quote. He also installed canned lighting in the bedroom which was an add on to my original request. I will use Express in the future and I will ask for Rob. I now have peace of mind. Great Job!!

Jesse came out yesterday and assessed all the problems with the outlets throughout my whole house. He presented me with quite a few options and we settled on one. We were happy with. He said he would return early in the morning and was on time and began right away. It took a little longer than expected but that was due to Jesse & George making sure every outlet was both safe and working properly. Both men were very professional and went above and beyond in many different areas of their expertise at my home. They double-check everything and then asked me to provide a triple check for them as well just to make sure that everything was to professional standards and then to my liking and that it was working properly and there was no issues that would compromise it in any way. They both provided constant communication with me throughout the whole day and throughout the whole process I am very pleased with what they've done and I would definitely recommend them especially Jesse and George to anyone who might have any kind of electrical issues that might need to be taken care of.

I called on a Friday evening at 5 PM as I needed an electrician out to my mothers house, it was an emergency. The wiring was faulty and Robert got out there and made sure my moms house was safe for the evening and then came back the next two days and finished the job. Express Electrical Services did a great job on our repairs. We did not know what our exact issue was as power was on in half the house and out in other half. I contacted this company and they were prepared to come out the same day. We opted for next day and Oren came out the following day bright and early ready to work. I stumbled onto this company, and am very grateful that I did. Jacob came out and gave me an estimate immediately. I almost fell over, but I was so impressed by his review of what needed to be done and just his general professional demeanor that I said what the hell and went for it. He and his partner Raoul, did about 80 percent of the work and another man came out to finish the crown molding and recessed box to convert from fluorescent light fixtures. They were very adept at handling unexpected contingencies- no extra costs, no drama. They even bought a special bit in order to perform the work more efficiently. Super professional team, yet very pleasant and friendly. They cleaned up everything they could each night before they left so I wasn't left living in dust for a week. I could write a small book about the experience, but I'll just say that my experience with this company was 'as good as it gets'. Worth the money.

The dispatch office kept me informed of when they were coming and any updates via text. The technician that came out, Franco Magdaleno, was prompt and thorough. I was presented with what it would take to fix it and also an option to upgrade and get it done right. I chose to go with the full fix and Franco and his team had it done 2 days later. Danny arrived at our scheduled time and explained the entire process right away. He is very courteous and friendly. Danny kept me informed at the various steps of the installation and was very careful both inside and outside our house. He is such a skillful and efficient professional that the only evidence that he worked on the house is my new solar attic fan on the roof.

My main panel was burned. I called Express and Alex showed up in less than 1 hour and gave me a few options to fix the panel. I had him change everything inside the panel. Surprisingly he had all parts and material in his van, and finished all work the same day. And this was on a Sunday! He didn't charge xtra for the weekend call. Fantastic job! We called Express Electrical because we lost power to part of our kitchen, and scheduled an appointment for a service technician to check it out. Jacob Sanchez came out that Saturday, inspected the power source, and gave us 3 options to correct the problem. Jacob was very informative and we selected the best course of action for us, which was to have the whole kitchen re-wired. The work was scheduled to accommodate our schedule for the following Saturday/Monday. Jacob told us he would be sending Franco Magdaleno, who was the best choice to get the job done in the time frame that worked for us. We were very pleased that Franco and his crew were able to complete the work in one day, and cleaned up after themselves. Franco walked us through and explained everything he was going to do and again when the the job was completed. He also gave us suggestions and recommendations that would be cost effective/energy efficient for us. We would highly recommend the company based on our experience with Franco and Jacob, and will definitely ask for Franco for any future electrical work we consider having done.

We had an emergency electrical issue. Express sent out Jesse Hernandez our hero. Jesse was professional, cheerful and respectful to us. Jesse did not talk down to us and explained every step of what needed to be done. We were given three price points based on how we wanted to approach our issues. The men were polite and clean in their work. It was stressful for me due to the unexpected expense. But Jesse made the experience pleasant. Any future issues, we will be calling Express and asking for Jesse.

They were friendly and more than accommodating! We got a confirmation within min of when our technician was to arrive. They sent a text with his name, picture and bio which made me feel really comfortable knowing who was coming. Rob arrived and was so pleasant and professional. UPDATE: I was contacted by email from someone at Express Electrical who said they would call to further discuss my experience, but have yet to hear from them. Also, apparently they offer a 20% discount to seniors which I was not offered.We had power go out to a circuit in our home and needed to find an electrician quickly. Express Electrical Services was one of the first listed on a Google search for our area in Long Beach. We were happy that an electrician was available that morning. His name was JR Hernandez. He was courteous, wore a mask and protective covering on his shoes. He found the problem fairly quickly (a burned out circuit breaker). The electrical panel is old and out of date but still works and isn't a hazard. JR provided quotes for various repair options. All quotes seemed very high from the cheapest at $809.98 (including a 10% first time customer discount) simply to replace the burned our circuit breaker, a job that took about an hour to diagnose and fix, to over $11,000 to replace the electrical panel. In the heat of the moment we felt we needed to get the job done quickly so reluctantly authorized the cheapest option but we regret making that decision in haste. We have since talked to an electrician who worked for the City of Long Beach who said he would have done the job for a quarter of the cost! The discount for a first time customer is a joke since we would NEVER consider hiring this company again. We feel we've been taken advantage of. I can't imagine this company staying in business for long given the ire business model of swindling customers. I wish we had read the reviews before getting the job done.

I am very impressed and pleased with their service. To be honest, I am always skeptical and reluctant to get any good service for anything for home maintenance related, especially for electrical work as a single female household. This company is a joke, I scheduled an appointment over a week ago they called me non stop everyday to confirm the appointment and I either answered and confirmed or called back 2 mins after to confirm. I gave them detailed information about the job every time nothing changed. For them to call to confirm hang up.. just to call back and cancel THE DAY OF because apparently they don’t do the electrical job I needed which was just to connect power to a sign. What’s funny is first their excuse was we don’t go on roofs that are 25 feet up. (It’s 15 feet high) to another call back oh we don’t do that kind of job. So either they didn’t want to do the job and kept finding excuses 30 mins before their appointment that I have scheduled a week in advanced and talked to almost everyone that worked there to confirm with the same details I gave since day one. To “oh we can’t do that job” I’m sorry but I will no longer give this company any business nor talk highly of them. They are a joke and a complete waste of time.

Recently had Express Electrical come to my home to try and diagnose a very odd electrical issue I was having. After 20 minutes of the tech looking through my main and sub panels he came back and told me I had a voltage drop but he didn't know where, but he had 3 options. The first option was a $11,000 overhaul of my entire main panel. The second was a $6,000 repair and the third was a $4,000 repair. How can he have given me repair estimates without even knowing the problem? I explained to the tech if the repair was going to be that much I would have to go through my home warranty. He then tried to convince me that I should just authorize him to do the repairs and the home warranty would reimburse me. I told him that is not the way home warranty companies work. But then he had a fourth option, he could give me temporary power for $1,100. How could he give me temporary power if he still didn't know what the problem was? I paid the $50.00 for the service call and thanked him for his time. The next day I called the people who installed my solar and they sent someone out to see what was happening. Come to find out it was a corroded main breaker that was $350.00. I cant believe the way this company tried to rip me off. I live in a nice house and the tech thought he saw an easy mark. Stay away from this company.

Had just gotten moved in when we had some issues with our sub panel. Should have gotten others out to provide quotes because Express was significantly higher than national average for same work. Blamed cost on supply issue from China for Siemans components that are made in Grand Prarie, TX and or Mexico. Finished product satisfactory but would definitely have other licensed people in to bid job. There is no way that installing 2 gfci outlets would be $800 parts are $15-20 and time to install and test say 1 hour so $760/hr for labor is quite high

False advertising at its finest. I booked an apt with this company for a same day service. Their website states 57.95 for their technician to come and and diagnose the issue, which I was fine to pay (time is is money), but then they call me back and tell me it’s going to cost $399 (not including parts/labor) for a technician just to come out since I told them I removed the outlet cover and noticed the outlet wasn't grounded and I wanted a professional to come inspect all my outlets and get them up to code.

Customer service was great and they even called me a few days before my actual appointment to let me know they had an earlier slot open. I agreed, and they showed up in 15 mins. I lost power on one side of the house. The technicians came with masks on and protection for there shoes. They identified the problem pretty quick and the power came back on. They put everything back and cleaned up. They did exactly what they were suppose to do, and explained everything before they left. Thank you Hector and Oscar.

Carlos and Alex did a fantastic job installing recess lights, replacing the ceiling fan and relocating several outlets. They were punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Alex K was fantastic and I would definitely use his services again. As someone who knows very little about electrical work, he patiently walked me through everything and exactly what he was going to do to fix the problem. And the same-day fix is great.

Carlos and Raul were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I initially called regarding the wiring issues for two ceiling fans. After complete inspection it was determined that I had other issues related to previous electrically services with another company and living in old house. After all work was completed they left the house in good condition. I am thankful the first Electrican I called was too busy to make an appointment with me.I appreciate the time and patience Carlos and Raul provided with explaining the issues and recommendations.

Wallace was our electrician. He knew exactly what he was doing what he was going to do he was quick professional and down to earth which I like a lot also noted electricity you did a great fantastic excellent job and I would recommend him highly and his company I don’t know about the other electrician but I’m sure they’re good quality however I do know was very friendly courteous and professional and got the job done I had an infection in the next morning and thank goodness he stayed until very late at night because he came in the evening for me but short notice give a job the company sent him out with a short notice he did the job and he Did everything that needed to be done by Code in every other aspect. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating was because of how many times we had to reschedule an appointment for a technician to show up in the time frame they gave us. Franco was very personable and answered every question that I had while providing excellent service. He came right in fixed everything in less than 30min. Really good guy. My initial statement has no reflection of Franco’s professionalism. In fact, he would be the reason I would consider using them again.

Our interior and exterior light of our garage stopped working, along with the electric garage door lift and the outlet. As this has happened before, we called Express Electrical Services. It is clear that the last electrician we called simply put a quick fix on our problem. My wife called Express Electrical on a Saturday and was received with a polite and professional person who helped her coordinate an appointment with one of their technicians. On Monday, Daniel H. texted his approximate time of arrival and an official picture of himself. He arrived within the stated hours (10am-12pm), and quickly located the problem: a faulty breaker. He stated that this could be part of a larger problem with the entire unit. I feel that he was truthful about this since a prior electrician had also focused on the breaker box. Daniel, however, went further and showed me some damage to the breakers that were from electric arching. Together, we decided on a larger repair that replaced all the breakers inside the unit. Although Daniel offered 4-5 options for repair, I decided on this one because the arching was a fire hazard. We did not feel pressured or rushed in our decision. While this was not a inexpensive choice, my wife and I feel that it was the safe choice. Daniel had to get the parts at the supply house and returned the next day ready to work. He was quick, clean, and insightful. He included us in every part of the process, and answered every question we asked him. He was dressed in a uniform, wore a face mask (Covid precaution), and had truck full of supplies. As a result, we are very happy with the service we received from Express Electrical Services and Daniel in particular. Thank you!!!

Called express to install hard wire smoke detectors through out the home in the process of the installation became a visual cosmetic problem. I called express and spoke to Mario he advise me he would take care of the issue had someone over the next day and had everything redone perfectly.Had another tech come in and reinspect the work done , great job gentlemen thanks for the good service provided

I needed a additional circuit added to my garage to suppot a Freezer. I called Express Electrical services and scheduled an electrian. The Eletrician showed up promptly, advised me of options and executed the job in one day. He additionally identified issues with my existing box and sub-panel. I highly recommend the company

Ken did a very nice job fixing my apartment's neutral wire. Super quick in getting the job done.
