Dave and Caesar were my servicemen and they were great. They replaced my old outlets, replaced a bad transformer in one of my kitchen lights and put in a new outlet for the outdoor tv that I plan to put in. They were able to install the new outlet even in the rain. Whenever I have an electrical issue, I always call Powell Electric. Their service is great and they are very responsive.

I am long overdue writing this review. I have used this company for several years. It started when I needed to have two electrical panels replaced on a Santa Monica property that has a house and 3 one-bedroom apartment units in back. I interviewed 5 other companies at that time and felt the most confident hiring this company. They did an excellent job with the panel replacements. Since that time, I have had 3 bathroom exhaust fan installations done on the same property (the buildings were so old that the bathroom never had fans). The most recent installation was done in the house bathroom. It wasn't an easy installation because the house was built in 1930, has lath and plaster walls and ceilings with no access to the attic. They had to route the exhaust duct for the fan through the outside wall through the stucco. The house bath just had a light fixture in the ceiling, now it has a combination light/heater/exhaust fan. The job turned out quite well.

Knowledgable electrician Jonathan came to put up a chandelier and to repair a faulty wall light switch. He was personable, positive &super-careful not to burden me with helping him (but I was fine w helping).

I was very pleased with Alex & Alex (family business). It was actually junior Alex who took my call and ultimately made the repairs. On the phone I explained my problem (flickering lights in two different rooms) and Alex explained what the service call would cost and what they would do for that price. When I asked when they could come out, he shocked me by saying in about an hour, after his current job. Shocked at how soon he could come, I booked him. Sure enough, he arrived in about an hour, diagnosed the problem (bad switches), replaced both of them, and: took a look at another non-working light and made a suggestion for repair or replacement, recommended I replace my existing under cabinet halogen puck lights with LED lights to save electricity, and gave me the link to the bulbs I could install myself. He also pointed out my current (40 year old panel) needed replacement (something I knew from two of my neighbors), and gave me an estimate for the job. The actual repair for the two switches was only an additional $25, and I was satisfied with the total price. I compared his price for replacing my electrical panel and it was competitive with what my neighbors paid, so I'll probably use Alex & Alex.for that job too.

I have used several times over the last 6 years and have always been glad with the work provided. They are responsive when I call, show up when they say and I feel their project is done in a professional manner. We have had them run work underground between our home to a garage, install wiring/lights in a garage, install outdoor fixtures and make numerous repair calls for things that fail in our 44 year old home. I recommend them to my neighbors and have heard back that they are as pleased as we are.

I needed to replace e ceiling light fixture (small and weighing light). When I made the appointment by phone, I was treated nicely by the representative. However, when I inquired about a range-estimate, I was told that the electrician would be the one estimating it, not them. Not true, when the electrician came he actually called in to GET an estimate according to a booklet that they use. For a job with no complications, that might have taken less then an hour, I was asked for $392. I felt ambushed and very disappointed. I don't know of any service that cannot at least give you a rough estimate. I do not recommend this company at all. This said, the electrician who came out was very kind, understanding, and concerned, but this speaks about him as a person and not about the company.

Our warehouse was destroyed by fire, and my company had to construct a new one from scratch. Power Pro Electric & Solar impressed me when we were looking for the best team members for this project. We weren't just looking for skilled electricians here; we were also looking for people with top qualities who were hard workers and motivated. HR is not to be trusted here. I was harassed and no formal documents to prove it when I complained. Was reduced pay,randomly drug screened and eventually terminated for retaliation. Great for getting experience at the cost of being humiliated. Passed the drug screen BTW

Scott did an inspection on a condo for me. He was professional, thorough, and knowledgable.

We have returned to Steve several times for projects at our house. He is reliable, solution oriented and clean. Also a nice guy, and good with our dogs!

We had the breaker for our air conditioner go out and needed to have it replaced. Steve was at our house in a about ten minutes and replaced the breaker with a new one. He was friendly and knowledgeable we would use him again in the future and recommend his service.

Jose and Julio came out and made recommendations regarding outdoor lighting which sounded reasonable. They completed the work in a couple of hours and cleaned up. All works perfectly. Very reasonable price. Great company and staff!
