Best Smoke in Austin TX

Used twice, once for GFCI outlet replacement and again to replace our living room ceiling fan/light with recessed lighting and fan only. Excellent prices and service.

Late night last week, only my refrigerator goes out so I check the breaker and sure enough, it's been tripped. I flipped it and after 10-15 mins it kept triggering. I asked the residents in our building if anyone else had this issue and two other tenants replied yes and to call Max. So I did! I needed a pro and I wanted to be confident in who I chose for stuff like this. They came highly recommended and fast. When they arrived, they were so incredibly NICE!!!! Cost wise (because I do my research) excellent!! Now as I leave my review, I can see why everyone loves Max Electric.

Dan did a great job and fast. He replaced some outdated lights with new LEDs and they look great. Highly recommend.

Eric Felan and field Electricians Brian Laney and Dustin did an excellent job for a commercial job that we needed on very short notice. We understand many companies are often backlogged and are unable to perform jobs on short notice, so we don't expect Dial One to always be able to react so fast...but we're thankfully that they did this time!We were basically stood up by another electric company that had very poor communication skills, but we won't bash that company, instead we just want highlight how well Dial One communicated with us, promptly came out to survey the job, and then executed the job. Brian and Dustin were professional and had great customer service!The work we needed was to replace 4 old school light fixtures with 6 energy saving LED lights, all on a 33 foot ceiling. These guys were initially willing to do the job on a short scissor lift, but at the last minute we were able to rent a 32 foot lift to make job safer and more do-able.Our lights look great and the job these guys did was excellent. I definitely recommend this company and I will reach back out to them for future jobs we may have.

OMG! These guys were great. They came promptly to give me a bid. It was super easy to get the job scheduled. They showed up on time and did their work with as little disruption to my home as possible. I would definitely use them again and will be sure to recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician!Update: Two years later after the above original post I had an electrical issue and had Morningstar come back. They were again amazing! I thought the issue was with the electrical connection. Morningstar took the time to figure out the machine was defective and not the electrical wiring. They spent all that time figuring out it was my machine not the electrical connection and did not charge me extra for their time. If you have an electrical need. Make sure you call Morningstar!

ATX Elec. was fantastic to work with. I had a very uncommon (so far) need of for a generator manual transfer switch where my F-150 Powerboost acts as the generator. Some electricians were very slow to come and talk to me about it and some essentially hung up the phone when I told them that the F-150 was the generator.ATX Elec. was excited for the project once I explained what I was doing. They sent out a tech in just a couple of days to review what was needed and started the work on the spot! After working through a few issues they were able to get my manual transfer switch up and running and I couldn't be happier. No more power outages for me!ATX Elec. was was, professional, and ready to tackle something new. I really appreciate their help.

I used Bryant for a large remodel i was performing on my home in Austin. I work for a construction company and we have used Bryant on many jobs previously. I was just informed this morning that they would not longer be obligating their contract as they have mismanaged (their words) the project and were no longer making money. I have a half finished home, no electrical service, and no options other than to hire a new electrical contractor. I would not use them as their new management does not honor their obligations or try to offer solutions other than quit.

Colvin was extremely fast with same day service after being called. Ivan with Colvin Electric was wonderfully nice and knowledgable. He corrected an electrical problem in our new home and was very good about explaining why it was an issue to begin with. I highly recommend Colvin Electric when you have an electrical issue.

Neal and his team did a great job in getting out electrical system back in order! We had a lot of flickering lights and power issues. I noticed the electrical panels were still original to the home (early 80's) and asked him to replace them. He did that, got everything labeled, and also took care of a busted up dimmer switch for no extra charge! Would recommend him.
