These guys are amazing! Darin called me back quickly after I left a message. I was desperate for someone to come out the same day for a new water heater install where the plumber was unsure of how safe the aluminum wiring was for the connection. I called at least 5 other electricians, but Max Electrical were the only ones to offer to come out and look at my water heater connection within an hour.They evaluated it and said they could do what was needed for a couple hundred, which I was thrilled about because I was already spending so much money on the water heater installation and needed to be able to turn it on. They got the job completed within a few hours, professionally and reasonably while explaining everything to me.Darin even swung by my place before the original ETA to talk to the plumber, see what was needed and leave equipment for his crew coming later. I can't recommend them enough! Now we have hot showers again and I am incredibly thankful. Thanks to DJ and Chris, too!

We called Molitor Electric for the first time a year ago, after enduring several years of lights flickering, breaker switches going off at bad times (when is there a good time?) and network losing connection. Dan Molitor diagnosed the fairly extensive problems, including the fact that our electricity was fluctuating on and off. That's why my ovens (microwave as well as stove) took so much longer to cook everything than they should have. Dan and his team handled everything, diligently and efficiently. And when a city employee caused a delay, which resulted in a power outage for hours, Claudia came over with stick-on lights and a cell-phone battery, and reassurance.They are all such nice people!So two weeks ago, when I was tired of getting a shock from a light switch in the carport, I got Dan to come again. That wasn't a simple problem either. He had to break through some HardiPlank that was installed by a home improvement company - which I will review harshly elsewhere - and correct faulty wiring that substandard contractors had done in 2015. I also had a new light installed over the front entrance to shine on the address. That took some creative design/ engineering. Dan wouldn't quit until I was satisfied. He and his whole team work so hard, evenings, weekends, all the time! And probably haven't charged nearly as much as they are worth.

I had commissioned AC electric for a large electric job lasting more than 2 weeks to do some major repairs to my house. While the progress was good initially, they started doing other projects in the middle and skipping work at my project. After 80% of the project is done they have now gone missing for almost 2 weeks now. Emails and calls to them are resulting in no answers about how and when they would finish the work.I understand they are going through some issues on their side, my project and move in date is now delayed by weeks with no line of sight to when the project will be completed.I would definitely not recommend them for an electric project to anybody.

I have hired at least three -- maybe four -- electricians since we bought our house four years ago for various issues. Our experience with Bowne has been SO GREAT, relative to any others. Their technicians really know what they are doing, they are excellent problem solvers, they schedule quickly and efficiently and come when they say they will. I was especially impressed with Ray, he is very pleasant and figured out how to wire and hang my exterior speakers which wasn't easy to do. AND they clean up after! So great!

The assessment fee I agreed to originally was $59. I felt this was fair. All I was looking for was an assessment of why my doorbell wasn’t working. He would tell me it was probably a problem with the doorbell transformer in the attic but wouldn’t go into the attic to check it unless I agreed to pay $300. I didn’t feel the assessment I had paid for had actually been done at this point.I agreed for him to go up, and exactly as I thought, the remodelers had just left out the transformer. This is a $20 device. All I needed was to know where it was supposed to be, that it has power, and that it was missing, but he wouldn’t actually assess this unless I was paying much more.I called the company while he was in the attic and talked them down to a still steep $225, but only after his boss very condescendingly told me he’s not going to “work for free.” Apparently, $59 is free now. If they had just assessed the problem and let me fix it like I planned, I would be out less than $100.

One of the workers nearly sideswiped me twice today. Thank goodness I was paying attention because he clearly wasn't.

Our home warranty company sent the guys from Eskew Electric to fix some shorted outlets and switches. They were quick and professional. Very happy with the service!

Atx lighting responded extremely quickly to my request. They sent someone the next business day and installed my chandelier. Great work and value. I’m glad I found them on thumbtack. Would use again.

After a recent ice storm and Austin's latest surprise reversion to 1890's living, I had enough. I bought a 7500 AMP generator. I needed a 50A inlet on the side of the house for said generator. Austin Electrical Services quoted me for an interlock kit that allows me to disconnect my house from the mains and run it off the generator. They showed up on time, did the work professionally, and briefed me on safe use of the system. They're local, and I recommend them!

Gilberto and Mason were great to work with! Very professional and probably saved our house from burning down. They did a simple GFCI installation today, but we're already planning on having them out for our next electrical project so that we can better charge our electric vehicles. Definitely recommend!

Grounded ATX master electricians are extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We had several lights that needed to be switched out and the Grounded ATX electricians were able to point out the issues that caused the initial problem and the lowest and most cost effective way to fix it. Highly recommend them for small business jobs and residential work.

The owner Shane Flores and his crew did an amazing job with my whole home automation system. Their knowledge and experience is what sets these guys apart. I would Highly recommend them and will be using them for all my A/V needs in the future. Outstanding!
