Not a customer and I never will be. One of their crews driving in heavy traffic refused to let me merge in front of them where lanes narrowed on 290. I know traffic in Austin can be frustrating, but everyone else was being decent. This is probably how they conduct themselves all the time. Businesses need to understand they have an image to maintain at all times. Common courtesy can go a long way.

Lucky for me, Jason was able to fit us into his busy schedule because he had and unexpected open window.Friendly, came on time, did a great job, and at a good price. This was a whole home circuit breaker. I was surprised that the installation took less than a half an hour i think.

Joe Rizzo sent Tech named James the next day to repair my residential generator. James was prompt, courteous, thorough and knowledable. James explained everything as he examined each section and promptly repaired it. He even cleaned all the housing and explained the maintenance procedures that would have helped. This company seems very unprofessional. A friend just bought a house and they were hired for a job, they rescheduled twice on her and didn't even show up on time when they did come, I know this because she is my neighbor and co worker so I offered to help her with the new house. Seems like the lady in charge here has been very rude as well as unprofessional, my friend specified the times she was available as this costed time off of work. When she wote a bad review the company blamed her instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes that were made on their part. A simple apology about timing issues probably could have sufficed but instead she was very rude about it, like I said very unprofessional. My husband & I need work done as well but needless to say we will be going with someone else.

Corwin Clark (Electrical Speciality Co) did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing the problem at our house. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and goes above and beyond to make customers happy. Came on time and collected the correct information beforehand, and had the needed supplies. I recommend him strongly and will call him again for any electrical work I need.

Came out to install an outlet for a customer I'm doing work for. Left a mess everywhere. Sent out another guy to clean up the mess that was as rude as could be. Said we made the mess when it is clearly the concrete dust from them drilling thru a concrete wall to run wire.

Rude son that works in his father's footsteps, Disrespectful to others. He cant retain.Takes the path of least resistance. Rude to his own employees. Culturally ignorant.

Was traveling in the Austin area yesterday (6/24/2021) and watched an accident almost happen because the guys at Power Moves were road raging and showing stuff at another vehicle in traffic. Wouldn't even think to hire these clowns.

I called IES to install a whole house surge protector and was quoted $450. We scheduled at that time because its a new house and others in the area were having issues with power surges. My mistake, I should have called around. They came out and did the work. Only afterwards did I find out how much I was ripped off. The surge protector they installed is an $88 product which means their standard trip fee (their words, not mine) was $362. I then called a few other places around to find out what their charge would be for the same item and was quoted between $200 and $300. When I mentioned to one place what I paid their response was holy sh1t you got ripped off. I contacted IES and was told them would look into this exorbitant charge. Their response was We only charged you what we paid for the surge protector plus our standard trip fee.. I feel completely taken and will NEVER use them again. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Be very careful with this contractor. He was called out to give us a bid for work on one of our properties. He was onsite for about fifteen minutes and did not do anything but look. He then billed us for work he did and when we refused to pay he threatened us with a lien. If I could give him less than 1 star I would.
