Scott arrived not just on time, but early. He began the work before our appointment time (8am) ... had hit the ground running before I knew he was there. Scott had to replace my old panel and install a new updated panel so he could set up a transfer switch (and inlet plug) for my generator. Total down time for electricity was only about 2 1/2 hours and the job was completed within about 4 hours ... including the installation of a new garage GFCI outlet. He even took the time to re-label all the breakers in the new panel as I had had the breakers labeled in my old panel.I had to contact Scott after the work was complete about a couple of questions; he responded quickly, and one time, unexpectedly, on a weekend. He resolved my questions easily but was ready, if necessary, to come by my home again to resolve my problem personally.I highly recommend Scott and Bear Electric.

Hands down the best electrician I've hired in my decade of home ownership. I love how his prices are online and I can book everything on his site. He showed up on time, was very flexible with our requests, and finished early. He installed 26 lights, several plugs and switches, moved around a ceiling fan, and installed an EV charger. I contacted Bear Electrical and they were able to schedule me for a week out. Shortly after that I received a call and was able to pull the appointment in for the next day. Scott came out and performed the two requests in short order and then was able to install whole home surge protector and a generator outlet outside in the same visit. Scott was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. My experience was phenomenal and I cannot recommend them more.

Scott just installed a Transfer Switch to power our house with a Generator during the next Winter Storm / Power Outage. I really liked his questions to analyse the work and his explanation about the procedure. He made me realized that my generator was not the right type. At the same time we installed a Surge protection to protect our appliances and electrical equipments from the network surges. Very knowledgeable about transfer switches, good communication, fast appointment and great work (the most important) for a very reasonnable price. He even took the time to test the new switch turning off and on our HVAC to confirm that our generator could handle the HVAC compressor. If like me you are willing to have a transfer switch installed at your home and you are looking for a pro, I highly recommend Scott with BEAR ELECTRIC LLC who is a specialist for this install. Greg

We definitely recommend Bear Electric. Scott came on time, thoroughly investigated why our washer may be tripping the circuit breaker, and made repairs accordingly. Installed transfer switch for back up generator and ran cable to specified location and installed outlet. Scott was great to work with. Helped get logistics zeroed in for my application installing transfer switch in main panel, running cable from one side of the house to the other through the attic and installing receptacle on exterior wall to accomodate interface cable for generator.

top notch service. Scheduling was easy. Arrived on time. Installed 10 low profile LED recessed lights in living room and kitchen with new dimmable smart switches.
