Best Exterior Electrical in Austin TX

I love Grayzer Electric !!! I have been using Grayzer for years for my personal home, my rehabs and my clients homes (I am a real estate broker). On this latest job Max was, as usual, fantastic! He worked hard to finish the jobs and was professional and courteous. Megan in the office was so helpful and also worked hard to get us scheduled in time for a closing. Always transparent and fast. They don't try to make things overly complex with diagnostic mumbo-jumbo. Came in and fix problem fast.

Short story - fraudulent and unprofessional.Long story - Genesis electrical did not finish the work they agreed to finish. They demanded payment in full prior to final inspection (we paid 60% after rough inspection). When the job was agreed upon there was no discussion of payment in full prior to final inspection. Further, there was nothing in the estimate regarding paying them in full prior to final inspection. During our argument with them about this, they sent us an altered estimate in which they changed the original estimate to say the the final payment was due prior to final inspection. Hilariously stupid to think we had not saved the original estimate. I am no lawyer, but this probably qualifies as fraud. I will be contacting the attorney general if we have any more problems with this company. I don't care if it cost us 10,000 in legal fees, if we have ANY more problems from this company. I WILL CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND GO AFTER THEIR LICENSE. That is how bad it went. We had to find another electrician who would be willing to put their name on the permit. This was a difficult task, because master electricians are reluctant (as they should be) to put their name on someone else's work. Finally, their work did not pass final inspection. Not surprising, considering they so badly wanted to be paid BEFORE final inspection. So we had to pay to get that work fixed.

They are certainly knowledgeable, prompt, very reasonable, quite personable and anxious to please. They left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. I have used them twice now and definitely plan to call on them again. It's nice to find a company you can trust.

KDR Electrical has been very valuable on a number of my projects. They have provided innumerable services that go beyond just providing electrical. I depend on them and strongly recommend them.

Please avoid using this company as the person who schedules ( Mindy) their work is The most unprofessional person ever! She just cost me 4 hours of pay doing exactly what she wanted and not what the customer told her she could do. Appointment was set for 9 rescheduled for 12 then she told the tech the appointment was at 2. UPDATE-BACK STORY. Mindy tried to schedule an appointment set by the previous owners of my home the same day and was mad that I could not comply with an appointment that i was just finding out about that day. I do work and can not just get off for something that was NOT scheduled through me. I asked her to set up an appointment for a week and for it to be in the morning due to my work schedule. We did this and then she tried to move the date and time. I explained that I already had scheduled time off and could not move it. She then asked to move it to 2 not 9. I said no it needs to be in the morning due to my work schedule. I then asked the previous owners to schedule it because she was difficult to work with. I have emails that show 12 today as the time. Not last week or the week before. Then after I chose to give this review she called me to yell at me for the giving her a bad review. And this is the owner none the less. I’m just glad I didn't pay for their service as she was so unprofessional. On the bright side, Austin their Tech was awesome and super friendly. Maybe the owner should take notes.
