They had an easy-to-use online form and were able to fit me in within a day of me emailing them rudder my charging station had arrived and I was ready for installation.The installer was professional and knowledgeable - plus, he cleaned up after himself! The install looked great. Pricing was upfront, there were no hidden fees, and I received a very helpful email about claiming tax and electric company credits. I would definitely recommend them!

We called Molitor Electric for the first time a year ago, after enduring several years of lights flickering, breaker switches going off at bad times (when is there a good time?) and network losing connection. Dan Molitor diagnosed the fairly extensive problems, including the fact that our electricity was fluctuating on and off. That's why my ovens (microwave as well as stove) took so much longer to cook everything than they should have. Dan and his team handled everything, diligently and efficiently. And when a city employee caused a delay, which resulted in a power outage for hours, Claudia came over with stick-on lights and a cell-phone battery, and reassurance.They are all such nice people!So two weeks ago, when I was tired of getting a shock from a light switch in the carport, I got Dan to come again. That wasn't a simple problem either. He had to break through some HardiPlank that was installed by a home improvement company - which I will review harshly elsewhere - and correct faulty wiring that substandard contractors had done in 2015. I also had a new light installed over the front entrance to shine on the address. That took some creative design/ engineering. Dan wouldn't quit until I was satisfied. He and his whole team work so hard, evenings, weekends, all the time! And probably haven't charged nearly as much as they are worth.

One of the workers nearly sideswiped me twice today. Thank goodness I was paying attention because he clearly wasn't.

After an aborted attempt by my wife and I to install a wifi-enabled light switch in our new garage apartment in the Brentwood neighborhood, we decided to enlist the assistance of an expert to accomplish this task for us. Turning to the Nextdoor app for electrician suggestions, it appeared that Colvin Electric had many satisfied customers, and we made an appointment with them late on Thursday, September 5 - the earliest that they could accommodate us was between 11:00 and 2:00 on Monday, September 9, which was acceptable to us. After scheduling the appointment, we promptly received a confirmation e-mail.On Monday at 2:00, we received a call from Michael, an office person, informing us that our service technician, Hayward, was delayed by complications with another customer's job, and he would arrive at my house by 3:30. I was somewhat disappointed, but Michael was very polite and apologetic, and I assured him that a 3:30 arrival would be acceptable. I immediately received a text message from Colvin Electric that introduced the technician that would be arriving, including a photo and a short biography. A Google map was also embedded in the text, showing where the technician was currently in relation to my house.Hayward Smart, the Colvin technician, pulled into my driveway just after 3:00, introduced himself, listened carefully to what my electric issues were, and gave me a quote for the work. The price seemed fair, and we chatted while he worked - Hayward was neat, clean, intelligent and an engaging professional, and he certainly seemed to know his business well. He explained every step of what he was doing during the switch installation, and then afterward assisted me with setting up the app on my iPhone that controls the light switch functions. Everything worked perfectly. Hayward also rewired another 3-way light switch that had been problematic, and fixed that as well.We were mightily impressed with Colvin Electric, and I would not hesitate to recommend this fine company to anyone. I intend to use them for any future electrical matters - they have earned a permanent place in my Contacts app.Thanks Hayward and Colvin Electric!

I had a water leak in my ceilings, there was a lot of humidity that was damaging my ceiling, so I called here and the service was excellent in determining where the water was coming from. He was very punctual and extremely efficient. They brought very good quality tools to solve my problem, and they always explained to me every move they made.
