Max and Zack were at my house to install an EV charger. They did an amazing job and were outstanding in all aspects of the install. Very good company for ev charger installs.

The tech that came out to survey my project and make a bid was really nice and I would have been happy to go with them. However, the person that sent me the bid and then responded to my emails was rude and never got back to me. I paid $100 for the consult and estimate and then had a question because the bid only included one outlet and I needed two. I was told that the bid was verbatim what the tech had said. I replied that that is fine, and I am happy to pay more for an additional outlet but never heard back. I thought with a $100 fee just to get a bid that I would get better costumer service, but apparently not. :(

Volt exceeded my expectations twice! They correctly assessed a complex electrical issue and worked with the city to provide solution. And, later discovered a possible dryer not turning on because it was incorrectly wired from a previous company. Highly recommend volt and will use again.

Steven was fantastic. He responded quickly to my request and made it very easy to schedule a time for him to come out and provide a free estimate. We were wanting an additional outlet put in our garage, and he was able to do it that same day. Quick and easy.

I’m a long-time homeowner and have hired many electricians and contractors over the years. Shipley Electric was the best I’ve ever hired. The owner and his team were true professionals. I asked endless questions, and they patiently answered them all. Their communication and coordination were top notch, they did beautiful work, were on time, and prices were reasonable. Even the city inspector proactively noted to me directly that Shipley has integrity and always does the right thing. I was impressed that the inspector would share such unabashed praise. I look forward to hiring Shipley again.

Great company to deal with

A simple fix in my breaker box turned out to be a much bigger issue with my kitchen's wiring. Hurley fixed the problem within a couple of hours and still kept the original price agreed upon. Great service, and I will definitely be using them again.

Never ever in my 55 years have had a professional trade technician whether electrician, plumber, home builder or HVAC tech charge me for phone calls and text messages. I have many friends in the above mentioned trades that have not or never will charge for this. Job was not completed and when this person abruptly left the property she failed to reinstall the breaker subpanel cover in my garage as well as my attic access. Had to hire another company to complete the work . New company had to replace a faulty GFCI circuit breaker that A One installed in my electrical subpanel that they charged me for. I agreed to pay this company minus cost of phone calls/text messages as well as my time to install the subpanel cover, attic access cover and the late payment fees. Not acceptable to them. Now being threatened by a lawsuit for theft of service. Beware if you choose to hire this company.

I had some lighting problems in several areas of our home. The garage has always been too dark and I had some old fluorescent lights in my upstairs bath that barely worked. I called Lyons Electric and asked Steve to help. After looking at the issues, Steve had a great idea that had not occurred to me. He suggested that we install some recessed lighting in the bathrooms and then use the existing fluorescents in the garage after replacing the ballasts. It worked great! The garage is SO much brighter and I didn't have to buy new lights! And the bath lighting is beautiful. I couldn't be happier with the work!

Unlike some of these petty leftists who blocked Cody from getting to work, then tried to bully him, he’s actually done work for my business and family for years. Always on time, prices are extremely reasonable, work is PERFECT.

We had such a great experience with Aaron and bedwell electric. We an electrical outlet issue that really needed to be fixed. It was easy to get him over, diagnosed the problem, now the outlet works great and we’ve had no further issues. Aaron also was priced much better than a lot of the other companies we’ve used. Can’t recommend his company enough.

They are extremely unresponsive and difficult to work with. We have had several issues with the quality of their work and I would not utilize them again.

The company does not have any safety culture. Only production
