Best Repair AC in Jacksonville FL

I called around to get a price on an outside outlet to be put in by my pool. I talked to a lady that answered the phone for American Electric. She told me it would be $85 an hour, and then they charged by the quarter hour, plus parts. There is a minimum of 1 hour. I thought this was fair and and made an appointment for a Thursday. She said someone will call and come afternoon. Thursday came and nobody showed or called. I called the office at 3:30 and asked if someone was coming. The same lady told me that she had my appointment down for Friday morning the next day. I told her No, that is not what was said, but there are miscommunications that happen and we will see them in the morning. A guy called me at 7:30 AM and showed up at 8. The two gentlemen were professional and did a good job installing the outlet where I wanted it. It took them about an 1 hour and 20 minutes.(Mind you, I had an estimate from another Electrical company that came out the day I made the appointment for $240.) I was figuring it would be $85 for an hour and if it went long maybe $120-$150 for labor and parts and I would save with this company. The head electrician handed me the bill and it was for $350. $315 of it was for labor. I asked him how he came to that figure. He said they start charging when they make the call they are coming and travel to the appointment. He also said that the cost goes up for a 2 man crew. I told him I did not ask for a 2 man crew and I was quoted for $85 and hour. I also did not understand why I was being asked to pay for their travel and it should have been 1.75 hours not 2. He said he has a chart and that was the cost for the job. NO WAY I should be paying for travel and they FLAT OUT LIED about the cost per hour. DONT USE THESE CLOWNS!!! Its a scam. Very disappointed.

We had a lighting strike and their tech was able to locate the problem and fix it quickly..... great job, courtesy tech and very knowledgeable.

Joe and Blake were super quick, friendly, and efficient. They installed our Tesla Charger and were very patient as I tested it out. They cleaned up after and left everything looking lovely. Highly recommend! ☺️

Matthew at R&R Electric is a true professional. He came to my house immediately addressed my issues and had everything done in record time. He even informed me why my electrical outlets quit working. He immediately replaced the outlet that was at fault and made sure it was done professionally .

This is my 2nd time using Ace Handyman Services in about a month. This time I was assigned Christian as my first craftsman has been out ill. Christian worked to fix counter round that had been added to 3 transition areas improperly and had bothered me for some time. He also leveled a misaligned floating shelf. Christian was very professional and focused and resolved these small issues without issue though it took longer than anticipated because of how it was originally installed. Ace is quickly becoming my go to resource and I will definitely use them again! Either Kyle or Christian would be welcomed again in my home for any future projects I might have. Thanks again for another job well done!

If you’re looking for a dishonest, unprofessional company with zero integrity then this is the company for you! The other 5 star review from crystal Blackburn is fake - she is the office manager. This company damaged my car on I- 295, a box fell out of the back of one of their vehicles and whatever was inside bounced off the concrete into the front of my car. Dented and scratched it. I called and spoke with crystal (the office manager) who told me she knew what box I was talking about. They are extremely unprofessional, I didn’t see the damage until very early the next morning because I am very busy as a full time college student with many responsibilities. Crystal then yelled at me because I didn’t call “yesterday”. when I called the police they said I had TEN days to report the damage. Apparently this was inconvenient to crystal even tho my car is the one that got damaged. After speaking with my insurance company they told me to Tell crystal she could write me a check for the amount of damage or my insurance could go after hers. They have since BLOCKED my phone number and my EMAIL. Only a GUILTY party would BLOCK someone after trying to get in contact TWO times. The last time I spoke to crystal she told me I “couldn’t prove it” even tho I was in my car when it happened. I have since collected (from the side of the interstate) the item and the box that damaged my car. I have more than enough proof and evidence.

Crystal and Malcom hart (the owner) will not answer the calls from my insurance and are refusing to give us their insurance information, which I am assuming they do not have.

I also assume the OWNER Malcom Hart was driving the car that damaged mine since the phone number on the car goes to his direct line. I will be reaching out to a commercial vehicle lawyer since that seems to be the only way to get my car fixed.

The reason we have insurance is to fix accidents like this. And the fact they won’t own up to it, how do you expect them to have integrity on any job they do.

TL;DR : they damaged my car, admitted to it. Won’t give me their insurance info.

They are inexpensive and quick

Horrible customer service; agent hangs up on you while describing issue.
