Light switches and outlets on one side of my kitchen suddenly went out. Tried resetting fuses, pushed GFI, nothing worked. I was worried that the electrical system needed to be replaced as it is 25 years old or so. I called American Electrical and they set up an appointment for 2 days later.Troy called before he got here to let me know he was on the way. He and his assistant were friendly, polite and professional and immediately went to work. Turned out it WAS the GFI switch, but it was just hard to push in correctly. He looked at my wiring at that time and said it was fine, and not to worry about it. He could have told me I needed to rewire my kitchen and I would have believed him. 100% trustworthy! I will definitely call them again and ask for Troy if I have any electrical problems or needs.

Our technician, Cole, with Mr Sparky was very professional and knowledgable. He addressed my safety concerns for things that we knew were problems and found others that we didn't know about that were fire hazards. He also did an installation of under the cabinets lighting and discovered I still had aluminum wiring that needed replacing going to the stove. I was very happy with his service and attention to detail and understanding my concerns with the electrical safety in the home. I will be using them again in the future to do some other work we want to have done.

I bought a 2-hour service voucher through Living Social to have some simple electrical work done (e.g., adding a switch to a light). The technician, Michael, was on time. He was polite and worked extremely quickly (I felt that I was getting the full amount of time that I purchased). He immediately recognized a problem with wiring performed by a previous electrician that had put our structure at risk of fire. He resolved the problem and installed the switch. I cannot say enough good things about this technician and this company. I will definitely do business with them again, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
