We called RC Electric and had Ryan come out to give us a quote on running a sub-panel and the electrical rough-in for our basement renovation. He showed up on time, answered all my questions, and was knowledgeable. It wasn't until we got the itemized quote that we were upset. Out of 7 different electricians we received quotes from, RC Electric was by far the highest. They wanted to charge us $10,150 for the same job that I just paid $5,500 for. Even the second highest estimate was only $7,500. So why was I being charged so much more you ask? Answer: Marked up parts and almost double labor costs. A simple example was the cost of the 100-Amp sub-panel. RC Electric wanted to charge me $879 just for the sub-panel and that doesn't include the breakers or the cost of running the wire from the main panel to the new sub-panel. The electrician I used only charged $350 for a 100-Amp sub-panel parts and that included the cost of the breakers. As I read further through the rest of the quote, it was the same thing repeated. Price increases on everything. I will never use RC Electric even if they did amazing work. Take some advice from me and always get 5-7 quotes for the same job so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money.

Indianapolis has a great open shop option for your industrial electrical needs. Do you want what the industry is trying to sell you as an industrial electrical contractor or do you want the real thing? If you want the real thing, then you should call.

Had a standby generator installed. They were lowest of the four quotes I got, and could do the install right away versus me having to wait 2 months like one of the other quotes. Josh and Russ were great to work with. Found them through a referral from my neighbor who was also very pleased with his generator install. Fair pricing, great service and professionalism. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I am a property manager and have used Frye several times on homes that I have under contract. These guys know their stuff. They are prompt and get right to it. Knowledgeable and reasonable in cost, too. Let's face it, a licensed electrician isn't going to work for nothing, but I don't want to be gouged, either. Their prices are what I would call reasonable, and I've always been satisfied. Scheduled with them to come by to give me an estimate for a basement electrical rough-in. They said they would be able to come by between 9-10am the next day. I took the day off work to meet with them and they were a no show.

Farrar has integrity in their work.
I hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel who subcontracted the electrical to Farrar but never paid them.
Even though they didn't get paid for the job, they still stand behind their work and provide a warranty. They came back and corrected an issue at no charge to me. The employees who came to my house were professional and clean.

Officer manager has terrible social skills. Instead of listening to what a costumer is asking she automatically jumped to conclusions. I would never deal with costumer service and office manager.
