A lifetime client was made. I can’t explain how amazing the customer service was in my experience. I contacted on a Friday night at 6pm to let them know a portion of my house had no power. They literally were on their way home for the weekend and turned around to come help me and my family. This right there should show you how amazing of a company this is. Called for a quote on replacing 1 faulty breaker they put in 4 years ago. $125 trip fee plus $125 for labor plus the breaker. Very expensive.

The electrician was on time, efficient, and capable. He was patient (we had purchased equipment for installation before another electrician abandoned us), and put up with us rookies attempting to figure out our Ring doorbell while he was here. It was pricey for the amount of time it took ($500/hr—ouch!), so we would think twice next time.

Had severe emergency when a tree toppled over from strong winds on Thanksgiving evening causing breakage of the conduit containing the electric wires connected to my home. He was very gracious to come by early the next morning to repair the system quickly in bad weather, including reinstallation on a 22 foot tall ladder to reattach to the electricity pole. He and his wife deserve a gold star! Will definitely use them again for any electrical issues.

For a small company they offered great service replacing our new upgraded underground power line, breaker box, meter box, adding our portable generator connection and an additional external outlet. All work was done extremely professional to code, work area cleaned and met to our satisfaction. Even though Smart Choice Electrical Services is small, they kept true to their word and time frame of completing all work....Job Well Done!!

I work in commercial/retail property management and my company has used CPL for all of our electrical needs over the last year, since we were first referred by a mutual business partner.From the very first job, we were truly impressed by the communication, professionalism, quality of work and value. Anyone who has worked with any of the skilled trades knows that finding a company that has ALL of these qualities truly is a needle in the haystack. CPL has completed jobs for us as simple as changing out one light fixture style to another to running new wiring tens of feet and have even done a few investigative fixes for us on some things that I certainly can't explain the minutiae of (but Chris, the operations manager can), I just know they got fixed...like the giant sign on the front of our building that sadly sat unlit for months and now glows beautifully!The bottom line is, you're going to get quality work at an honest price and you won't be in the dark about anything (no pun intended). Chris is very transparent and communicative about the whole process and while it may or may not sway your motivation to work with CPL, I don't think it should go without noting that he is a notably kind person to work with.

I called Excel Electricians Houston to help install a new bathroom light. The old fluorescent light was installed on the ceiling and the wires were coming from the side, so for the new light we needed a new wall box above the mirror. The electrician was very friendly and the job was done quickly and very well from start to finish. I am very satisfied with the price he gave and with the quality of the work.

TJAT completed a major electrical project for my backyard remodel including upgrading my service from 100 Amp to 150 Amp, replacing old service panel with 2 new panels, buried my overhead electrical service wires with underground wire, added a new service panel from my outdoor kitchen, added additional electrical service to pool equipment area, wired my AquaCal SQ166R Heat Pump/Chiller and repaired the existing wiring for my 3 pool lights. They also installed 4 Atlas fans and 2 chandeliers in my outdoor kitchen area. Very pleased, will use in the future for al of my electrical requirements.

I worked here. Not worker friendly. But hey this is Texas. Here it’s business first employees last.
