Contacted several Electricians that I had previously used (1 of 4 responded and he wasn't available) so in a moment of meltdown mode I began searching the internet. Nextdoor had good reviews from more than just a handful of folks so I took a leap of faith and completed the 'contact us' portion on their site and low and behold they returned my call within the hour and Sal came by shortly after lunch. He assessed the situation, provided a very fair and reasonable quote (slightly less than I anticipated) and returned the following morning to do the job. Sal is personable, professional and was a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend them and will definitely add them to my Contact list for further electrical assistance. I need two separate ratings, one for price and one for performance. Performance even though it was a simple main breaker switch out was 5/5 showed experience and that they knew what they were doing. The price, even though it was reduced was still ridiculous (250 dollar Emergency call no problem!) But initially they wanted over 350 dollars for a 65-100 dollar breaker. Which I could have purchased from a local supply house if the issue did not occur after 6 o'clock on a Thursday. After a short complaint the price was reduced from over 350 dollars to 144 and some change. A 300-400% mark up on material on the truck is not acceptable. Besides the cost the service was good, based on service I would use Wired again, based on price a big no.

This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!

Great company! If you need to remodel your house this is it. They offer all kinds of services besides electricity. We hired them to move walls, add lights in our master and hang ceiling fans. Good job!

I contacted Allsource Electrical for a bid on 8 can lights installed in our ceiling, with easy access to walk around in attic space. I read the reviews of Allsource Electrical and felt they were a reputable company and provided a great service. A very respectful young man gave me an estimate for the install. We agreed on the price and I signed and approved the estimate. We scheduled the same week but had to postpone one week due to illness. We rescheduled and when the electrian showed up, he stated the estimated price had changed and was now 4 times more to install the lights. He explained he made a mistake entering the work to be performed, but he could try to negotiate on our behalf to get a better deal. He came back with a reduced price, but still was twice as much as the original quote. I was disappointed that I rescheduled my day that affected others when they could have notified me about the increase and their error. I felt the experience was similar to buying a car that the salesman had to reach out to his supervisor for a better deal to offer me. Very disappointed.

I was very pleased with the timely manner in which they got an electrician to my house! They were very kind and helpful and worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use Southern Electrical Services again, and would recommend them to others as well!
