I called Paul Richard Electric on Sunday after having an increasing problem with intermittently dimming lights throughout the house. It had gotten so bad that It knocked out two surge protectors overnight while we were sleeping.We had already had Centerpoint out to check their equipment that morning. They had cleared some brush from around the poles and said there was no other problem on their end. When I called Paul, he said he could have someone out that day to check out the problem.Larry and Ruben arrived about two hours later. They did a thorough inspection and found nothing unusual enough from the voltage readings to cause our problems. While they were there, the power went out. They went out to check on it and found that there were Centerpoint trucks a couple of houses down working on the transformer! We had Larry and Ruben perform some routine Electrical panel maintenance and work up an estimate for some additional issues that needed addressing.I have nothing but good things to say about Larry and Ruben. They were on time, knowledgeable, and efficient, and they patiently explained everything they were doing. Even though it turned out that our problem was really a Centerpoint issue, I am very grateful to Paul for sending out his team on a Sunday to check it out. I will definitely be calling them again soon to take care of some safety issues they pointed out and plan to use them for all my future electrical needs.

I had them come out to install a ceiling fan and the guy stepped through my ceiling hey stuff happens but the fan went up quickly and they came back and fixed the ceiling. It looks like it never happened!Very professional and quick.Thanks

Excellent service and great customer service. Had to get my home up to date with wiring. He gave me an estimated time of completion, explain what all would be done, warranty on parts and service and provided a payment plan. I travel for work and left him the keys to my home for 4 days and everything of importance was never touched or missing. I would recommend his service to single women as he did not try to over price me as well! Will use for all my electrical needs and further project.

Lone Star Electric was owned by another and 5 years ago under previous management, a new electrical panel was installed upside down at a client's home and would not pass inspection when they went to sell it. The homeowner reached out to Lone Star Electric 5 years later (present day) and asked if they could help resolve this problem. Though they did not own Lone Star Electric at the time, the current owner/management , stood by their name and their work, and sent two electricians out to my client's house and spending 4 hours working on rebuilding and correctly installing the panel, all at absolutely no charge to my client! Their professionalism is unbeatable and though I personally had not used them for electrical services prior to this, I am very very impressed and will recommend them to all my clients! Good work Lone Star Electric!

Lutz provided quality contracting services for my home. Their sub-contractors were very high quality and their project manager went above and beyond to make me happy. They are not inexpensive, but quality work is not cheap. I would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them to friends.

For a small company they offered great service replacing our new upgraded underground power line, breaker box, meter box, adding our portable generator connection and an additional external outlet. All work was done extremely professional to code, work area cleaned and met to our satisfaction. I work in commercial/retail property management and my company has used CPL for all of our electrical needs over the last year, since we were first referred by a mutual business partner.From the very first job, we were truly impressed by the communication, professionalism, quality of work and value. Anyone who has worked with any of the skilled trades knows that finding a company that has ALL of these qualities truly is a needle in the haystack. CPL has completed jobs for us as simple as changing out one light fixture style to another to running new wiring tens of feet and have even done a few investigative fixes for us on some things that I certainly can't explain the minutiae of (but Chris, the operations manager can), I just know they got fixed...like the giant sign on the front of our building that sadly sat unlit for months and now glows beautifully!The bottom line is, you're going to get quality work at an honest price and you won't be in the dark about anything (no pun intended). Chris is very transparent and communicative about the whole process and while it may or may not sway your motivation to work with CPL, I don't think it should go without noting that he is a notably kind person to work with.
