Following a partial home power failure including our AC and stove on a Sunday, Paul Richard Electric responded to my request for an emergency appointment (note: other businesses had a vm on a Sunday). Paul came as scheduled and diagnosed the situation, called CenterPoint Energy for us, laid out the potential scenarios and options. Paul's commitment to helping us, providing detail cost alternatives and understanding of the entire electrical design (from transformer to unit) was spot-on.

We needed an electrical outlet repaired and the two electricians were friendly, professional, and got the job done fast. They took great notes and sent them to us along with our receipt. It cost a bit more than we expected it to, we thought it might be around $200-$300 but it was $390, plus the $39 service fee. I still think the service was 5 stars though!

After receiving quote, I was able to schedule appointment the next day to get my Tesla wall charger installed. Appointment went smoothly and was able to fix a pre-existing wiring issue, and upgraded panel to include power surge protection.

CPL has completed jobs for us as simple as changing out one light fixture style to another to running new wiring tens of feet and have even done a few investigative fixes for us on some things that I certainly can't explain the minutiae of (but Chris, the operations manager can), I just know they got fixed...like the giant sign on the front of our building that sadly sat unlit for months and now glows beautifully!The bottom line is, you're going to get quality work at an honest price and you won't be in the dark about anything (no pun intended). Chris is very transparent and communicative about the whole process and while it may or may not sway your motivation to work with CPL, I don't think it should go without noting that he is a notably kind person to work with.

Jolt installed a whole house generator for me. I paid for the generator upfront which was ~half of the cost, then the balance after install. Marilu took care of the administrative part dealing w/ permits & CenterPoint Energy. Vladimir handled the install. They both did a great job & made the process as painless as possible. They're also both very friendly & great about addressing any questions or comments I had.
