I have used Abacus in the past and had a good experience. However, today they went out to replace a water heater. I was quoted over $4000 for a 12 year warranty on the replacement, WOW!!!! The tech offered an 8 year warranty for $3800 which was still, WOW!!!! This service should be under $1500 just in case you were wondering. Luckily, the estimate and visit was free. Overall, the customer service is top notch, but the quote was just, WOW!!!!

I needed plumbers to check my kitchen sink, this company was near me so i called, i was impressed about the cheap the service was, especially, because the service was very Good. 100% recommended.

April 18, 2023Time 8am-12pmTechnician Mr. Chad Sury was very patient, kind and took care to explain the problems with leaks under sink, faucet, basket strainer, underneath garbage disposal, and fixing the pea trap. He allayed my husband’s and my anxieties and concerns. He sensed this matter was overwhelming us, he therefore gave suggestions which we could care for financially now and lists we can follow up in the near future. He recommended a separate company from John Moore called Entrusted, a water mitigation company. We took technician Mr. Sury’s advice and promptly scheduled appointment. Entrusted Co. will check for microbial growth in kitchen due to high wind and water damage on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 2:15 pm.The manner in which technician Mr. Sury and all the other technicians who have worked in our home was professional without pressure. We are genuinely happy to have the John Moore Co. they do the job once and we mean it’s done correctly. Thanks to all John Moore Technicians Chad Sry, David Mize (Big D) did excellent job on Electrical Box Wiring, Fred Collazo (Tub Drain+Gas connection checked no leak). I was charged for 5 hours of work and, $160 in parts to sand and repaint the front side of a wooden door (in place), just paint the rear side of the door, and replace the weatherstripping under the door. This came to $760 before tax. A good deal of the time I was charged for was spent by the handyman making multiple trips to different (!) Home Depots when both a well-equipped hardware store and Sherwin Williams were within a short distance of my home. In addition, since the handyman accidentally leaked a trail of paint across about 60 feet in my townhome complex, I had to spend some of my time on a couple of extra days as he and a partner cleaned up the mess. Although the door looks fine, I see no advantage to using this company for anything else. Certainly, better value with less stress is available elsewhere.
