Best New Construction Electrical Wiring in Houston TX
Larry performed a repair on the can lights in my kitchen. I'm glad he did because apparently the wires were loose and burning! He and Damien were very courteous and communicative. I appreciated little touches like asking if he could sweep up the little bit of drywall dust off my floor. Yes the fixed price of two hours plus trip charge may seem steep, but worth it for peace of mind/not having my house burn down and for supporting local businesses.

This company tried to charge me double what everyone else gave me as an estimate. I had the work completed by another company for half of their estimate and done in the less time than they quoted me. They wanted $1220 for 4 hours of labor (with one person) installing 2 outlets / breakers in a garage with me providing most of the material. This was a 10’ run for 1 outlet and a 1’ run for another. The technician himself was very nice and professional but the company are trying to rip customers off.

After the big freeze in February I began my search for an electrician to install a generator.I started my search with a generator superstore because I was going use them for everything from sales to installation but when they told me a generator wasn't available until June/July. I knew I had to find a generator and someone to install it.Let me tell you, I called and met with 9 different electrician company reps and it was getting to be like speed dating. Met 1 sometimes 2 a day. I created a chart of companies, prices, availability (booked because of what's going on) and what their installation covered, plumbers, transfer switch installation, etc. Some wouldn't install a generator unless they sold it to you.I met with JP first. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Answered all of my picky questions. Even explaining how we could save on installation if we run piping above ground and not under. When meeting with JP, it was like he was being thoughtful of the customers needs. He was on your side.So Nathan the owner, was in charge of the project but then his wife gave birth. So then Daniel his business partner and team took over the project so that he could spendmore time with family. Rightfully so. There was excellent communication throughout the entire process. I never once felt like anyone had dropped the ball. Even while there were lots of service calls post great freeze.Text messages and emails were responded to in excellent time. If they didn't have an answer, they'd still respond saying they'd call CenterPoint for an update.I did not purchase my generator from Brotherly Love Electric but they do provide that service. I had bought mine as soon as I found one since they were pretty scarce.Things that impacted the price of installation that I did not expect was how far the Generator was from the gas meter and generator placement was set by HOA rules.I hope this review is helpful to my fellow reviewers and the great guys at Brotherly Love Electric.

We had Lone Star wire a new electrical box with new fuses, add the wiring of outside lights and an outside outlet, and do all the wiring for a hot tub. We paid them cash. We have had nothing but trouble. The outside GFI plug kept switching off. It's been replaced 3 times, twice by Lone Star. The electrician who replaced it today waterproofed the housing and pulled a ground wire out of the wall to attach it to the plug. DUH! In too big a hurry to attach a ground wire? The spa is the biggest problem. The wrong wire was used underground, so now we have to pull out all the ground work and the spa to have the correct wire installed. Also we need a switch within 12 feet of the spa to cut off the power which is a requirement. This alone will cost us upward of $2,000. Lone Star isn't returning calls or answering text messages. They do not guarantee their work. The last time we spoke they wanted $600 to come out about the switch. I do not recommend them.

Don’t let the lack of reviews scare you away! I have used CA Electrical Contractor for both small residential and big commercial jobs (wiring commercial A/C, installing new electrical panels & transformer). Cruz is always easy to reach and his crew is on time. Quality work done in a timely manner at more than reasonable prices. I don’t hesitate recommending these guys to friends/family.

Lutz provided quality contracting services for my home. Their sub-contractors were very high quality and their project manager went above and beyond to make me happy. They are not inexpensive, but quality work is not cheap. I would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them to friends.

Malcolm ran and connected the wiring and transfer switch for our standby generator and we couldn't be happier with the work that he provided. He took his time figuring out the layout of the transfer switch and wiring to make sure it was done right the first time. He was on time and kept us in the loop on the progress of the job. We will definitely be using him in the future and referring him to everyone that needs electrical work done.

For a small company they offered great service replacing our new upgraded underground power line, breaker box, meter box, adding our portable generator connection and an additional external outlet. All work was done extremely professional to code, work area cleaned and met to our satisfaction. Even though Smart Choice Electrical Services is small, they kept true to their word and time frame of completing all work....Job Well Done!!

I work in commercial/retail property management and my company has used CPL for all of our electrical needs over the last year, since we were first referred by a mutual business partner. From the very first job, we were truly impressed by the communication, professionalism, quality of work and value. Anyone who has worked with any of the skilled trades knows that finding a company that has ALL of these qualities truly is a needle in the haystack. CPL has completed jobs for us as simple as changing out one light fixture style to another to running new wiring tens of feet and have even done a few investigative fixes for us on some things that I certainly can't explain the minutiae of (but Chris, the operations manager can), I just know they got fixed...like the giant sign on the front of our building that sadly sat unlit for months and now glows beautifully! The bottom line is, you're going to get quality work at an honest price and you won't be in the dark about anything (no pun intended). Chris is very transparent and communicative about the whole process and while it may or may not sway your motivation to work with CPL, I don't think it should go without noting that he is a notably kind person to work with.
