Legacy and the team of Jeremy, Debbie and Derek did a fantastic job on the remodel of our master bath, bedroom and Panoramic doors in our great room. Jeremy incorporated everything we were hoping for in his plans. Debbie's eye for what works together is spot on. We thought we had everything picked out and unbeknownst to us she sought out 2 different tiles to compliment the wall tile in the shower, presented it to us and it was a WOW moment. Derek was fantastic coordinating all the subs, was on site every day himself, and kept us informed daily about who would be working and what time they would arrive. His communication with us was greatly appreciated. We would use them again and recommend Legacy with the team of Jeremy, Debbie and Derek to everyone.

Stronghold was one of the best if not the best home contractor that I've ever worked with. Trevor was attentive and communicative, always available when we had questions or concerns. He offered suggestions when we decided to change directions during the project consultation and was able to offer design services to help us bring the project off the way we had imagined. Recently completed a major kitchen and master bath remodel. We are very happy with the results of both projects. We had to make a design change during the process, and Premier was very responsive and turnaround on the new design did not delay the project at all. The entire team was very professional and any issues that arose were quickly resolved. A great team and we would be happy to work with them again.

This company is amazing. I was expecting tens of thousands of dollars for new granite counters but that was not even close. Jason the sales guy was amazing and worked magic to make my kitchen remodel happen at a very affordable price. This place uses CNC Machines to cut your counters so I don’t even need to say that the final product was perfect. We had several bad stones that showed flaws. These people could have just installed it and I would have never known any different but Jose the production guy was looking out for our best interest when he spotted flaws and we picked new stones until it was perfect! I can’t say enough about Diamond Granite. They are the best.

All I can say is thank you. Scott and Lorrie designed the perfect remodel for my living room area. I wanted enough natural light for all my plants and when Lorrie suggested extending the living area into the patio to make a sunroom, I was blown away by her ideas. Scott and his team went above and beyond in their professionalism and their work is beautiful. I am in love with everything Scott and Lorrie created. Thank you to their entire team.

To be fair, the team at Design Lab did get our vision for the kitchen and bath remodel we planned, and their designs did, eventually, work out. HOWEVER, we’d suggest, should you opt for their services, to be very clear about what services they plan to provide and to be certain that they are doing what they promised correctly. In our experience:

1. Design Lab represented themselves as the lead team for our remodel. Without telling us, after we hired the contractor they introduced us to, they signed a contract with the contractor and Design Lab became a subcontractor. This created confusion for all parties throughout the project.
2. We kept the same footprint in the kitchen. Despite this, Design Lab did not measure the existing cabinets correctly. The cabinets they ordered for one wall would not have fit. Fortunately, the contractor identified that issue, but it led to a 2-week delay.
3. There was a gap from design to construction, which was our choice. By the time the project started, the kitchen cabinets we had selected were no longer available. Rather than telling us, Design Lab simply ordered different cabinets they thought we’d like. We didn’t like their choice. This led to a 4+-month delay, during which we had no kitchen.
4. Design Lab often did not order sufficient quantities of materials (like tile, cabinet filler, crown molding, kitchen cabinet knobs). In the deal they made with the contractor, Design Lab apparently maintained control over ordering materials and supplies. This added time and frustration, because projects could not be completed in one visit from the trades brought in by the contractor. All these issues led to completely using the contingency piece of the project budget, even though there was only 1 change order ever made.
5. Design Lab incorrectly ordered the backsplash tile, when they made up for the shortage of the first order. We had 2 different style tiles waiting to be installed, but fortunately this was spotted by the contractor before the tile was to be installed. Design Lab also ordered kitchen knobs that were different from what was in the specs.

All of this made a project the contractor estimated would take 6 weeks ultimately take 8 months!

We had Brian come in and do our drywall work and he also added beautiful baseboards to finish our kitchen island. We also had him install our water heater. Brian is a top-notch professional. We would highly recommend him.
