In this long review I want to give you an idea of what we went through. Our remodeling project consisted of a new kitchen, new master bathroom and new entertainment center in the Arizona Room. Based on the significant dollar investment, our expectation was high level of quality in materials and labor, and meeting schedule commitments. Legacy Design Build Remodeling overall met these expectations.
They accomplished this by following their advertised process which consisted of.
(1) Project Analysis which was to really understand what we wanted to accomplish and discuss what that means to us in time and cost. They explain their process and we met the key people that would be involved in managing the project. This initial step really helped us understand the full scope of work and funding that our wants created.
(2) Pre-Build and Permitting Phase was our most enjoyable because this was the design phase of the project. We were fortunate to work with Jeremy, who had particularly good design ideas. He spent as much time as we needed until we had acceptable drawings. As part of this phase, we decided to use the vendors that they recommended. It turned out to be the right decision. We selected all the cabinets from Solid Cabinetry which is a Phoenix based cabinet manufacturer. What we got was high quality custom level cabinets at a production manufacturer price. We were able to go to the manufacturing site and select what we specifically wanted in style and color. Next we went to ProSource to select our tiles, trims. We worked with Katie who is a fabulous designer. From there we went to Hughes Supply where we had a great selection of plumbing fixtures, cabinet handles, etc. We worked with Kare, a great designer and extremely knowledgeable about pluming products. We then went to Arizona Fireplace to select our new fireplace. We got exactly what we wanted.
Finally, we went to The Yard to select our countertops. What a superb selection they had at very reasonable costs. This was 3 days of enjoyable shopping, learning about different styles, functionality and product quality.
(3) Building is the demolition and construction phase. In this phase they assigned a Project Superintendent who, on a daily basis, managed and coordinated the construction schedule, workforce and oversaw work quality. If you are familiar with construction projects, you know that nothing goes totally as planned. So we had our share of minor delays, missing materials and redoes and some frustrations. The great news is Craig, our Super, handled everything, kept us informed and at the end we had what we had originally deigned for and wanted. While the management team was first class, you don’t get quality deliverables if the hands-on works aren’t good. Well Legacy has the finest Master Carpenters, Cabinet and Iron works people I have ever met. Floyd, our Master Carpenter, who installed our cabinets and did other trim work treated this project like he was doing his own home and his wife was looking over his shoulder. He checked, measured, touched up every cabinet, cabinet door and door handle until it was 100% perfect. We were satisfied with the quality a lot sooner than Floyd.
(4) Closeout is the final walkthrough which went quickly and easily. The main reason is that Ritch, Production Manager had everything 100% complete. This included the Punch List (of only 5 minor items), the financial reconciliation and a completely clean, painted and polished areas that was the construction site.
Now we are enjoying our remodeled home knowing that we have a 2 years warranty for anything. You just can’t go wrong with a company that ensures quality of workmanship and products throughout their process which includes the vendors and subcontractors.

I highly recommend Sun Country and Steve Garrett. As a Realtor in Scottsdale, AZ I have seen lots of home renovations, some good and some not so good. Steve took his time listening to the home owners wants and went above and beyond to deliver the vision the home owner had for this luxury home renovation. Kelley and his crew were fantastic. When I first heard about them I was only in the area for a few days and they made time to come meet with me at a property that I was looking at purchasing for my son, who is in a wheelchair, to live in. They not only worked with my schedule but sent me a bid the next day! That property fell through but when the next one came up Kelley met our realtor and son at the property and again got me a bid in record time. They remolded the bathroom to make it full accessible, took out some walls and obstacles in the kitchen to make it very functional for my son, and added ramps to the exterior doors that you do not realize are there. All of the work was top quality and they finished way ahead of schedule. Finally, when it was almost time for my son to move in we realized hat we had forgotten a very important grab bar. Kelley got it ordered and installed before he moved in. I would highly endorse them!!!

Home Concepts Custom Remodeling team were brilliant! They came recommended, with several other people in our apartment building having used them, and they renovated our bathroom. They were always reliable, easy to communicate with, and their work was excellent. Thanks guys!

I'm not one to write reviews or post online; however, it would be a disservice to not share our experience with anyone looking to remodel. I posted the before and after pictures for visual reference. West Haven Builders did a phenomenal job with our kitchen remodel. They listened to what we envisioned and turned it into a reality. They were professional, responsive, and provided quality service as well as outcomes. Paul and the team from Neoteric Builders are extremely professional and great communicators. They were willing to work around our schedule to get our kitchen remodel completed in the shortest amount of time. They told us what to expect every day and delivered on that promise.

In getting to know Trevor I've realized that his attention to detail is unmatched. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. I definitely be referring him and using him in the future

Luxury Bath of Phoenix did a great job of tearing out the existing shower and replacing it with a new jetted bathtub/shower. They were very experienced and did a fantastic job with the installation. They were also very personable and professional and I would definitely recommend them to anyone contemplating a similar project

Breached our contract.they did nothing but measure the bathroom.do not use this company.

You don't EVER want to do business with these people. From integrity and honesty in the contracting and change order process (FAIL); to the scheduling and actually producing people to do work on schedule (Massive FAIL); to actually producing the schedule that they promise in their advertising but never produced until I complained about it, and then never came close to meeting (FAIL); to simple competence in translating their promises into drawings and contract language (FAIL), to the ability to perform the work with anything that looked like pride of workmanship, attention to detail, or even minimal competence (Massive FAIL as evidenced by the plumber who installed shower heads at a height lower than my head, and a bathtub that is leaking on and probably *under* our floor right now); to the price gouging for change orders to do what they promised to do in the first place (we said we would remove that soffit, but if you want that to look like it was done right and not leave a big scar across your ceiling, that will be a change order and more money -- another FAIL); to the screwed up master bathroom that left me paying for an entire slab of very expensive Azul Bahia granite from which we got a single lavatory countertop, and cabinets with a Frankenstein patch (big FAIL); to the claim that we would save money by purchasing through RWR at contractor's prices (another FAIL -- it took me one email to Spencer's Appliances to get the kitchen appliances for less money than RWR offered, and a couple of emails to Papagno's to discover that we were being gouged on the granite countertops); to the lack of respect for my property (including drywall mud inside a brand new thermostat for a brand-new $20,000 air conditioning system, damage to a glass pest border even after I warned them of the risk and offered to have it removed and replaced after their work was done -- no need for that, they said, and then ruined it with sloppy stucco work on the side of the house and breaking the glass under the front door); the list goes on and on. The substandard work was only corrected if and when I caught it and complained about it -- for just one example, they installed a medicine cabinet and broke the glass during the install. They turned the house over to me with the medicine cabinet broken, and didn't say a word about it. That's the way they operated and dealt with me from start to finish. When we have recovered from this experience, I'm going to have to hire another company to come back and fix the master bathroom so that we get plumbing that doesn't leak, and a room that actually looks like what we wanted. We didn't get that from these people. You don't EVER want to do business with Republic West Remodeling.
