From the beginning Ricardo was awesome. Really honest and upfront about our roofing project. I quoted four other valley roofing and remodeling companies and Graco’s product was the same and their price was really competitive. Went with them and are really happy with the result of the work and the customer service. Day before work was scheduled it rained and our roof finally started leaking, called Ricardo and he came out same day, covered it with a tarp (while it was raining) and he also went into the attic to check it out. Our experience with Legacy was great! I highly recommend them. My wife and I get nervous whenever we just need a handyman. As two women, we figure men know we have no idea what things cost. We've been taken advantage of in that way before. From the moment we met the staff until the very end we trusted that we chose the best team. Our project manager was James. He was so great! It was nice having him around. We felt safe. If you get him on your team, huge bonus! We initially got in contact with several contractors and decided to go with Legacy because of their professionalism, organization and their experience. It just felt like a good fit from the beginning. We needed to take care of some flooding issues and we wanted to expand our master bedroom. Jean, the talented architect, came up with an awesome plan and so far we've had no flooding! (Knock on wood.) They took a little bit longer than we expected to finish the project but only by about a week. We love the way everything looks! It turned out even better than we expected. Steve and his team renovated our 1950s Arcadia Lite home this summer. We met with nearly 10 contractors to get quotes and Steve's pricing and schedule were in line with or better than most but we went with Steve based on the comfort level we had with him after our first meeting. Steve asks all the right questions and provided suggestions and inputs that made our project so much better. Our work included removing multiple load bearing walls and installing beams in our ceiling and support footers; associated drywall work and some additional drywall work; installation of all new flooring and baseboards; retexturizing of the entire great room ceiling; movement of electrical switches and outlets and installation of new recessed lighting and chandeliers/fixtures; plumbing in our laundry room; addition of a tankless water heater and the associated electrical work; removal of microwave and cabinetry and replacement with a range hood and accent backsplash in the kitchen; and the addition of an island in our kitchen. Steve was a great communicator and the only reason the project took longer and cost more than originally quoted was because of work scope we added. In fact, Steve offset some of that increased cost with cost reductions in other areas. We couldn't be happier with the results and when we complete additional renovations over time in our home we will contact Sun Country Renovations without question.

A great family run business! Robert worked with us on two rooms, including flooring and drywall work. He was responsive and hard working, communicating regularly and finished the work faster than he originally projected. Of all the contractors we spoke with, his pricing was the fairest and, by far, the quality of work was above and beyond our expectations. Trevor is one of the nicest contractors I’ve worked with. He is very knowledgeable in just about everything and will do his due diligence if he isn’t familiar with something. He is very honest and very competitive with pricing. I would highly recommend him for any project you have in mind.

Premium services. As a repeat customer I requested mask and shoe covers, which were honored. Floors and furniture were covered before any work began. Finished project, four canned lights for living room and two canned lights for closet. These updates and upgrades have made a huge difference to our home.

AZ Neighbor is a very experienced construction company that had the resources and connections to get our job done. We knew what we wanted except for some pesky details. When we wanted cabinets that matched the material and finish of existing cabinets they were able to go outside of their normal process to get them. Both the design department and the project manager / crew foreman were exceptionally easy to work with and had great ideas for those pesky problems. The results were even better than we had envisioned.
We definitely recommend them and will invite them to bid on future projects on our house.

Recently had an interior door widened to permit wheelchair access at my son's group home. Republic West sent a terrific carpenter to do the job. He arrived promptly and immediately prepared the area to keep it as clean as possible. He worked steadily and efficiently during the three hours and the final job is excellent. When finished, he was quite thorough in cleaning up the mess. No one could guess this was not the original door, frame, and moulding. Assuming his work is indicative of the quality of remodeling done by Republic West, I will recommend them to others. (P.S. Our wheelchair users send a great big THANK YOU!)

Had them out for 2 bids on different projects
1st bid- kitchen, came in 8k below other vendors but had limited cabinet selection so we opted elsewhere. Salesman was very nice

2nd bid- extension to home, asked for same salesman and was told he no longer worked there, no big deal, send the next guy. New guy shows up, asks lots of questions about the project and asks where budget needs to be. I give him a range and he leaves. Calls me that afternoon and refuses to give me the price over the phone, insists we meet in person. Arrives at 630am instead of 7 (called me at 615 to tell me he would be early). Shows up with a bid that is 23k above what I told him I needed to be at to even consider the job.

Keeps asking me what would it take to get the work after I tell him that's not affordable and we already had a better bid. Salesman then insists on questioning the other contractor and his qualifications rather than re-examining his numbers. Finally, he leaves (no mask on during either visits during the peak of COVID).

Calls me later to tell me him and the boss accidentally added a fee 2x and would now be 8k cheaper, but still over by 15k. Still not interested. His boss calls immediately after and leaves a voicemail asking for a run down of the other contractors bid because it's bizarre someone is cheaper.

Didn't hire them for either project and ended up blocking the salesman because he wouldn't take no for an answer.

Leaving 2 stars because the first experience was great and price was competitive.
