My experience with Day and Night has been fantastic. They have the best customer service - and that goes for the persons who answer the phone to the technician who comes out. I had installed a level 2 EV charger at my home and I needed someone to come and make sure it was working okay. The guy that came was super nice. He told me I needed to change the breaker in the breaker box from a 50amp to a 40amp but everything else looked okay. I made the change and ever since then I’ve had nothing but problems with my charger. The plug itself started overheating, the holder that the wiring and the plug was put into in the wall melted and started burning, the charger when it was plugged into the plug melted the plastic off and now the charger is basically unusable. I reached out to our builders electrician and he told me I shouldn’t have changed anything and I should go back to the original setup. Now I have to buy a new charger which is $700 and buy all new parts for the wall outlet.
