Best Heating And Cooling in Phoenix AZ

Installation of a new unit. Prior unit was 15 years old and struggled to keep home cool. Phx Air scheduled within a few days for replacement and new unit was up and running within 5 hours! Techs were on time and courteous to answer all questions. Evenings in the home now are enjoyable with the even airflow. Cheers ? to another fifteen years with the new unit!

My home did not have an air conditioning on it when it was purchased so I reached out to a couple companies to get quotes and Prestige Mechanical gave me a good quote and I liked the vibe of the company.

I spend over 14 thousand dollars with Prestige Mechanical installing this new unit and the owner of the company said the existing duct work would be fine. Once the AC was installed I have 2 rooms that are still extremely hot and have cold spots in the rest of the house. This had to do with them tie-ing into the existing duct work and not installing any baffles to help with this air flow. Once I reached out to the company to complain about this the owner came out and measured the vents and than gave me another quote to fix this. How was this not included in the original quote?

Also during the pre-installation I told the company I wanted to use the existing hole in the roof from the swamp cooler and they said you should do a new one and if you get your swamp cooler fixed you can utilize both based on the time of year since it is cheaper. I agreed and later in the install I saw they removed my existing swamp cooler and the electrical to the switch and the switch itself to make the swamp even work so it could not be replaced. Than put a thin metal plate over the hole in the roof and now every time it rains it is extremely loud in the home like I have a thin metal roof.

These are the two big issues I had with this install even though their were multiple other issues I encountered along the way including me hearing the install guys in the attic talk about how dirty my existing vents were but said that's okay just do not tell the home owner

I would not recommend using this company to anyone and I am still living with 2 rooms in my house I do not even use in the summer because of the temperature. Spending this much money with a company you expect the install to be at least up to usable standards.

Have an outside water leak...most likely city pipe coming to the house - called a couple of the well-known folks and they were all anxious to write a quote, but less anxious to stop the leak. Second Opinion came out as scheduled...worked to find and stop the leak, and then develop a plan for a permanent solution - Charlie their guy...was courteous, knowledgeable and hard working. I have found my guys......

Great service, great response time, very competitive.

Had a problem with our walk in wine cellar, having lots of valuable wine it was imperative to address the problem quick and properly the first time. I'm happy to say CR Custom Services went beyond all of my expectations. What makes it better is that they are a full HVAC company, so now they take care of all my cooling and heating needs, including our wine cellar. Great company.

I have owned my AC unit for 8 years and have had to do little-to-no maintenance in that time. As of late I had noticed that my unit was running longer and longer to achieve the temperature we had set in the house.

I called Shawn out after having a bad experience with the big box companies and hoped for a good, honest review of what I needed to do to my AC. Shawn did that, and then some! He was very informative of everything he was doing to my system, and for what reason. He was also just a very likeable guy with great conversation.

My unit ended up being undercharged and required some freon. He got me all fixed up, and two days after his service, I can immediately tell the difference the moment I walk in my door from work.

I wanted to leave some feedback for him because I am extremely happy with his services and will be calling him back for my future needs. I now am proud to say that I have an AC guy I can trust! Thanks for everything Shawn.

Tried to get AC maintenance. They canceled on me twice and never contacted me to do a reschedule. I had to call my home warranty company to get another company scheduled because not even they could get in touch with Consolidated Mechanical. I understand being backed up, but don't accept jobs you can't do, customers have busy schedules, too. Update: They called me today to tell me they aren't doing any maintenance...a month after they were supposed to be out. Hilarious. I went with Semper Fi, which only cost me $17.50, they were out the next day. I need a new AC soon, so going to buy one from them, too.
