Best Repair Or Replacement in Fort Worth TX

Team Enoch Fort Worth Plumber
My AC unit was tripping the breaker regularly. I had another company out to see what was wrong and they were trying to tell me that I needed an entire new system. $8000. I decided to get a second opinion and called Enoch. I believe the gentleman that came out was named Noah (?sorry). He immediately saw that the problem was a faulty fuse in the breaker box. He fixed it very quickly, explained what he had done and was on his way. I highly recommend Enoch for your HVAC needs.

American Leak Detection of Fort Worth Plumber
I don't want to even give the 1 star. I didn't choose them, my insurance company did and I've informed them to removed this company from their list. I have 2 separate issues with this company.
1. they charged $1300 to install a 2nd clean out in order to do the leak detection. I'm not a plumber. The plumber asked me if I had any other clean outs and I asked if they looked like the one coming out of the ground. He said yes. I told him I haven't seen any others coming out of the ground. He takes my word for it (i'm not a plumber) and orders this $1300 2nd clean out. Come to find out, had he put some effort into it and walked around the house, he would have found the 2nd clean out on the back of my house. Thanks Horacio.
2. He runs his leak detection and states that the commode riser in the master bathroom is broken. I didn't go with their bid because it was very high. $2550. I had a different plumber come out to do the work for $1000. This plumber penetrates the slab and gets down to the commode riser and there isn't a break there. He ran his camera and found the break was six feet away from the toilet. So I'm paying $1000 for something that didn't need to be done plus I'll have to pay for the repair where there is actually a break in the line. Thanks again Horacio.
And thanks American Leak Detection.
Susan wasn't very friendly during the whole process either.

I can only hope cypress has dropped you from their preferred vendor. Cypress stepped up and reimbursed me for the needless expenditure incurred due to your ineptitude. I wish they'd go after yall to get their money back.
I no longer need anything from you and will not remove any negative reviews i've posted and will continue to spread the word about American Leak detection

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
