Our bathroom ended up draining really slow/slightly clogged that we were only able to take 30 seconds-1 minute showers which made it very inconvenient. It was Friday night when it started happening and I worried that no one would be able to come because it was the weekend.

I ended up looking around Yelp and found a few. The previous location we had used before was quoting us $192 for a snake ($175, but after tax would've been around $192), and even insisted we hydrojet which would've cost us even more. Then I found Rooter Man which had a special for $49, but when I called the operator specified it's only $49 if our drain was easily accessible via a cleanout, and $125 if there wasn't a cleanout access and a normal snaking would be done. I honestly wasn't even sure what a cleanout was and assumed maybe we had one and the snaking process was the cheapest one quoted so far. I was getting desperate since it was already late afternoon. I really wanted things fixed/cleaned before night time (where people would be showering and heading to bed) so I decided to go with them and scheduled a same day appointment of 3:00PM.

I was glad that the operator was very helpful as she had attempted to explain all the plumbing lingo and their system was also very on top of keeping me updated with calls of when our technician, Jesse, would be arriving. Jesse arrived on time and was very friendly, he told us that since we had a standup shower, those don't have cleanouts and a regular snaking would be done instead. I don't know if the no cleanout for standup showers is true or not but he was here already, I mind as well just regular snake it.

It took about 30 minutes, but Jesse was able to clean out a few balls of hair that was clogging deep into our drain. We tested it and water was draining perfectly again. Before he left, Jesse gave us tips like: buy a shower drain hair catcher (especially for women with long hair) if we wanted to prevent hair from collecting in the drain too often.

It's a breath of fresh air to do business with an honest, reliable company, that went above and beyond. I had a whole house re-piping and also had my water heater moved from inside my house to the outside. Everything was done at a very reasonable price. Very neat and clean, work was done in a timely manner and with minimum disruptions. AJ even walked my dog, played with her and gave her treats. Other contractors need to use AJ and his company as an example of how business should be done.

Had a stubborn clog in our kitchen sink and I called Plumbing Works and spoke to Dery. He was able to send someone over to look at it that same afternoon. Christian was able to unclog our sink and we haven't had any problems since. Work was done efficiently and professionally. Definitely using them again.

When we were going to run a outdoor natural gas line for a Grill and Fire Pit we received six bids. We wanted to make sure of a good job as Gas leaks are very dangerous. Vance from Cleveland Plumbing not only gave us the best bid, but supplied us with top quality parts for the job. The perfect customer service and meeting our work schedule, was perfect. They finished the job a day early and you could not even tell it had just been done. Our outdoor party went off with a perfect success. We grilled food for 35 guest and the fire pit was a hit of the party with the cool weather we have been having.

I was directed to this company from socalgas for my water heater issue. Got diagnosed and told for pilot assembly and gas controller issue. I am not an expert so I had to go by the guys who are claiming ‘experts’ themselves. I was given the estimate of $525 to fix the issue and the technician said it would be an hour work job. Since it was an emergency, I even paid the express shipping fee to order the parts.

For the estimate I was given compared to the time required to fix totally did match for me so I had a handyman I know to come and look at it. He diagnosd for gas connect issue and fixed it in 10 minutes without replacing any parts and all the complicated work process.

I called the company again spoke to the manager but they only went by the manual and gave the estimate based on their rates and blah blah. They could have been right and how I resolved my issue could be only temporary, but, if this company/technician really concerned about my issue he could had done the same thing and fix ‘temporarily’ since we had been asserting the issue is emergent since the issue is at my business rather than just giving me the $525 repair estimate cost in the beginning. In results, I am still waiting for the parts that I didn’t even get to see those yet that I paid for express and paid diagnosis did not help me at all.

Be aware when you deal with the company.

My wife and I had a great experience with Old Towne. Carl Shields helped us get a new A/C system for our home after our old one started giving us some trouble.
