We bought our first home and one of our projects was to find help for the plumbing. After researching different companies online, we called Clean-Out Kings for a quote. They were flexible with scheduling and provided a detailed quote based on what we needed done. They were able to handle both water plumbing and gas plumbing, AND we got a great rebate on a tankless water heater! Brian and Angel were really friendly and helped explain what they were doing, as well as provided an estimated timeline for completion. On a 4 day project, they finished a day early. As with any renovation of a 50+ year old house, they identified some issues that we were not aware of. One being the roots blocking our sewer pipe. Brian quickly identified the problem area and explained to us our options, including pricing breakdown. We opted for the more permanent solution to protect our sewer line. They managed to dig, clean, and install the liner all in one day. Thankfully with their expert guidance, this is an issue we will no longer have to worry about. Since we have been doing a lot of the other home improvements ourselves, Brian let us know they have additional flexible scheduling for when they need to come back for the finishing touches. Thank you so much Brian and Angel for your help!

We were in a urgent situation to make a shower installation pipe correction. We found Jeremy of JLB and after I talked to him via FaceTime explained the situation, i agreed to give him a try. Jeremy showed up on next morning 830 as agreed, discussed with my about his proposed solutions, covered the floor of working area, and he pretty much fixed the issue after 2 hours. Jeremy was very responsive, honest and professional, I would use him again and recommend others.

I called the company at last minute notice because I was having issues with my water heater leaking. They were able to come to my residence on such short notice to see what the issue was. Turns out my water heater was broken and unsalvageable, i was able to get the water heater removed and a new one installed at a very reasonable price. The workers were very professional and knew what they were doing. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

I had a huge flood in my basement I called water damage restoration in Orange County and they were super professional they came same day late at night and they extract the entire water from the basement.
At the same time, they removed all the wet Sheetrock to prevent turning into mold the also left commercial dehumidifiers and fans for 4 days when they came after 4 days to pick the machines. Very professional setup, and to make sure that all the water damage was gone. They were super fast and professional and the crew was very nice all the way in the process I highly recommend them to anybody that needs an emergency service thank you guys!!!!

I was directed to this company from socalgas for my water heater issue. Got diagnosed and told for pilot assembly and gas controller issue. I am not an expert so I had to go by the guys who are claiming ‘experts’ themselves. I was given the estimate of $525 to fix the issue and the technician said it would be an hour work job. Since it was an emergency, I even paid the express shipping fee to order the parts.
For the estimate I was given compared to the time required to fix totally did match for me so I had a handyman I know to come and look at it. He diagnosd for gas connect issue and fixed it in 10 minutes without replacing any parts and all the complicated work process.
I called the company again spoke to the manager but they only went by the manual and gave the estimate based on their rates and blah blah. They could have been right and how I resolved my issue could be only temporary, but, if this company/technician really concerned about my issue he could had done the same thing and fix ‘temporarily’ since we had been asserting the issue is emergent since the issue is at my business rather than just giving me the $525 repair estimate cost in the beginning. In results, I am still waiting for the parts that I didn’t even get to see those yet that I paid for express and paid diagnosis did not help me at all.
Be aware when you deal with the company.

Old Towne Plumbing is a scammy company. I have a tenant who believed she had mold in her unit, so she called this company. Carl Shields came out and told her it was bad. I spoke to him and he told me it was bad and would need all sorts of expensive work. To prove it, he told me would come back to the unit with a camera and take pictures of the insides of the walls. He said he would hire a 3rd party company to take samples and do testing. Shields quoted me at $800 for the testing and told me that everything else would be part of a free estimate.
Everything about him seemed fishy, but I was very busy with other work at the time and my tenant was so convinced she was getting sick due to mold. I told Shields to send me a work contract before doing any testing. He never sent the work contract nor did I sign anything; he scheduled with the tenant and came in there to do the testing anyway and tried to bill me for $1,210.
When I objected to the extra $410 in extraneous charges, instead of addressing them, Shields started to accuse me of being an absentee landlord.
I don’t know how many plumbing companies out there make their work on predatory practices like this, but this is the first time I’ve ever come across it. Steer clear of this company!
