We dealt with two different contractors prior to this one. We had a horrible and unprofessional service from those two. One did not want to put on the boot covers when entering to the house nor considered of bringing one. We told him the issue, he used the stopper and solved the issue no more than 10mins. The issue was not resolved and he refused to used snake to clean the pipe and asked us to pay more to modified the pipe if we want it to be fixed. The other contractor didn’t refused to wear boot covers but not happy to put it on as we personally felt he was force to. Spent no more than 5 mins of listening to our story and concluded we need a clean out with extra charge of $775. He didn’t even mentioned anything about snaking. But with Michael from Scott English company, its a whole different story. He brought his own boot cover and wore before entered into the house. He listened to our situation attentively and asked further questions to understand more. After showing him around, he gave us the price with snaking and hands-on the job immediately. We thought were just quoting first then rescheduled to come back to work on it. With this result, it tells us how considerate person he is and put our situation as priority. We were surprised how he could possibly snake it when other two contractors already said they can’t. We told him that based on those previous contractor said there was no access so they couldn’t snake it. He looked puzzled and asked us how come they can’t have access. While he asked, he made it happen. Then come to realize, because the snake machine is too heavy and our kitchen is upstairs, most likely those two contractors were just too lazy and didn’t want to do the job. Not only he performed snaking with no hesitation, he spent hours to solve the issue of leaking, and we didn’t feel he was in rush because it was getting quite late. We truly appreciate his consideration just the way he explains things, carried that heavy tool up to the stairs, make no loud noise because he was very cautious with the neighbor and had his own boot cover consistently the entire time. We are very please and satisfied with his work and would definitely refer Scott English to friends and families, and especially refer Michael.

Had a few items that needed repair out in North Tustin. This company had a very quick response time and Sean, the plumber, was awesome. He explained in great detail exactly what needed to be done and found parts and prices immediately. Highly recommend this company and ask for Sean.

I don’t often write reviews, only when an organization has excellent customer service, or if there is a real need to caution others about pitfalls. Unfortunately, our drain cleaning job was extremely challenging. We had three other plumbers try and fail before Barker & Sons came through brilliantly.All of the other plumbers selected had good reviews on Yelp and Google Maps, but either felt like small operations where you had to chase down with a bit of text/phone tag, or like large national organizations where you were talking to order takers and salesman a bit more than a plumber. However they seemed professional enough and reviews were positive.Some were better equipped than others and in all honesty they did try. Generally, they had good attitudes, but none could complete the job. One, after an hour of trying offered to keep working with no guarantees, but a huge hourly price tag to keep working. None of them charged after failing, however. Enter Barker & Sons.I reviewed their website, and it was very professional, really quite nice and stood out from everything else I had seen. Front end staff were very nice, easy to reach, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really seemed to be on top of their customer service game from the start. It was clear they were very customer service oriented.When their team arrived, they were very professional, and had the right equipment. It was an incredibly difficult job, but they stuck with it until it was done. Given all the challenges, and the way each challenge was faced, they were a great value. I was impressed that in the face of a difficult job they made it clear how each phase would be approached, what the likelihood of success would be, and what the next step options and costs would be if needed.I was never worrying about an open ended commitment to “whatever it takes” without understanding the final costs which is very nice when you have a significant and growing plumbing issue.Derek was an excellent plumber, and Cody was enthusiastic with a good attitude but still learning, so pairing with Derek was a great way to grow the organization professionally. There was one small, very understandable accident that required some repairs, totally unrelated to the plumbing job.This is where they really shined in Customer Support, a true role model for others who want to grow should emulate. It is why I, who seldom write reviews, am taking the time to support amazing customer service. Everyone in this organization can be really proud of who they work for.When I contacted the office, they were already aware of it, because Derek informed them. They not only returned all calls promptly, they immediately said “no problem“ paying, to get it taken care of without even knowing what the cost would be.I would be remiss if I did not mention that Cat was absolutely perfect as the face of the organization during this difficult time. She represented the owner's business ethics, true respect for the customers future business, and the value of referral marketing.The customer service staff was helpful across the board. I actually felt bad and thought that the price I was being quoted for the accidental repairs needed was too high and expected it to be an issue, but there were no questions, just “send us the invoice and we will take care of it”.Since I felt the price was too high, and they were so nice, I shopped around a little more. I didn’t get the price I wanted, but at least I got the repair price down and saved them a little money.They are truly first class, and there’s no question that they are at the top of our list for all future plumbing needs. Highly recommend Barker & Sons, especially if you are lucky enough to have Derek and Cody work on your job.

40 dollar quote became 1200 $! They convinced me to not rooter but hydrowash my pipe. Modern day robber. Don't hire Isaiah the plumber. Rude. Told me to wake up and call him when I'm ready.....I hired another plumber that charged me 150 for my toilet clean out. I think if you canvass right 60 $ per clogged sink is reasonable. I called about 20 plumbers and thats average. Hope my research helps you.

Orlando, Jacob and the crew came out to repair some clogs we had in out front yard. The project ended up being astronomically biggger than we initially conceived but the crew kept me in the loop at every stage of work. They were extremely kind, professional, amicable and honest. I didn't feel deceived when things came up and trusted them completely at the first sign of trouble. They ended up also installing and supplying a water heater a day after we requested one. They were also communicative and reliable and came to help at the drop of a hat.

I don't think I'll trust anyone other than these boys with my plumbing, heating and other issues around the house.
