We had Levine and Sons install our furnace, A/C and some new ductwork in 7/2016, and we have been working extremely satisfied.In the last few weeks, as we had weather going between cold and hot, we noticed that our outdoor compressor wasn’t running. We contacted Levine and Sons on line and were able to schedule a service evaluation in their site. We could have actually had them come on Memorial Day, but opted for the day after.Technician Chaim Zeiler arrived on time after we were advised he was on his way. Chaim, an obviously highly experienced tech, asked about our problem, ensured the thermostat was running right, evaluated our furnace, checked the filter, (we thankfully had a spare!), and then proceeded to give our compressor a thorough evaluation.The repair was thankfully a relatively simple one, but in the process, Chaim gave us a great education in how the whole system works, cleaned the condenser, tested the connections to the outdoor fuse, checked and regulated the refrigerant levels and made certain everything was running exactly the way it should.We have used Levine and Sons to do extensive plumbing repairs and boiler maintenance at my mom’s and now we are happy to continue to have them provide great equipment and only the highest quality service on same. We can recommend Chaim Zeiler wholeheartedly as a tech we’d be happy and relieved to come to our home and Levine and Sons as our only go-to for heating, cooling, and plumbing.

May 23, 2023 Scott came to my home to repair a water heater. Very pleasant and professional, finished the job and went out of his way to leave to get the part and come back to finish the job. However, I opted for an email receipt which came but it did not have a breakdown of costs just the total that I paid. What company doesn't give a breakdown of costs to the customer? This was Tuesday May 23 and It's Thursday now and I have been requesting an itemized receipt since Tuesday, because the water heater company will reimburse the parts. I have been told it has to go to accounting, I have also been told that the man that handles the receipts is really busy. I have asked to speak to a manager and was told they will have him call me. My next avenue is going to the shop in Dearborn to get to the bottom of this. Very frustrated with this company. Today May 31 is day 8, still waiting on itemized receipt. Called the office, was told they don't do itemized receipts. Asked to speak to management, sorry no one is here at this time, not sure when someone will be available. Posted reviews for this company on Yelp, BBB, here and Angi. Hopefully, people will look at reviews before hiring.
