I called Chicago Water Heater and Plumbing Specialists after my water heater finally gave it up after 15 years. Sam returned my call within 20 minutes and came out for an assessment the same day. He took the time to explain my options and answered all my questions. I decided to go with the same brand of water heater, an American-made Bradford White, because my old model had served me well for so long. I also wanted to avoid dealing with the big box stores. Sam gave me an estimate that was reasonable for an upgraded 50 gallon tank, and, to my surprise, was able to schedule the installation for the next day. He arrived on time, and despite an unforeseen issue with a flue pipe that he quickly resolved, he completed the installation in about two hours. Very thorough, explained everything clearly, and even swept up when he finished. I am very pleased with the product and the level of service.

My partner and I had been getting price quotes to replace our 50 gallon water heater and contacted 4 plumbing companies. We received quotes that were astronomical and knew that the upfront cost would be expensive however enter REI Plumbing and Donal Reilly. He could not have been more professional in answering our questions and never ever did he use any sales tactics. We received a price quote with a breakdown of what would be done and immediately knew we would be having REI do the work. Carlos 1 and Carlos 2 showed up exactly on time and were very nice and showed care and concern for our home and keeping things neat and tidy. They did such a great job on the installation and with the copper pipe installed it looks like a work of art. We can't begin to thank Donal, and both Carlos 1 and Carlos 2 for such a great job!! Do yourself a favor if you are looking for price quotes and call the team at REI because you won't regret it!! We now have a plumber we trust and won't hesitate to call anytime we need work done.

Andrei and his team are amazing! Extremely responsive and on time for the job. When it comes to plumbing issues, these two things are extremely important. The quality of their work is also great! I used them for small and large projects and the work was outstanding!

Sherri arrived on time, super informative and efficient. Quality of painting and electrical work was five stars. Awesome to get things fixed and done that just don't get done these days, with a smile and quickly along with great attention to detail. Five stars across the board. When our upstairs tub began leaking into the room below, Ryan and Christian promptly came out and dealt with the issue. We are a covid-cautious household, and both of them wore masks while inside our home. Ryan took the time to explain the work that had been done in layman's terms. River from Fix It People did an amazing job! He was on time, professional, friendly, and did great work! We had some plumbing and electrical work that we needed done - a faucet replaced and a light fixture hung, and he was efficient and able to get around a bunch of issues, like a missing mount and a bolt being too short. He explained everything he was doing really clearly and went out of his way to make sure that work looked good. I will definitely be calling them again for other handyman work!

I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!
