Best Fix Burst Pipe in Chicago IL

Andrew #2658 literally saved our Christmas. Our drain pipe in our laundry room started backing up water as we started to prep for family for the holidays. He was at our house within an hour and a half of us calling Roto-Rooter. Andrew took the time to explain to us what he was going to do, and how he thought he would be able to solve the issue. When a second tech needed to be called in he again explained everything, what that person would be doing, and assured us he is continuing to work to resolve the issue. Mind you all this after hours on the night before Christmas Eve. We went from sewer water backing up and not being able to flush our toilets to him remedying the issue enough to the drains flow and we didn't have to call off our family dinner. My family can not express enough how much we appreciated Andrew and his hard work.

The plumbers were responsive and did a great job handling a tricky plumbing issue for us. We were worried but they managed to save the day for us. The plumber showed up on time and gave us a fair price.

This is the second toilet installation we’ve had done (different bathrooms). The staff is very professional and accommodating; he already had shoe covers on and offered to wear a mask when he saw I wore one. The work was completed quickly and the area was left clean. Recommend to others.

We've hired them twice now. There wasn't any problem with the guys' professionalism, attitude or the work they did. Be aware though, that they charge a flat rate determined by the job to be done. Since any two jobs are not necessarily, completely identical, you might end up paying for 2 hrs of work when only 30 min. was needed.

Plumber was due 11-3; he arrived at 3; he left at 3:18. He was rude and arrogant. I was quoted a price for an hour of service; he added on $40 for a nut or bolt that he used. You live and learn; I will not use this service again.

Kavana's Plumbing and Heating is an excellent service in an emergency. They were able to fix
a busted pipe in our home in a timely and efficient manner and also provide preventative suggestions. My family appreciated their help. I would definitely recommend his service to others.

Had Ken from Sam's Plumbing And Rodding install a new kitchen sink and fix a leak in the bathtub. He was extremely courteous and professional. The company was quick to send him back after I wanted him to check on the fix the next day, no charges. He made recommendations on things I could change but didn’t push for any “fixes”. The technician (Manny) was very punctual and professional. He repaired the problem and offered additional information about my home that I never knew. I do feel the price was a bit high but hey my problem was fixed expeditiously.

For an early Saturday drain overflow they wanted $200 emergency or after-hours surcharge above and beyond the service cost to rod out the drain. I found another local company who didn't charge the exorbitant fee, and I'm glad I did!
