Goode Plumbing Plumber
Goode is a full service, highly professional, and highly knowledgeable plumber. I trust them with my home. They usually are not the cheapest option, but like folks used to say about hiring IBM, you’ll never go wrong with Goode. Most recently, Mike K came to my home to deal with an issue that an independent plumber just couldn’t handle. Not only was the issue resolved, but I was filled with confidence that it was handled the right way by his depth of knowledge and experience.

Burris & Sons Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Plumber
3 weeks ago, the owner of the company came out to repair my outdoor water faucet that wouldn’t shut off. When he arrived he was unable to repair it at the time because he said I needed a part. He took my broken part with him so that he could purchase the proper part and scheduled to come back 2 days later. At this visit he charged me $145 service fee although the job was not complete. I asked can I pay half now and the other half after completion on the 2nd visit and he said no. Needless to say he never showed up for the 2nd visit to actually fix the problem. He was a no call, no show. Someone from his company called hours after the given appointment time frame saying he will not make it and someone will get back to me. I never received a call, I’ve called numerous times to inquire but no one answers the phone or returns my calls. This company was a complete ripoff, they took my money, never fixed the problem and then ignored me!

Rodding Rooter Plumber
I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

A A Anthony's Plumbing & Sewer Plumber
After our DIY renovation required more plumbing work than we expected, we called Tony on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate on what it would take to get our project back on track. Tony made time that very afternoon. He gave us a detailed overview of what was required, including options that would keep our kitchen up to code and was able to come back the following Monday to complete the work. Tony is also a licensed electrician and agreed to take care of some electrical work, saving us the time and energy finding another person to help with our project. A few short days later, we're back on track and ready to move on with our renovation. We can't thank Tony enough!

4S Plumbing Companies, Inc Plumber
Had a plumbing issue and they kept delaying on when they would show up for our appointment all day. The last time they said oh we couldn't get there until 8:00 p.m. is that okay and we said sure that's fine we just wanted to get this handled and then they never showed up and never called or texted after that. Terrible service.

Ed's Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. Plumber
I would never recommend Ed’s Plumbing and Sewer, Inc. they gauged an 84 year old woman $788 dollars to repair a garage spigot. See the attached invoice. The water heater was leaking too and they told her to watch it after a hot shower. Had someone else replace the heater $900. That plumber said spigot should have been$175 max . We got Ed’s Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. from the church bulletin. Calling the church next
