Best High Efficiency Gas Heating Systems in Boston MA

We've had situations where we needed to request McMahon Plumbing 3 times. The first 2 times were toilet flusher replacements and the most recent was a spring tune up for our compact gas furnace and water heater. Also, plumbing seems to always be some degree of emergency for the home owner. They've always made themselves same day available. Their attitude is not haphazzard or just good enough.

In all cases, we were completely satisfied with the work and their professionalism. Brian did 2 of our jobs. He was fully equipted with both mechanics and a smart analysis of our issues. Plumbing is much more sophisticated and complex these days. Brian worked continually when he was here, both polite and able to tell me what was wrong and how he would fix it. He was thorough, making sure the entire problem was addressed.

In terms of COVID19 protocols, they're masked, social distanced and even put booties on before entering the house. I think I am of the generation (71) where we tended to think plumbing was expensive. During these times you get what you pay for and these costs are inline and industry standards. They're worth it.

Rich came out the same day as my water heater died, with permits and a replacement in tow. He was thorough, prompt, professional and personable. He took time to explain the details of the system and how it worked. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely use him again.

Rich is a lifesaver! I called early on a Sunday morning with a leaking water heater. He came by within an hour to check that we’d contained the leak temporarily, and came back to fully replace the tank early the next day. He performed quality work and was very kind and easygoing. Amazing work by E Francis Plumbing & Heating! Not only was the quality of work and professionalism top notch, but they went above and beyond to ensure that my concerns were addressed. As a new homeowner, I had a list of repairs that needed to be addressed. Mike ensured that the gas pipe connected to my stove was completely secure by attaching a new piece of wood behind my drywall. Then, after hearing about my concern about mice coming through the remaining gap, he offered to fill the space with pest foam sealant. Definitely not part of his job requirements, but like I said above and beyond! Would highly recommend and will have them back for future jobs. Thanks, Mike!

Rich is a consummate professional. He completed an oil-to-gas conversion for us when our oil boiler failed. He thoroughly explained the process to us and was present throughout the process when other contractors needed to be involved. Rich was communicative throughout the process and considerate of our needs. He ensured that we were not without hot water throughout the furnace transition process and worked around our family schedules. We are very pleased with the final set up and are very grateful to Rich and Lori for their guidance, kindness, and conscientiousness throughout the project.
