After having a breakdown of a 11 year old water natural gas hot water heater we wanted to understand our options. After a visit from a local firm who after a cursory review provided some fairly generic options, we called Vincent from Aquaflow at the recommendation of a good friend who had Aquaflow update his heating system. Vincent was responsive, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable and took us through some options after a careful review of our systems.

We ended up deciding to install an indirect system powered by our heating system boiler - simpler, low maintenance, and very efficient. The pricing was reasonable, and the installation extremely professional and included fixing some longstanding issues in our heating system. We will plan to work with Vincent and the Aquaflow team for ongoing maintenance and would highly recommend him for any heating or hot water work..

We were not getting heat in a back bedroom. Tom came out and found out the previous folks must have had kid(s) who threw down all sorts of stuff down the ductwork. He cleaned our furnace and fixed our problem with a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Shouldn't look forward to having to call the plumber but the whole team is so pleasant and professional we do. Had them come out to Arlington twice in the past 2 months to do separate steam heat repairs on our newly purchased home and they were extremely responsive, helpful, reasonable and efficient. I had a great salesman, project manager, and professional technicians who gave me an above excellent HVAC steam boiler system and installation. In fact, I have to thank them for fitting us in a bind as we were without heat and with a newborn. However, the office cancelled our first appointment without communication, lost our payment check, and promised for a quote several times without follow up. If it wasn’t for these, i would be giving 5 stars if not 10 stars. They may be on the pricier side, but they do the job right and to code with professionals. Lastly, i give total props to the salesman. We were dead set on not picking Boston standard because the office cancelled our first appointment without notifying. However, the salesman impressed us, changed our minds on Boston standards hvac professionalism, and up-sale us by pointing out that our water heater was going out. I would like to thank him because he saved us from another headache and we really love the new equipment. Thank you Boston standard.
