McMahon plumbing was fast in scheduling a visit, were very clear up front about the costs (diagnosis and visit fee are independent whether the repair is carried out, as is usual)

The repair took two visits as the part required for the repair needed to be ordered. As a result I had two different technicians visit me. Both were professional, respectful and took the appropriate COVID safety precautions (they wore masks)

I have to tell you, the price was a little higher than what might be average and considering the repair. However, you get what you pay for.

Rich came out the same day as my water heater died, with permits and a replacement in tow. He was thorough, prompt, professional and personable. He took time to explain the details of the system and how it worked. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely use him again.

Had an appointment and they did not show up, call, or respond to my text asking if they were still coming. Now I have to find someone else to fix the leak under my sink. Very disappointing.

Rich is a consummate professional. He completed an oil-to-gas conversion for us when our oil boiler failed. He thoroughly explained the process to us and was present throughout the process when other contractors needed to be involved. Rich was communicative throughout the process and considerate of our needs. He ensured that we were not without hot water throughout the furnace transition process and worked around our family schedules. Artie looked at both outside faucets that I thought were leaking and also to see if he could install a bigger head to them so they would be easier for me to turn . He looked both inside and outside the house. Because my house is so old, the installation of these faucets made it difficult to do a straightforward repair. Artie gave me several options with prices and took time helping me decide. No pressure to choose the most expensive options. He had to swap out a pipe and cut out a portion of outside shingles to fit the new head. He didn’t have spray foam insulation on the truck so he went to National Lumber to get some and finished sealing the openings. He was skilled, friendly, knowledgeable and really helped me make the decisions that fit my needs and budget. A super plumber and guy! When I need plumbing again I will specifically ask for him!
