My husband broke off the pipe attached to the wall while replacing the faucet. We knew to call Cecelia’s Home Repairs because of all the good reviews and comments from our neighbours on NextDoor (app). They contacted me back right away and sent a plumber out the next morning, which was a Saturday. Michael did a fantastic job and even replaced our garbage disposal at the last minute. They are very affordable and we really appreciate their service. We’ll be calling them for all our plumbing needs.

Mike responded within minutes to our request for an estimate. I sent pictures of our roof damage and he was able to quote me via text. We had damage from TS Michael and needed some siding repaired/shingles replaced. The damage ended up being more in person so his quote only went up by $50 from the original - which was super reasonable. We just had to pick up the shingles and basically pay for labor. He came out to perform the work the next morning - super responsive. He said he's been doing work for more than 30 years and we felt his level of experience/professionalism the entire time. Dennis called me back within 5 minutes of my requesting help with my heating system and arrived within 30 minutes of the call. He diagnosed the problem, quoted the cost, put in new parts and finished the repair within 1 hour. Dennis was a very pleasant and professional gentleman.

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.
