We had a clogged bathtub and I called Pioneer because a friend of mine told me he used them with success. They were excellent. They did show up an hour late, but they called and told me this two hours prior so I could adjust. Things happen at sites, I get it, but they took the time and had the courtesy to call and tell me they were working on another clients problem still. That stood out to me because they wanted to take the time to fix an issue and still had the foresight to keep me in the loop. When they got to my place they were nice, efficient, and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. For that they get 5 stars.

A man named Mike from Roto-Rooter came to address what I thought to be a garbage disposal clog. He assessed that it was a clog in the pipes. I have a home warranty program I purchased so I needed to call them with the technician at my house. Mike acted annoyed and was very abrupt with the person on the line. After the call ,which after Mike's diagnosis wasn't covered because it was pipes, I told him that this may be annoying to him, but it's my money and I needed to make sure I was maximizing all my benefits I had available to me. His attitude did turn around and he ended the visit more friendly and helpful. It cost me $448.11 for him to remove carrots from the drain. He said he couldn't guarantee the work as the plumbing set up isn't correct. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely get a second opinion. They did come quickly and fix the problem which was appreciated.

Service performed was ok but it was way overcharged. 600+ dollars after getting 60 dollars discount - service performed was - ‘pull and reset toilet’. It didn’t take even 30 minutes to do it. For quotes even the serviceman couldn’t figure out what was the issue and suggest multiple ways to fix it - leaving for us to figure it out. Whats the purpose of paying 99 dollar if I have to figure out everything. Anyways - lesson learned and I wouldn’t recommend there service to anyone.
