Best Small Plumbing in San Diego CA

I’m in the process of purchasing a home and requested Emory’s Plumbing & Camera inspection in order to get a better idea of the state of the plumbing of the home I’m buying. However, I was not present at either inspection because I was on the East Coast for work.Emory Plumbing did what was expected of them; hence, me giving Emory three stars. They conducted an inspection and provided results. However, the manner in which this was conducted and the quality of the report left more to be desired. The visual inspection was completed without any issues. But when it came to the camera inspection, the technician could not complete it because there was no clean out. So, the technician had to come back another day to complete it. Therefore taking more time out of our day. I wonder if this could have been avoided if there were more detailed questions asked of me when I made the appointment and issues like this were anticipated by technicians. Additionally, Emory gives their clients time windows (standard, of course), but having to make another appointment for a house I don’t own was an inconvenience to many more people than just my real estate agent.Considering that I could not be present for these appointment, it would have been helpful to get a quick phone call from the technician to give me a summary of the state of the plumbing. I did not need a full list but a courtesy call would have been helpful to assuage my concerns about the plumbing of the home I am about to buy. Instead, I had to call multiple times and when told that I would receive a call back, I heard nothing from Emory. When I did speak to someone, it was not even a technician. However, she did have a good grasp of the issues but could not speak to the specific detail of the home’s plumbing. Her customer service the best out of the all the people I dealt with, but it did not come without a bit of prompting on my end.I received the report 48 hours after the inspection. The report consisted of 1 page just stating the issue and a repair cost estimate. There were no pictures, no detail about the proposed repair for items that were more technical in nature, no explanation of the repair cost estimate nor did they include labor in their estimate. In sum, a substandard product.I would like to give Emory Plumbing the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps had I been present for the inspections, I would have had a better experience. But when I explained my situation, they did little to address my needs. It does not take much effort to return calls nor to provide a bit more detail in a report. I would recommend that Emory review their inspections reports to provide more detail and be more transparent in their repair estimates and to include an estimate on labor costs. Additionally, I would recommend that Emory improve their customer service procedures to include a follow up with their clients.

I am writing to recommend, in the highest possible terms, Jacob from Steve Fox plumbing. He showed extraordinary integrity, thoughtfulness, and competence (unlike our previous plumbers from Point Loma plumbing). Jacob corrected several errors produced by the previous plumbers and tested each of his solutions thoroughly before proceeding to the next step. In my experience, this kind of service, thoroughness, and integrity is unequalled. I plan to use Fox Plumbing henceforth for all plumbing needs.

Vlad & Almco have my plumbing business permanently. I feel that they are the best plumbers in San Diego County. They've served my family well, both on large below slab sewer and pipe lining projects and small important upgrades to shower cartridges. It feels great to use them because they not only do a great job, they have solid values and a wonderful vision for the future growth of their business. I feel good using them because their work is excellent and I want them to succeed with their business vision. It will be great to see the company expand so that many others can benefit from their skill set and business values as well.

What else is needed, prompt, good value, staff polite, neat. Recommend.

I had a 40 year old non-standard master bath tub with Kohler fixtures. My plumber of 25 years gave up on replacing the old fixtures after doing half the job. Kenneth of HPS Mechanical took on the challenge. He came out three times and took pictures and measurements. He finally got Kohler to send the correct fixtures and he finished the job today. I want to commend Kenneth for his persistance and good work, HP s Mechanical is now my plumber of choice.

best plumber i ever met! knows his stuff (fixed a hot water direction issue in less than 3 mins.) that our handyman couldn't figure out. removed a broken thread off our shower (i broke it) and another plumber wanted to unnecessarily tear up the adjacent bathroom to get at and replace the pipes...saved me a lot of money there. he is neat and thorough, he cleans after himself (even wiped the water spilled with his own rag) he's pleasant, knowledgeable, has a sense of humor and is a good communicator, need i say more?

Angel is the most careful plumber I had a chance to work with. His tank installation is insulated and after 6 months we have no issue with the tank. He is meticulous with his job and keeps on going out to his wonder truck to get either 1 thing or another to make sure everything is perfect before he would leave. He is a careful plumber and heaven knows we thank him for it.

I had a minor leak in my bathtub drain which was affecting the unit below me. I was fortunate to have William and Cameron diagnose my problem quickly and return within a short time period to repair the problem . They also provided two different options with different costs to choose from which we really appreciated. The entire experience was not only done with the height of professionalism and knowledge, but with great attitudes and even some laughter which is a rare find today. Prices were reasonable, appointment times were prompt, and these two men definitely went the extra mile to make the experience pleasant. I will recommend Perry Plumbing to my friends and family. Sam of Sedco Plumbing recently completed a plumbing repair on my dad’s home, and I was very impressed by his professionalism. He was early to the appointment, he was honest, and he knew how to fix the problem when a previous plumber failed. His many years of experience showed in the quality of his work, and he and his co-worker Mike finished clearing the drain blockage though it wasn’t an easy job.
