I called late on a Sunday night because there was a leak in my irrigation system and I couldn't find the shut off valve. They stayed on the phone with me, looked at pictures I texted of the problem, and talked me through it as a courtesy!! Wow, I was so grateful and impressed.

Contracted Point Loma Electric to upgrade the home electrical system to 200 amp service, install new lighting in hallways, a whole house cooling fan, replace exhaust fans in bathrooms, add external lighting and run new wiring to some kitchen appliances to get them on separate circuits. Jim and Dave arrived right on time and came well prepared as they had all the materials needed for the work when they arrived. They were efficient and precise in the way they did the installations, no short cuts, everything done to code, no exceptions on even the smallest details. They also thoroughly cleaned up all of the dust and residue of the construction. By far the best contractors I have ever hired to work on my property.

I thought that there might be something wrong with our 34 year old electric furnace but wasn't sure. It would come on just fine but wasn't as hot as we remembered. It had a bad sequencer and was running at 30% efficiency.Unlike our previous repair firm, Tarpy heating and air did not try to sell us an expensive new system or heat pump. They told us what the issue was, ordered the part and were exactly on time both days they came. If you have an older furnace and don't want to replace it, I would call them without hesitation.
