Rumpca Services came promptly and found out why the furnace wasn't operating. Rather than charging us for parts we didn't need, they explained how box elder bugs had entered the exhaust vent and totally blocked it, and caused the pressure switch to malfunction. The solution is to vacuum the exhaust vent where it attached to the furnace at the beginning of each heating season. It is so nice to work with someone who is honest and will take the time to share a quick tip to use next time. I am totally impressed!

A supply line to our bathtub burst one evening leaving us with water coming through our dinning room ceiling. I tried calling several big name plumbing companies that said they had 24/7 emergency services. After minutes of talking with a call center rep I found out that nobody was available. I called Pedro with Do It Right Plumbing and he answered after a couple rings. He came out 15 minutes later. He found the problem, was able to explain it to us, and capped the water supply lines that night so we could turn the water back on to the rest of the house. Scheduled an installation a week out due to my schedule. They arrived on time and completed install as ordered and were done in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Very pleased with no issues. Highly recommend this company. They took my call after hours, arrived quickly, and got the back up with my main line diagnosed and fixed quickly. Ran a camera through after the job to be extra thorough and confirm that the lines were clear. Happy they did this because we found a nasty old mouse on camera stuck at a Y in the drain 25 feet in. Took care of that too. Robert was the technician and he was awesome — prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. Reasonable pricing even for after hours rates. No need calling anywhere else for plumbing jobs.

The responsiveness of Alto on a Saturday when we had tree roots in our main sewer line was amazing. Rick was at our house in less than an hour and had the problem solved within a couple of hours. I have their card on my fridge for future issues.

Similar to other reviews (wish I would've seen before calling them) they forced me to sign an agreement for $445 to clear a clog just a few feet beyond the kitchen sink trap. Wait, it gets much worse. They ran the snake through the vent pipe and told me this is a bad clog. I asked how he could tell because the snake was whipping above the roof line. He pulled it back in and jammed it so hard downward that it broke the PVC drain pipe, destroying my bathroom ceiling and insulation with 2 full sinks of water. Two guys stood there while I tore down the drywall to find the break. They said it's not their fault because there was no purple primer showing on the PVC pipe and joint. I told them it's never leaked since 1983 when the home was built and that there's such a thing as clear primer. He denied the existence of clear primer. They left me with a broken pipe and huge mess. Cost to repair was 3 days from my job and over $300 of materials (I did all of the work myself). These guys only care about money. Worst contractor I've hired in 35 years that I've owned properties. The two tenants living in that unit can attest to all of this and were also inconvenienced for 3 straight days. I would give them zero stars if possible.
