First let me say that I have never submitted a review of any company, service or even restaurant but felt compelled to do so after my experience with this company. I originally called this company on 6/30, explained to the receptionist my issue and was told it sounded like a sprinkler issue. She gave me the name of AJS Sprinklers who came out on 7/6. They tested all the sprinklers and said it was a leak and I should call American Leak Detection.....so I did. AJS advised that it would be between $275-$300 to diagnose the issue. I called American Leak Detection and left a message, no response. Called again on the morning of 7/7, spoke with receptionist who said rep would be out between 3-5pm and asked for my credit card to put on hold. Max came out, did the diagnostic review (took approximately 45 minutes) and flagged where the leak was. I asked him what the cost would be to repair and how soon it could be done. He quoted $1200.00, said it was standard pricing and said I would need to speak to office about repairing. I asked about the charge for the service he had provided and he said the office would send me a report of the findings via email with the affiliated charge. Wednesday morning I see a charge on my account for 395.00 but have yet to be contacted by anyone or provided with paperwork for the services. In the meantime I found a plumber who did the work for 175.00. To date I still do not have my report or even a receipt of payment yet they have my money. This company is a rip off and do not do business in a manner that I would consider professional. Advice to all do research and find a dependable plumber. I should have and would have saved $395.00
