Called Dave to unplug a sewer line at my son's house in Millvale.. Was to be a $99 special with a camera... He could not unclog the line And did not even bring a camera..but charged me $145 .I gave him $160 as he said he would return on weds...After numerous texts and phone calls to him .. He returned with two texts.. one that he would call me at lunch. which he never did .and one for an exorbitant amount of money $3200 when he did not even know the situation...had to pay another plumber an additional $70 to put the toilet back on.... Very unprofessional and a complete waste of money...

I called around to a lot of places for quotes on a water heater replacement and these guys had the best rate by far. Dispatch was very pleasant to deal with, and Maryanne made sure I was on the schedule before the weekend so my daughter and I weren't without hot water until Monday. Brandon came out at the exact time dispatch said he would, and he was very polite and professional. He explained everything clearly and did not try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need which is more than could be said about a lot of competitors. There were absolutely no hidden fees or up charges, I paid exactly what was quoted. Brandon even gave some advice on possible issues with my chimney and things to look out for on my PVM. From start to finish, I really don't think it could've gone better. I'll absolutely be calling them for future work.

Matt P came to our home to fix one thing and ended up fixing several electrical items. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and proactive. He corrected some faulty work that had been done by another contractor which resulted in making sure our pool equipment was safe. We can't thank him enough for his great work!

Great experience with an honest company that solved a problem with a water temperature and pressure issue in the kitchen. Handled efficiently and professionally. The fee was very reasonable. Highly recommended and will not hesitate to call on them again for any plumbing needs I have in the future. Bill and team took on our project of moving our laundry room from the basement up to the 2nd story and into our master bedrooms closet. Can't say enough good things about his work. He is very knowledgable, takes his time for accuracy, cleans worksite up when complete, good communicator, trustworthy, friendly, cares for your project like its his own. Would easily hire him again. Actually getting 2 more quotes for future projects. You wont regret using Bill Helmken plumbing.

The techs showed up on time. Installed HVAC. Tested both units. Installed thermostat. Reviewed operation of thermostat. Cleaned up from the install. Very professional and polite.

I had a backed up basement drain today. And since this company re-lined my sewer already, i gave them a call. Within 3 hours they were here. Zach and Ryan explained exactly what they thought it might be. Then after maybe 15 minutes, they confirmed it, and they showed me on the camera scope the actual issue. Really great.
The price quoted on the phone was exactly what i was charged. No hassle, really nice techs, good stuff.
I will use them for any issues that will come up, as well as recommend this company to anyone.

We had to get a new electric water heater for our house. We wanted an on demand tankless electric heater that was energy efficient, and we didn’t want to have to run a gas line from the street to house and do all that work. Mike was able to find us the Essency EXR electric water heater that is a hybrid and offers the best of both tankless and tank water heaters. It has a 30 year warranty and connects to wi-fi. This thing is a beast and is actually really beautiful looking. It’s got a smartphone app and everything. Mike was able to install it and now we have hot water on demand and never need to worry about running the dishwasher at the same time we’re filling up the bathtub for our kids. We can even do the laundry while doing the other two things. We could never do that before with our old water heater. Highly recommend W.J. McNabb Plumbing and this Essency EXR water heater. We’re very happy!

My old terracotta piping in the basement was being blocked up by roots so I called Brett and his team to fix it. They cleaned it out and installed a new liner. Their clean up of the space was great and the new liner works perfectly. They answered all my questions and were super respectful. 10 out of 10 recommend 412 plumbing

First off, that did right
by me ... an owner who handles his business and doesn't depend only on the others to carry that weight. Seems simple, but I've been around a long time, and this was REFRESHING!
Shows pride and a REAL love for his business. Respect. Keep that move! But then asked if I needed them on spot... I wasn't available but he was FOR ME! I asked for the following morning, and he obliged. Gave me 10-2, showed up around noon, gave me an hourly quote, BUT FIXED MY STUFF IN 38 MINUTES! He sent Mike, who was knowledgeable and easy to talk to, even gave me tips for the future! I'm not gonna lie, as a home owner I was nervous of what this was going to cost me.... but Terry and Mike did absolutely RIGHT BY ME! I recommend again and Again!. Thank you both so very much for not killing me on the pricing. My word, I'll call you for every problem in the future here forward. Thank you for your honesty. It's rare.

Super friendly, honest guys. As a female homeowner that does alot of work on my house myself, I like to ask questions and understand what repairs are being made. Jim answered all my questions and walked me through basic maintainence on my boiler system. Would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.
