Best Clogged Toilet in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. Horrible experience and would never recommend. They cancelled and rescheduled on me 2 times before finally coming out. Had an issue with my water heater. Chaquan was the technician and was completely clueless. Looked at it for 30 seconds and told me he didn’t feel comfortable repairing it and would rather just replace the whole thing for over $2000. Mind you it’s only 5 years old and just needed a new pilot assembly. Then charged me $98 just for coming out and not doing anything. Had a different plumber come out the next day and they fixed it for $450 and didn’t charge anything to come out. Would never recommend mr rooter or chaquan to anyone!

We have used Brickhaas Pluming on two separate occasions now. I could not be happier with their service. They do quality work at a fair price. They are responsive when you contact them. Every technician that I have delt with (four in total, including Gary) are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will not go anyplace else wile I am in the Pittsburgh area. Highly recommended!!

Just want to give a shout-out to Bauer Plumbing. We had a leaky pipe in the basement that suddenly gushed. I called a bunch of places and no one could come out until Tuesday (or even called back).
George Bauer called me back minutes after I spoke with his answering service. He had a team here within an hour and they finished replacing the pipe (and assessing for any other risks) in short order.
They were friendly, courteous and professional, and I didn't feel like I was taken to the cleaners when I was given the invoice. Highly recommend!

Tried to schedule a dye test and told “wrong color”.’ Why spend money advertising if you don’t want people’s business?

Professional, this crew came in well organized, with a plan. They worked quickly, finished quickly and left my basement cleaner than what it was. The work they did was beautiful and looked like it could appear on a home improvement show. They are honest and respectful and I would hire them again without hesitation!

Diesel Plumbing responded very quickly to a non emergent hose bib issue and had availability to evaluate the problem within just a couple days. Professional and efficient, will definitely reach out to them if ever needed in the future!

We used Pittsburgh Plumbing and Sewers last year for a number of projects including our kitchen renovation (moving plumbing lines and hvac plus full install), washer and dryer install and replacement of outdoor drains and fresh air vent. Chris who we worked with was very professional, honest and communicated with us throughout the whole project and completed our job a lot sooner than we expected. While we don’t want to go through home renovations again anytime soon, we would absolutely trust no one else. Highly recommended.

I had a backed up sewer and contacted Frank on a Sunday, within 5 minutes he replied back. He was able to fit me in the next day. Within just a few minutes of getting there he had the clog removed. Great guy, I highly recommend him!

My furnace began to randomly stop working and buzz loudly. Came across AG Plumbing searching google reviews. The owners were hands on from the initial call to completion of my project. They were thorough in explaining the issue, provided me reasonable quotes for both fixing or replacing the unit.
They we very friendly and professional providing frequent updates on part ordering, delivery and promptly scheduling installation. They even included fixing a leaky pipe that I found after they had already given me my quote and didn't change the price when processing my payment. I plan on contacting them for future projects and recommending to my friends and neighbors.

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.

Not a very happy camper. I called them to take care of a leak at my house that I had noticed. They were prompt, came out a lot earlier than I thought they would. The ended up replacing a wax ring and bolts on an upstairs toilet and then looked at the master bath about a leak in the drain. When I asked them for an estimate they told me about $2700. I texted a contractor friend and said no way do I do this, NO WAY! The contractor was at my house today 6/28 and replaced the seal and the piece of ceiling that needed to be cutaway to access under the shower stall. $200!!!!! Make sure you question them about everything, never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a local business, that I have trusted in the past, no more. You lost a good customer.

Had them out a while back for a no heat problem . They told me that I had a cracked heat exchanger , and needed to replace the furnace immediately . Their quote was ridiculous . When I declined , he said he would red tag my furnace , and call the building inspector , and then I would have to leave my house until it was fixed . I asked him to show me where the crack was, but his camera conveniently died . I offered to go pick him up a battery. , but his takes “ special “ batteries. Told him to go kick rocks . Had another company come out , replace the thermocouple, and no more problems. And we looked at the heat exchanger with his camera . Couldn’t find anything . These guys are con men . Find someone with integrity to work on your home …
