Best Clogged Drain Line in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. DON'T DO IT! I would never recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing. I called Mr. Rooter last Sunday. The pilot light went out on my hot water tank. They were not able to send anyone on Sunday but did send someone late morning on Monday. The technician tried to light the pilot but it would not work. The tank was installed in 2003 so the technician recommended a new one. I asked how much it would be and the quote he gave me was $2,016. Realizing that it was extremely high, I asked the price of the hot water tank. He told me around $700. I then asked for an itemized list of the cost. He told me he did not have one and I would need to call the company. I had been without hot water for over 24 hours so I was anxious to have the situation remedied. The technician told me that in order for him to do the work, I needed to sign an emergency work order. Emergency? It was not an emergency. He was there during business hours on a Monday. The technician was able to finish the job completely in about an hour and a half. He only needed to install the tank and nothing else. He was able to use the existing vent. While he was working, I called Mr. Rooter and asked for an itemized list of costs. I was told that the, Man who does that isn't in right now and that they would get back to me. Of course, that didn't happen. I also sent an email to the company and not surprisingly, I received no response. This was NOT an emergency. $1,000 or even $1,200 would be a fair price for this job but over $2,000? And no itemized list of the cost?

We have used Brickhaas Pluming on two separate occasions now. I could not be happier with their service. They do quality work at a fair price. They are responsive when you contact them. Every technician that I have delt with (four in total, including Gary) are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will not go anyplace else wile I am in the Pittsburgh area. Highly recommended!!

Called Patrick to replace two three handle shower valves for my bathrooms in my 1950’s home. Patrick was quick and professional and installed quality central brass fixtures in both bathrooms without looking to over charge me like other plumbers. I would definitely recommend him to others in need of repairs done to their home.

Rich was our repairman today. He was very professional and solved the plumbing issue--toilet that kept running, tank kept refilling. All is in order! Responded same day and within a few hours. Appreciate Rich's expertise and friendly manner. We will definitely call Puharic Plumbing again and ask for Rich!

When the water company came knocking on our door to alert us of a leak within our service line we immediately contacted Brian with Diesel Plumbing. He provided clear instruction on what we needed to do. We contacted the leak detection company and alerted Brian to when our appointment was scheduled. Shortly after the leak detection company came and completed their assessment Brian arrived and evaluated the situation, he put a plan in place and was back with his machines first thing Monday morning! It was a messy job but Brian and his team got the job done within hours and got us back on the up and up with the water company! We highly recommend Brian for any of your plumbing needs! Definitely give him a call...he is professional, reliable and most of all FAIR (which can sometimes be hard to find)!!!!! Thank you Brian for everything!!!!!

Lucas took care of three plumbing issues pretty quickly. Work was done professionally, and he did a great job. Highly Recommend! Colin came back for a follow up and all was well. Great guys and service.

Mike came out quickly to give me a quote on work I needed to have done at my property. The price was reasonable and he came back with his team to finish the job quickly. I couldn’t be happier and will be utilizing his services from now on my plumbing needs.

We used Pittsburgh Plumbing and Sewers last year for a number of projects including our kitchen renovation (moving plumbing lines and hvac plus full install), washer and dryer install and replacement of outdoor drains and fresh air vent. Chris who we worked with was very professional, honest and communicated with us throughout the whole project and completed our job a lot sooner than we expected. While we don’t want to go through home renovations again anytime soon, we would absolutely trust no one else. Highly recommended.

They may or may not do good work. Personally I have never used them, will never, or refer them to anyone since they don't know how to clean up after themselves and take their garbage with them. I am a contractor & every place I go into that this company was in before me their garbage or specifically the old hot water tank is left behind for someone else to remove. That is completely unprofessional & lazy. Learn to take your trash!

Had them out a while back for a no heat problem . They told me that I had a cracked heat exchanger , and needed to replace the furnace immediately . Their quote was ridiculous . When I declined , he said he would red tag my furnace , and call the building inspector , and then I would have to leave my house until it was fixed . I asked him to show me where the crack was, but his camera conveniently died . I offered to go pick him up a battery. , but his takes “ special “ batteries. Told him to go kick rocks . Had another company come out , replace the thermocouple, and no more problems. And we looked at the heat exchanger with his camera . Couldn’t find anything . These guys are con men .
