Pittsburgh Plumbing Service Plumber
First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

Zoom Drain Plumber
Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. Thank you, Zoom Drain!

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh Plumber
Matt arrived to my house within 30minutes of my call. His mastery of his craft was evident by the way he explained many things including how he had to check the house water pressure first, before replacing my leaking potable water expansion tank. When he determined the pressure was way too high, he explained in detail why and how he would have to replace the water pressure regulator before installing the new tank. He explained every step of the process, and he patiently and politely answered all my questions in great detail. Since I bought the five year extension, he checked all exposed pipes and faucets at the end of his visit, clearly noting what improvements needed to be made to some hoses and faucets.I am not happy that my thermal expansion tank was leaking and that I had to incur two important repair expenses, in addition to having to miss a daylong prepaid teacher PD workshop, but I am grateful that it was a polite, intelligent, expert, and patient professional who serviced my plumbing emergency. As it turns out, by checking and lowering the water pressure from 130 to 60 (!!!), Matt spared me future leaking disasters.Thank you, Mr. Rooter, and thank you Matt.

Jesse was the best plumber I’ve ever had for years but I can’t get him anymore because he moved onto commercial projects. However, Lucas redid my leaking shower and did an awesome job. Professional, friendly and quick. Will ask for him again in the future.

Terry's Plumbing, Inc. Plumber
OK so, I called, spoke to Terry himself, as he was the one to answer the phone....
First off, that did right
by me ... an owner who handles his business and doesn't depend only on the others to carry that weight. Seems simple, but I've been around a long time, and this was REFRESHING!
Shows pride and a REAL love for his business. Respect. Keep that move! But then asked if I needed them on spot... I wasn't available but he was FOR ME! I asked for the following morning, and he obliged. Gave me 10-2, showed up around noon, gave me an hourly quote, BUT FIXED MY STUFF IN 38 MINUTES! He sent Mike, who was knowledgeable and easy to talk to, even gave me tips for the future! I'm not gonna lie, as a home owner I was nervous of what this was going to cost me.... but Terry and Mike did absolutely RIGHT BY ME! I recommend again and Again!. Thank you both so very much for not killing me on the pricing. My word, I'll call you for every problem in the future here forward. Thank you for your honesty. It's rare.

Btw, I got recommended to them from my nephew who was also very pleased!

Christy Plumbing & Heating Co Plumber
My experience with Christy Plumbing and Heating was excellent. I had a pinhole leak in a pipe in my basement. It wasn't too serious of a leak and they were able to get me on the schedule for the following day. They showed up on time, were able to diagnose the issue promptly, had the materials to fix it with them and took care of it. Charge was about $200 which I found to be entirely fair and reasonable. Most companies charge at least $100 just for the service call. They also looked at couple other random issues that I was having and made some adjustments to address those issues (all of which are much improved) at no charge to me. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Taggart Plumbing, LLC Plumber
I have worked with Taggart on several occasions since becoming a homeowner of a 100+ year old home, and I am impressed every time. They have had availability that is so convenient, and the work they do is minimally invasive, professional, but most importantly, efficient.

This most recent go, I had a leak in old copper piping that had flooded out the ceiling in the floor below it. I did the old duct tape patch job to mitigate the spread, then immediately called Taggart (it was late afternoon). They had availability early the next day, and I was provided extremely useful information, suggested outcomes, current and future state suggestions, to boot. The work took maybe 2 hours, and the original leak, plus a leak I originally didn't know about were replaced cleanly, with PEX.

While I hope I don't need to call them too often, I'm always impressed when I do. Thank you, team!

Sembower-Mikesell, Inc. Plumber
Not a very happy camper. I called them to take care of a leak at my house that I had noticed. They were prompt, came out a lot earlier than I thought they would. The ended up replacing a wax ring and bolts on an upstairs toilet and then looked at the master bath about a leak in the drain. When I asked them for an estimate they told me about $2700. I texted a contractor friend and said no way do I do this, NO WAY! The contractor was at my house today 6/28 and replaced the seal and the piece of ceiling that needed to be cutaway to access under the shower stall. $200!!!!! Make sure you question them about everything, never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a local business, that I have trusted in the past, no more. You lost a good customer.
