Best Broken Water Line in Pittsburgh PA

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

Tim & Johnny completed excavation work as part of an office bathroom remodel. Did a fine job, unfortunately, they had to wait most of the day for the Hampton Inspector to arrive. Recommend Mr Rooter of Western PA for your plumbing needs. JB

Bill and team took on our project of moving our laundry room from the basement up to the 2nd story and into our master bedrooms closet. Can't say enough good things about his work. He is very knowledgable, takes his time for accuracy, cleans worksite up when complete, good communicator, trustworthy, friendly, cares for your project like its his own. Would easily hire him again. Actually getting 2 more quotes for future projects. You wont regret using Bill Helmken plumbing.

I have been living with a costly and stressful plumbing situation for months, and had already had bad experiences with 2 other local plumbing companies. As such I was very skeptical about calling someone else. I decided to call Mr. Rooter on the recommendation of 2 of my friends as my problem was now beyond just living with it. The lady who took my order and sent out the plumber was not only courteous, but very attentive and made sure that they kept me informed as to when I would have a plumber at my home. She did this by keeping in contact throughout my wait by phone. I was not used to such attentive service, and it was greatly appreciated. When Mr. Orlando Knuckle did finally arrive, he was courteous, pleasant and very professional. I had several problems which were spread over a few days. Not only did he help solve my plumbing problems, but he did so with pride in his work, while at the same time making me feel like a valued customer, even though we had only just met. My experience overall with the Mr. Rooter company was timely, and very much needed. The jobs were also priced fairly and the staff and Mr. Knuckle were HONEST. This has not always been a given when hiring someone to come into my home to do a home repair like this. This company and Orlando now have a new and most likely lifetime customer, or for at least as long as I still live in this area. I simply cannot thank or recommend the company, and especially Mr. Knuckle enough.

I am so grateful for Brian! Last night the drain in my basement backed up. I called Brain this morning and he came and fixed it in less than an hour! I was so impressed, he did such a fantastic job! I have other plumbing needs and will definitely call him!

These guys set the standard for how all businesses should be run. Communication was fantastic, start to finish and everyone was very professional. Not a very happy camper. I called them to take care of a leak at my house that I had noticed. They were prompt, came out a lot earlier than I thought they would. The ended up replacing a wax ring and bolts on an upstairs toilet and then looked at the master bath about a leak in the drain. When I asked them for an estimate they told me about $2700. I texted a contractor friend and said no way do I do this, NO WAY! The contractor was at my house today 6/28 and replaced the seal and the piece of ceiling that needed to be cutaway to access under the shower stall. $200!!!!! Make sure you question them about everything, never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a local business, that I have trusted in the past, no more. You lost a good customer.

Do NOT use this company. We were assigned this company through our home warranty. They are very unprofessional and are not even doing their job fully. Didn’t even try to diagnose our leak on our hot water tank. They tightened the bolt on the first visit. We even showed them photos of it leaking. They left and not even 3 days after it still continued to leak, had them come back. They said nothing is mechanically wrong because it wasn’t leaking at the time of arrival. Didn’t care to even try to turn on the water in the house to prove. Not even there for 5 min. Now it 2 weeks later the pipe is STILL leaking. Called to have them come back and said I am wasting their time and they are not coming back because nothing is wrong. Yet they didn’t even try to prove that it was leaking! Very rude very unprofessional. Awful company. Do not use this company. The owner is rude and ignorant. They shouldn’t even be considered a plumbing company because they don’t do anything to solve the issue at hand. A total joke of a company!!!
