Each and every step was explained to the apprentice. That lengthened the amount of time to complete the job. When the job was complete, the water was turned on and the equipment tested. There was a leak. Troubleshooting and fixing the leak took another 10 minutes. Then the drywall cut out (the wall had to be cut to access the plumbing) was taped into place. 2 hours later, that drywall piece fell out. The only thing I had in the house to cover the hole was a piece of cardboard and duct tape. The actual repair once it was completed was nice. It took much longer than it was estimated to take. Customers should be told ahead of time that an apprentice was going to be working under the guidance of the regular technician.
